Farmstay vacation rentals in Northeastern United States

A breath of fresh air if you are looking to escape from the city. Super friendly and helpful host, Jillian. I visited with my 3 year old in fall and there was an endless list of kid friendly activities to do in the area.

My girlfriend and I had a great time during our stay! We loved that it was really private and the only thing heard was the nature around us. John was very nice from the moment we entered his property and provided very detailed instructions on how to use everything. We highly recommend this rental and will be renting it again in the near future!

I love the beautiful house and the beautiful surroundings. We used it as a family get away and it certainly filled that need, especially because of the lack of cell phone service and Wi-Fi. Great place to disappear to for a few days. Adam is very helpful and responsive!

Bernard’s place was perfect for our visit. It was cozy and inviting with plenty of space for the three of us. The farm is beautiful and perfect for fall walks. The photos do not do this place justice. Bernard was a great host and very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed at Darrell and Cindy’s place several times over the last several years and have always loved it. It’s an old farmhouse that is part of a still active farm. (Our six-month old grandson enjoyed seeing cows for the first time.) The home is very clean and has everything we needed for meal preparation and simply to be comfortable and to enjoy the privacy. We hope to keep returning.

Lara’s Farmhouse was beautiful, and in a lovely location. Close to all the amenities we desired, but quiet and peaceful. We felt very comfortable and had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time at Darthia Farm! We enjoyed sunrise down by the water and loved the short, but beautiful trail that led us right down to the water. We thoroughly enjoyed visits from the farm dogs and cat! The simple amenities really helped us to slow down and be intentional, even the way we washed the dishes. It was all very peaceful and what we needed. Even in the brisk weather of October, we enjoyed the outdoor shower! We cooked a delicious dinner one evening with yummy pesto and other goodies from the farm store (goat milk gelato was 🔥). Shepsi recommended some local hikes and on our last day ,we ventured over to Petit Manan wildlife refuge and hiked the Hollingsworth trail... absolutely stunning, and easy trail. Our stay here away from the busy tourist places of Maine was perfect!

this would be our second time at their home and again, just amazing! (: super clean, peaceful, always quick to message back if we have any questions, juust an overall great experience. We are looking forward to booking again when it's even warmer out! thankyoou!!😄

I loved my time at Rebecca's place! Not only was she flexible with my arrival time and provided me with helpful directions on how to get there and where to park, she was ready waiting outside when I pulled up! She was so nice and was so personable as if I was speaking to someone I've known for years! She gave me a tour of the unit and pointed out everything I needed to know! The stay was so clean and had towels and linens laid out for my use!!! She provided very tasty food recommendations and made sure I knew she was available if I needed anything during my stay!! Checkout was so easy and instructions were very easy to follow!!! I will definitely be taking her recommendation and returning in the Spring to get some much needed study time before my exams!! I would recommend this stay to everyone who's looking!!

Vanessa has been an above and beyond host. Would definitely come back and stay here for a week and also she has been very helpful with cute date night spots which helped a lot. Thanks vanessa for everything and for making our stay extra special

I loved staying at this amazing farm house. Claire and her husband renovated the property and it looks even better than the photos. I felt right at home here with farm fresh eggs waiting in the refrigerator. My favorite part was the bathroom. The vanity had drawers to hide all my stuff keeping the top free of clutter. The bath towels were both fluffy and absorbent. The place was spotless and modern. I am looking forward to staying here again!

Nathan's lavender farm retreat sounds like exactly like it sounds. Beautiful home on huge farm land. The house and hot tub were very clean. Everything we needed they have there. They have a little store to purchase soaps and many other products that they make from the lavender they grow there. Everything was so nice and they even put some samples inside the house for you to try...entire family was friendly l. I would recommend his house to anyone that asked.

We LOVED our stay! Kelli is such a sweet and helpful host! She had farm fresh sausage and eggs waiting for us. We love watching the turkeys every morning. If you are looking for a farm quiet Very clean place to stay this is it! We will definitely be back!

This place is awesome and we can’t wait to return. Everything was very clean, and it was private and so relaxing. The owners were very responsive and provided everything and even surprised us with fresh eggs. The chickens were such fun to watch from the patio, and Izzy their dog was so friendly. The owners are wonderful people and they were very attentive. We can’t wait to return.

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip to Niagara Falls, and this was our favorite stay along the way! The airbnb was warm, cozy and just as pictured, while the instructions to get in from Barb were also clear. We were able to cook and comfortably watch TV from bed. We were encouraged to come visit the goats in the morning before leaving, and it was truly the cherry on top to see them and pet the barn cats before making our way on the road. We felt very welcomed here, and would definitely come again!

We had a very nice stay at Holly's place. It was bigger than it appeared in the listing pictures. We had everything we needed for making our meals. The water was always hot. Even though there were people in the other apartment, we only heard them once when it appeared we were both cooking/washing dishes at the same time. The bedrooms were spacious. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay for our family.

We loved this sweet farm house! The space was perfect for our group- plus the sweet dogs and chickens made it extra magical! Sheila was a gem of a host! We will absolutely stay again in our next trip to Lancaster!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this dog-friendly and family-friendly Airbnb! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was easy to get to and situated in a lovely area. One of the highlights was the beautiful, large backyard—perfect for walking our dog and enjoying some outdoor time. Communication with the host was excellent, making the entire experience seamless. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and how well-maintained everything was. We will definitely be booking again in the future. Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful home away from home get-away. My husband and I had our first anniversary here and it was perfect from our fast paced life. We had our work phones and emails off and it truly served as the best disconnect from work and home life. We walked thru the property as much as we could to take in the scenery but it rained and was very windy, we still enjoyed the Airbnb itself. The property has such beautiful history and views. We are already talking about our next vacay here during the spring and summer to enjoy the property, swimming hole, trails and more. If you’re looking to disconnect and unwind from the world for a few days (especially as a VA local) this is your spot.

Tresa was an amazing host and is a great communicator. She reached out to me prior to our arrival regarding a potential issue and kept me updated throughout the week. My family was gathering to celebrate graduation at Bloomsburg and had planned to arrive mid-afternoon, but were delayed. Tresa let me know that she went over to turn on the lights for when we arrived. When we arrived, the house was warm and inviting. The congrats apple pie that waited for us was amazing. I will quote my dad as he walked out the door at check-out "This place was awesome!".

Great place to stay! A couple of my friends and I visited Wachusetts to ski, and this was a great place to stay. It was a quick drive to the ski resort, and the airbnb had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay for a group of people. Heidi is also an awesome host - she was super flexible with us and prepared all instructions and descriptions very well. Heidi is probably the most proactive and helpful host I have had so far. Thanks for the awesome stay!

We had an amazing stay at Gwen and Ed’s farm. We came with our family of 3 small children. The house was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was spotless. We loved the property with the most stunning views. We fished the ponds, walked around looking at the trees, watched the cows get fed in the morning. It was simply perfect. We also loved the fire pit! We would love to return!
