Vacation rentals with a kayak in Northeastern United States

This cottage was beautiful. You couldn’t ask for a better view or place to stay. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay as well. Very close to several beaches. We went to greys beach (about 12 minutes away) where there were trails to walk the dogs. Overall great experience. Would definitely stay again.

Jess' home was wonderful. It sits on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the water. The house is spacious - great for families. The ping pong table and reclining couch in the basement were nice! The kitchen was great for all the Thanksgiving cooking we did during our stay. The front yard is fenced, which is great for those with dogs. The hot tub was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay and would highly recommend it.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house was cozy, comfortable, and immaculately clean—everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful and made for a peaceful, scenic backdrop during our stay. It was the perfect spot for our college visit tours, offering a quiet retreat after busy days. Daniela, the host, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again!

Susan was the manager, but the “real” hosts were the owners, Brenda and Mike. Just really friendly, kind, helpful and down to earth. Felt absolutely at home. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all sorts of condiments and spices. I promise you won’t be needing anything. Lots of nice clean dishes, appliances, etc. The place itself is outstanding in its location on the waters edge. The WiFi isn’t maybe the most reliable with a full house, but it’s adequate. Besides, LOOK at the photos, it’s stunning on the pond.

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

We had an awesome stay at this cozy, comfortable cottage—perfect for two families after a full day on the slopes. Every afternoon, we came back to the quiet and warmth of the cabin, made great meals in the super-cute kitchen, built a fire in the wood stove, and played board games around the big table. The kids loved the bunk room (especially having their own book lights!), and everything was easy to find and use. The shower was great, the space was inviting and there were many thoughtful touches such as plenty of hooks for hanging ski gear! We really appreciated how the family updated the cabin while keeping its historic charm. Such a great spot—would absolutely stay again! Thanks for making us feel so welcomed and comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great - right on the lake. We got the bonus of seeing the aurora lights over the lake! What a great experience!

Beautiful, private, relaxing stay in the Nature. The cottage has absolutely everything you will need for a whole family including babies to have a great vacation. Luisa was a great host and made us feel most welcomed! She suggested activities in the area around in addition to those available at the cottage itself and answered promptly, when we needed her help. We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

What a place… A weekend getaway for the wifes birthday… quiet lake, senic ride up, great cottage… 10/10 and thats with goin in february so I can only imagine in the summer. Fishing was good and the outdoor rink was awesome too. Highly recommend this cottage and Dan was a fantastic host!

Beautiful winter stay at well equipped comfy cabin! Definitely need 4WD and snow tires for the roads up in Haliburton. But so beautiful and peaceful with gorgeous view of the lake. Deer come through the property regularly. Cabin warmed up quick once wood stove got going. Beds were very comfortable. I only recommend visitors bring dry firewood to get fire going when you arrive. :-) Great experience would love to book again in fall.

A dream rustic cottage space! This location is wonderful, thoughtfully set up and run. With many sweet and homey details throughout the space and hosts (Darrnel and Mike), are genuinely welcoming and thoughtful. This gem is very family friendly with an all around feel good atmosphere. Our large family enjoyed the humble lakeside access and nearby waterfall.

We loved the cabin and can't wait to return. Everything was in great working order and squicky clean. Our stay was an absolute pleasure.

Meredith was a fantastic host and super flexible and responsive when it came to scheduling. Me and a few of the guys I served with in the army booked here for our annual ice fishing trip that we do to stay in touch. The first day we had booked we requested an early check in but due to Inclimate weather and most of us work doing snow removal she offered to let us have a late check out and extra night which for us was incredibly generous and we are very grateful for the opportunity. The air bnb was cozy but still modern which was a great feel. I highly recommend booking here if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with great water views and pretty good fishing.

We had the most amazing time! It was so relaxing and a beautiful cabin at a great location. We love how secluded and private it was. Even better that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog! He got to swim while we kayaked. Felt right at home, thank you again Brandi for opening your home up to us!

Great Weekend. Kayaking was great, hiking, campfires, everything you’d want for a getaway.

Cabin was perfect for me and my wife’s mini-honeymoon. Cozy, clean, and nice and quiet to unwind. Staff were super helpful, especially when my wife had trouble getting wifi access to do some schoolwork - they got it taken care of right away. Fully recommend and would visit again.

This cabin was an amazing place for a little winter getaway. Mike was super helpful with troubleshoot a frosty pipe on a cold afternoon and at the same time had great recommendations for hikes and food in the area. The cabin had everything we needed, was absolutely beautiful, and had the right level of quirky charm to make us feel right at home for the week. Our dogs also absolutely loved the place and the surrounding woods to romp and play around in.
