Historic Belmont House downtown - Queen Bedroom 2

PaytonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nancy’s place is a gem, and so is she. From local recommendations to friendly chats, she is a terrific AirBnB host. This is the place to stay if you’re coming into town for a concert at Ting Pavilion or want to be close to downtown.

Wakefield Ct | Private Parking spots | Fast WiFi

JoelyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great hosts that went above and beyond with amenities. The inclusion of some food items/misc supplies was something different than my experience with other Airbnbs. The house was clean, felt like home, and was a great fit for our family- who was traveling in town for a hectic wedding weekend with a 1yo. Hosts were responsive and flexible with check-in/check-out times, which was much appreciated as we were traveling for first time with a young child. The sunroom was beautiful, and a great addition for us to enjoy. Overall a great stay for the entire family!

LouisRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This space was as it appears on the pics and had a lot more things to do. The surrounding is beautiful and great for hiking. I loved every bit of it, from the beautiful dog to the nice chickens. This space has a lot to do and the host was good to me. Will definitely book again when I’m back that area. I recommend it.

Hawk Nest Farm. A solar powered mushroom farm.

CarlRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I stayed one night at Orv's as I was passing through. I tend to be introverted... perhaps he is too...can't speak for him. Our conversations were short, but friendly. Orv gave me a tour of his mushroom operation, and I learned some things I did not know about mushrooms in general. My room was clean, as was the bathroom. Orv even made some 'cookies' that were a very tastey, and reminded me of a healthy version of a whoopie pie. All in all I had a nice stay at Orv's. And you can't beat the price!

Rosemary's Nest LLC

EdwardRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

2 bedroom Condo in UVA and JPJ area

AdamRating, 5 stars24 months ago
For a visit to UVA (for orientation, graduation, or ...), Penny's place is a great match (if you are walkers like my family). 1. Extremely peaceful, looking out at trees w/birds chirping away w/o a hint of road noise. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the terrace. 2. Convenient ... <10 minutes walk to a big shopping center and <30 minutes to center of UVA campus. 3. You're visiting someone's home (fully equipped kitchen, lots of plants due to Penny's evident green thumb) w/many thoughtful items to make the stay easier/more enjoyable (fruit, coffee/tea, snacks, breakfast foods, lots (LOTS) of towels, etc ...) Penny, in communication, undersold her home -- yes, it is an older (not renovated) place (not the Ritz Carlton) -- but it made for a very comfortable base for graduation weekend events. NOTE: Be aware that there is no WiFi.

Two Bedroom Two Bathroom Massanutten Resort Stay

MoniqueRating, 5 stars26 months ago
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Massanutten. The surroundings were nice and clean. The condo we rented from Brenda was spacious, clean and felt like home. We had a 2 bedroom/2bath condo with fireplace, LVP flooring, sectional sofa and balcony with a great views of the mountains and golf course. Everything we need to make meals was available in the condo and grocery stores were just a 10 min drive away. We purchased tickets for the water park and adventure park which had lots to do. We will definitely plan to go back again during the summer months.

Fabulous Terrace Level Apartment In City

MehrdadRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were in Charlottesville for my daughter's graduation. Because of the number of folks in our group, we booked both upstairs and downstairs units, but I would say the same thing (provide the same review), if we had only booked one of the units. Lisa's home was a perfect place to spent this very special time for our family. It is a very beautiful home, charming and cozy. Both units provide wonderful living space, bedrooms, patio, porch, and kitchen all very nicely decorated with all the amenities one could possibly need. We felt absolutely at home. To top it all, Lisa was a very gracious host. She greeted us on arrival, gave us a complete tour of the house and went over all the details that we needed to know. She was responsive and genuinely concerned and interested in making sure that our stay was as great as it could possibly be. Highly recommended.

Holler Suite - Cider House Bed and Breakfast

JasonRating, 5 stars55 months ago
Melinda is a tremendous host. We were only in town for one evening and our stay exceeded all expectations. Our room was quiet and clean. We were met with soft baked brownies upon entering. Who does that?! Breakfast was a delight consisting of locally sourced ingredients. It should also be noted that only one couple was scheduled for breakfast at a time. Adherence to sound covid protocols and as very much appreciated. We look forward to coming back.

What a dream of a place this is, we wish we were staying a week instead of a day. The breakfast was warming and delicious. I cannot explain the decor and setup , except to say- the room was like it came from HGTV and the whole place had all the bells and whistles

Hollymead House Bed & Breakfast Room #3

AdamRating, 5 stars38 months ago
We stayed in room #3. It was nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy and we slept great. Fresh flowers were in our room when we got in which was a nice touch. Our room had 2 robes in the closet along with plenty of hangars. Room also had a dresser. No TV is in the bedroom (which we did not miss) but there was a TV in the main house which could be used. The B&B is located within 20 minutes of downtown CVille, Monticello, hiking and our favorite, Snugglebutts Farm. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about the area. There are a lot of things to look at inside the home which they have a vast knowledge of the history of the items. The breakfast was simple but fantastic. Granola, yogurt, fresh berries, croissants and/or muffins. The coffee was great. They also had a selection of Teas.
