Cabin vacation rentals in Greene County

If you're looking for a place to get away and unwind, this is the place. No local traffic, no background noises at all beside birds, squirrels, whitetails and fox. The cabin was super clean and extremely well thought out and stocked with all youll need. Everything was very clean, well marked, literature available for the local area, a private entrance to the river, simply perfect! My wife and I came here (along with two other properties) for our 1 year anniversary and we just didn't want to leave. Awesome little place to stay!

This place was exactly like describe and pristine. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We even experienced a perfect snow flurry in the awesome hot tub. The projector was fun for watching movies and the addition was something out of a fancy ski resort. Would definitely stay here again!

Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

Amazing stay at Joseph's cabin – everything was perfect from A to Z! Terrific spot with easy access to Charlottesville and Shenandoah. Only thing is you won’t want to leave the cabin because there’s so much to enjoy between the movie room, game room, fire place, hot tub, and beautiful woods. Very cool furnishings as well. Loved it!

Everything about our stay, the cabin, and the overall experience was elevated. James and Don's attention to detail left nothing to be desired. My family (2 parents, sister and brother-in-law, and 2 dogs) enjoyed Thanksgiving week at Naked Creek and had a fabulous time. We enjoyed the amenities, games, hot tub, out door fire pit, and the dogs loved the dog treats that were provided. Excellent location, close to Shenandoah National Park and the town of Elkton. Hosts were always available and quick to respond.

Such a relaxing stay! The cabin was spotlessly clean and views were beautiful. The fireplace and hot tub were a great touch and we had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to go back!

Exceeded my expectations! The cabin was so peaceful. It’s ideal if you’re wanting the real rustic cabin feel. No lights out at night, just the stars — it was a beautiful view from the porch. The host and team are really friendly and communicative! The cabin has board games, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of fire wood for the furnace or fire pit just outside the cabin. The ranch has some trails nearby too! We really enjoyed the skeet shooting and horse trail ride! A must-do if you’re staying! We’ll definitely be back!

Christopher was a wonderful host. Liberty Lodge was even better than the pictures, We got there on a Wednesday and did not leave, except for groceries, until Saturday. There is hiking trails, cowboy fire pit, games in the game room and just relaxing. We went in late October and the colors were beautiful. The views from the cabin are awesome. Also, the cabin is well stocked with everything you need.

This was our second stay here. Love the location and privacy. The fully fenced in yard is awesome.

had a great time! Definitely listen to the host advice and I'd own a truck as getting up the mountain can be difficult. I had an accident where my dog ended up destroying the blinds and the host was super nice and understanding about it! it's a cute little place. We grilled and there's a TV in every room. all necessary kitchen amenities. it's just difficult to get to but if you have a truck you'll be fine. it's so beautiful and peaceful up there. :)

The home is adorable, not totally secluded but off a quiet road in a neighborhood, and well enough surrounded by woods that you don’t really sense the neighbors. Much to my preference over Massanutten for example. A beautiful spot for reading on the porch and enjoying the smell of the woods. Jessie is a thoughtful and responsive host and it shows in the little amenities like the extra toothbrushes and toothpaste (which saved my life!) and the basics (like coffee and snacks) awaiting you in the kitchen. It’s also really conveniently located to the park entrance and not far from some great wineries (we loved Montifalco!) and some of the (very few) places to grab food or things like coffee in the area. My friend’s little Mazda struggled a bit on the last stretch of road and the rather rugged uphill gravel driveway, but that’s the only thing to be an aware of.

Everything was as expected everything was clean and the hot tub a lot less hassle than I thought it would be. Would recommend

We really enjoyed the home and it was perfect for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds and there was enough space for everyone to spread out. There is a bit of a bee problem on the mountain but we managed it OK.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Tina’s cabin for our weekend trip to the National Park. Tina was lovely and super responsive and gave us great recommendations for food/drink in the area. Highly recommend the stay!

It is a beautiful gem in the woods! We had a great stay and enjoyed the nature, fire place inside and outside, BBQ and whirlpool. Such a cute, comfortable and lovely place. Would go again any time! Just one recommendation, it is getting cold in the fall/winter at night so if you are freezing easily, I would recommend to bring extra warm sheets from home :)

The place is cozy and feels home. We really enjoy the forest cabin night with friends.

Dancing Bear cabin was a wonderful retreat for a quiet escape for my husband and I! The view was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire place! We would love to come back again and bring friends or family!

This is a great little cabin in a beautiful location! We enjoyed the fall colors from the private balcony and hot tub, saw deer walking down the nearby stream and enjoyed the seclusion. Great shower upstairs with the bathtub downstairs. Wonderful fireplace, peaceful location with awesome views on the drive up. We would stay here again without hesitation!
