Brew local coffee using the French press and access Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime via the Roku TV. Do some writing on the work desk overlooking the leafy backyard, then climb the wooden ladder to access the loft bed, tucked under the vaulted roof.
“I had the best time in this tiny house! I loved getting coffee at Hola coffee close by. The neighborhood is full of character and I was greeted by very warm people in the local restaurants. Kelsea came right out when I was struggling with getting the Key out for the air B and B. She was ready immediately when I needed her.”
My cabin is a hidden gem in Urbandale, a neighborhood only 15 minutes from downtown that's filled with unique architecture, old trees, and multicultural flavor. Crafted from pine felled and hand-planed in Boone, NC, the cabin has a wonderful smell and unique aesthetic. It's like a woodcutter's home deep in the woods, yet sits safely in my verdant backyard. Covered parking is removed from the road and secure. Already booked or need more space? Check out my Airstream!
“Amazing log cabin feel that exceeded my expectations. The decor was spot on and matched the place perfectly. Everything was spotless, which is important when the bathroom and the kitchen are essentially one entity. I always wanted to know what it's like to stay in a tiny house, and I was surprised how roomy the bedroom felt, and how comfortable the overall experience was. Nothing really felt too cramped for my purposes (though if you plan on doing a lot of dishes, or bringing in lots of stuff, that could be tough). I found one half of the mattress to be kind of saggy, but I switched to the other side and slept just fine. For a one night stay, this place suited me perfectly and was an interesting and novel experience. Grady was a great host, offered complimentary snacks and drinks, responded very quickly, and even helped me mail a package. Recommend.”
An exquisite, handcrafted home, blending Bauhaus contemporary with warm rustic elegance, in a secluded setting with running brook and shimmering light filtered through countless Japanese Maples. Winding gravel foot paths through a forested canopy lead to the foot bridge traversing Ash Creek on to the Treehouse entry. Tucked away in the heart of Little Forest Hills, this timeless, private property is truly extraordinary.
“The treehouse was absolutely breathtaking. I had the best time just chilling at the treehouse taking in the incredible views, sounds, and surrounding . Truely so peaceful thank you”
