We had a wonderful night at the Bluebonnet Cottage. It felt welcoming and comfortable from the moment we stepped inside. The cottage was perfectly clean when we arrived and had plenty of towels and linens for our family. We enjoyed the snacks provided as well as the tasty breakfast set for us on the outdoor table in the morning. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and spent most of our time outside on the deck or in the heated pool. Our small kids had a blast splashing around and we enjoyed sitting out under the stars after they were settled in bed. The beds were comfortable and the night was quiet. We appreciated that the toiletries and cleaning products in the house were plant-based and not full of chemicals and that the food was high quality (almost all the same brands I buy for our family at home). We also really appreciated that there were tissues in every room, which is a small detail but not standard in other airbnbs we've visited! Highly recommend.

What a wonderful little cabin on peaceful land. The cabin has everything you need and is very comfortable. It has a wonderful deck and lush nature with a creek for daily walks with my pup. Their dog was so friendly as well, my little chihuahua made a new east friend. Kristen and Corey are such friendly, gracious, and hospitable hosts I highly recommend a stay here, also only 17 min from downtown Austin. Great location with nature.

This property is truly beautiful! The grounds are stunning and incredibly peaceful—perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. Isabel and her family were very responsive yet respectful of privacy, which made the stay even more relaxing. There's so much space to explore. We walked along the creek and got to see some longhorns! Everything was clean, well-maintained, and just as described. Dolly and Stevee, the friendliest dogs, made us feel totally at home and were always nearby keeping us company. Whether you're visiting for an event or just a getaway, this is the perfect place to recharge. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at The Cottage was lovely. It was very peaceful, relaxing and quiet and just what we needed to disconnect from the craziness of the daily stress.

Great hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Lots of great dining and entertainment options nearby. The pool was awesome. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee with their sweet dog and chickens. We also got To watch deer by their back fence. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

This was my second visit and my kids loved, loved, loved our stay. Right on the river, close to town, and beautiful. I would recommend the classic cabins if available, we stayed in the boarding house this time and the only drawback is no kitchen. But we still loved it.

My husband and I stayed here with our 1 year old son and had a fantastic time. Nancy had absolutely everything we needed with a little one. The pack n play, mattress for the pack n play, the high chair, children’s plates and utensils, and the toys and books were extremely helpful. They had plenty of life jackets, beach towels and floaties that we really didn’t need to bring much with us. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was wonderful and so peaceful. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. Obvious that the host cares about details and really went beyond to make the cabin welcoming. All the many lovely touches to the cabin make it clear this cabin is a home and is loved by its owners. We saw many dear and a fox during our stay and we slept so well. Definitely recommend staying here and we hope to again.

Bella Rosa was even better than we expected. Every tiny detail was considered in this beautiful home. There was nothing we "had to run to town" to get because everything was already in the home. The beauty of nature surrounded Bella Rosa, and we especially enjoyed all of the birds, hanging out by Cypress Creek, which was a very short walk to, and feeding the deer each morning from the front porch with the provided deer corn. Another great thing about Bella Rosa was that we had a short 8-10 minute walk to the town of Wimberley and avoided the parking troubles within the town. If you are looking for a beautiful yet comfortable home to stay while visiting the Wimberley area, we highly recommend Bella Rosa. Robert and Chalene, the hosts, have created a magnificent getaway and are excellent with communication.

great host, beautiful home and right next to the lake if you wanna swim, I would definitely recommend staying here especially if your wanting to visit austin.

The backyard is deep and backs up to the Wild Onion Ranch. We were greeted by a herd of Longhorn while we were sitting on the porch, drinking our coffee. The lawn was freshly mowed and the porch and yard were as clean as the house. There is a busy nearby street but once inside the cottage, you don't hear a thing. It's a lovely little getaway. We will certainly be back.

Ms. Betty was an exceptional host. She even alerted us of possible threat of bad storms and hail in the area. She responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was perfect for me, my daughter and grandson. I definitely will stay here every time I go to visit my son and granddaughter!

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.

I couldn’t say more about my stay. Jill was a wonderful host! The cottage was very cozy and clean and had everything I needed. I spent every evening on her dock which had a beautiful view. I also liked having a check in at 1pm as an option. I highly recommend staying at the cottage !

Cute little cottage with a ton of amenities right outside of downtown Wimberley. The location is great because it’s quiet but close enough for a 3 minute trip down the road to restaurants and shops. I’d recommend cabin 1/white because your porch with hot tub is very private. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay with our family of 4 and dog. Driving all the way from Colorado, it was nice to find that we were going to be remote, and not in a central city (plan your meals well!). The space was perfect for keeping our family comfy and close. The record player was a hit with the kids, as was the Jacuzzi. The whole week was simple and relaxing.

La Grotta was a beautiful stay. The place looked exactly like the photos. The pool and hot tub were an added amenity that my friends and I loved. If I travel back to Wimberley, I would definitely choose this place to stay again!

John's unit, located within Barton Creek Lakeside, is just great. Well furnished with everything one might need and actually is even more lovely than the pictures present. Very comfortable in all ways. We rented both sides to this duplex for a family gathering and it could not have worked out more perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Really nice.

10 out of 10!! This place is beautiful, has every kitchen amenity we could think of, super comfy beds, and a welcome basket with local things to do and snacks. Cam was a great host and we hope to come back again soon!

The house was adorable and comfortable (loved the ac). The beds were plush and the kitchen was well equipped. We used the hot tub every night we were there and barely left the square. Everything we wanted was right there. The historical home next door was interesting to read about as well. We will be back!
