Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Greene County

I didn’t actually check into this condo. I’m leaving a review because Airbnb and Massanutten worked together well to assist me with my cancelation. Situations like that can get sticky, but they did a great job and I felt like Massanutten deserved the 5 star review.

It was really great for our family to get away for a few days over Thanksgiving! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the suite was cozy. Overall we enjoyed the flexibility of having a few different rooms, being able to cook (as much as we needed/wanted to), and the fact that the earth room doesn't have windows allowed us to sleep in late. As far as amenities, the tub pretty amazing. I also really enjoyed peeking at some of the crafting books on the bookshelves - the cowgirl room in particular has a workshop feel that I enjoyed! Really grateful we were able to go on this trip - thank you!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Massanutten. The surroundings were nice and clean. The condo we rented from Brenda was spacious, clean and felt like home. We had a 2 bedroom/2bath condo with fireplace, LVP flooring, sectional sofa and balcony with a great views of the mountains and golf course. Everything we need to make meals was available in the condo and grocery stores were just a 10 min drive away. We purchased tickets for the water park and adventure park which had lots to do. We will definitely plan to go back again during the summer months.

We had a very nice stay at Massanutten. Check in and check out procedures were simple and easy to follow. We loved seeing the wildlife.

This was our second time staying around Susan’s place, which should indicate how much we liked it the first time around! Her home is the perfect location to spend a weekend in lovely Sperryville — it’s a cozy, well-kept apartment with a great deck and walking distance to so many wonderful spots. Susan responded within *minutes* when there was one item we needed during our stay. We’d love to come back a third and fourth time!

Very nice place! Lots of space, very clean and quiet.

Andy managed my questions leading up to our trip well and helped us upgrade to a full kitchen condo. I wish she could help with the resort maintenance and housekeeping, they weren’t responsive, and we had to wait 3-4 days for fixes (minor stuff) and missing toiletries.

We had a lovely stay at Lili's place. It was very peaceful! We would definitely book again if we were in the area. Lili was very responsive to any questions we had.

Very nice clean quiet enjoyable service was also great. View was right in front of the tennis court and I will look in the mountains and trees will be back soon. Thank you, Gregory.

This was a wonderful place for our family of 8, after traveling from Missouri to Virginia Great activities and layout. Shelby was very helpful to make sure we had space and handicap accessible area. Will use them again in the future

Great place to stay! Daniel was very responsive, communicative, and friendly. Family friendly spot with access to amenities of the resort. We did have a small issue with bugs but it wasn’t too bad and Daniel was responsive of who to speak to for resolution.

Beautiful location and amenities. Kids loved the arcade and indoor pool!

Very nice, like new place. Had everything we needed (and extra of everything) for a long stay. Very well organized. Comfortable living spaces and beds. Uncluttered. Not much to say for the yard or neighborhood (it is the nicest place for about 5 streets around it), just kind of there (safe just not exciting). But the location is close to UVA and downtown Charlottesville which made hopping into town quite easy.

We stayed at Kristin’s home for a Thanksgiving get away. The home was exactly as listed, cozy and comfortable! The side yard and fenced in deck were very convenient for our dog. The kitchen was very well stocked, and Kristin even ordered a griddle for us when I inquired about one before our stay. Kristin was responsive to our needs and questions and even surprised us by decorating the house for the holidays. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Loretta's home in Luray! It is so calm and quiet there, just what we were looking for. We were impressed by how cozy and well-appointed everything is, as well as the location -- so close to Luray Caverns, just perfect. Additionally, grocery shopping is only a five minute drive away, but the home feels like it's miles from anywhere -- could not be better! The mountain views are unbeatable, and watching the cows grazing across the road each morning was fun. Loretta is great at communicating and shared all the details we needed plus recommendations for the local area. We had a wonderful time!

We had a great stay. Was a very nice home to stay in with our pup while visiting our daughter. Margaret was very friendly and quick to respond with a late booking. My husband said it felt like his grandma’s house. There are several outdoor spaces to enjoy and a nice sunroom where we spent a lot of time. Would stay again when visiting the area especially since our dog is welcome too.

Beautiful setting in an historic home built over 100 years ago. This place is HUGE and initially some of my guests were taken back by its size. A house of this age and size comes with its quirks. Any minor issue was quickly addressed by the host, including providing us with a smart TV in order for us to watch the World Series. The grounds are well maintained and the horses are beautiful. If you are looking for a house to accommodate a large party this is the place for you.

You know when you read the reviews and they say "exceeded expectations" so you're expectations are really high? Well, this was one of those homes and somehow it still exceeded our expectations! It was bigger, homier and comfier than we expected. The well furnished kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners at home. Great layout to play family games while watching the World Series. All of the beds were comfortable and it was the perfect placec to come home to after a long day. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Charlottesville, this is it!! Thanks for everything - we'll be back!

Hannah’s home was comfortable and cozy. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Hannah was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! She took us in immediately when we had an emergency with our own home and made the process as seamless as can be. We cannot recommend her home enough!
