Vacation rentals with a patio in Greene County

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Erin has created a lovely apartment in the bottom level of her home which, due to the slope, is level with the back yard. The linens and bedding were fresh and clean, and the kitchen area lovely to prepare food in. We spent time at the dining table and on the couch watching a movie. It's a very homey environment with hallway hooks to hang hats and coats! If you are a light sleeper, you may want a white noise machine or ear plugs, as there are chickens in the yard adjacent to the bedroom window. They have all kinds of opinions to cluck about in the early mornings! Thank you, Erin, we hope to stay again on future visits to Cville.

We had a great stay at Isabella's basement apartment. The space was comfortable and perfect for staying near the campus of JMU. Will plan to stay again!

Good Airbnb for being close to Shenandoah. We visited over thanksgiving, so it was a little cold and we weren’t able to enjoy the river, but very beautiful area and the open area across from the home was a nice touch, especially with dogs. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Amy’s place was wonderful! The home was so clean and perfect for our visit to Broadway. Would absolutely stay here again!

Paula’s place is very nicely appointed, there is a beautiful view from the deck. The house is very clean and the beds and furniture comfortable. Paula was always very responsive to messages which I really appreciated. We crossed paths in front of the house and Paula is very friendly in person. I also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the house is, very tranquil neighborhood. I don’t hesitate to recommend this place, or Paula’s hospitality. When we get back to Harrisonburg we’ll definitely stay here again!

Kalin is a great host who was proactive and really made sure that our stay was going well. We liked the studio a lot. It was spacious and very nicely decorated with seasonal touches, which made it extra cozy. Also the bed was super comfortable and the sheets were very soft. We would definitely book with Kalin again!

Arthur and Michael's place was such a treat! Probably the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Even better than the pictures - it was such a peaceful, tranquil place in the woods with an amazing view. The house was equipped with unique and equisite amenities: from the heated flooring, to the rainshower wrapped in Virginia slate, to the awesome espresso machine, everything was so thoughtful and made our stay even better. They put a lot of love and care into this house and it truly shows. They did not skimp on anything! This helped make our anniversary weekend even more special. Getting up the driveway was a little challenging, so if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle, consider bringing it instead. We would love to return.

Beautiful location, quiet, clean space.

My sister and our families stayed at The Madelyn over Thanksgiving week. It was a perfect set up for us and had everything we needed. The kitchen was nicely equipped and there were thoughtful touches. The outdoor space was great for the girls and our dog. We loved walking around the peaceful neighborhood and had good access to hiking trails in Shenandoah. It was close enough to get to see family and sites from the Culpeper to Charlottesville area. Lisa was a phenomenal host and communicated proactively with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay at her home. She even left us a huge pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving! I expect to book with Lisa in the future when we're visiting VA!

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighbourhood. House very well equipped. Especially useful /thoughtful to have condiments, herbal teas, plenty of paper towels, toilet tissue, etc. Owen very responsive to questions before arrival. No issues while we were there.

Our stay at Lisa’s home was really enjoyable. We felt like we had enough room for our four adults, five kids, and two dogs. We loved being able to sit by the fire out under the stars and play games and do puzzles at the large kitchen table. The proximity to Shenandoah National Park was fantastic and we loved being able to get there so quickly. Elkton is also a great little town to explore! We highly recommend Lisa’s home.

The property was as described. Ron was very responsive. Very charming farmhouse.

A really terrific and cozy cabin surrounded by beautiful mountains. Inside boasts a well appointed kitchen and comfortable furnishings. You can tell that the host actually took the time to create a comfortable and inviting environment!

Great views, great home, great host. Came here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

The pictures and description don’t do this place justice! We so enjoyed our long weekend at Isaac’s condo. It was gorgeous, clean, had everything we needed, and in an unbeatable location. We hope to stay again in the future.

They provided us with a huge list of nearby activities and attractions, which made exploring the area so much easier and enjoyable.

BEST PLCAE TO STAY AT! The moment you enter the house just feels like you are at home. The detailing in the home is done fantastically and it's completely private. The morning view and birds chirping throughout the day is the best part. Not to forget, Gr is the sweetest host and she has put in so much efforts to make the stay a memorable one. 10/10 for the property, stay and the host.
