Great stay in an extremely well-organized spacious and clean place in a very peaceful location among several farms (quite dark at night for excellent star-gazing)…yet only minutes from numerous restaurants and stores, and a half-hour to a Shenandoah Nat’l Park entrance and the Appalachian Trail. Adam and Lynn were super friendly, responsive and overall superb communicators (very helpful and much appreciated!). The gift donuts and wine were a beautiful touch. Very highly recommend this cabin and Lynn and Adam as hosts!

We enjoyed another stay at the House in the Holla, which was the perfect home base for our days spent hiking in Shenandoah National Park (the house is just a short drive from the Swift Run Gap entrance station). As we have during previous stays we especially enjoyed sitting by the creek with our coffee in the mornings and sitting around the fire pit at night. Our pup loved having the yard to explore. The house was equipped with everything we needed.

My friends and I only stayed one night after a long day of hiking at Old Rag. It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind in this cute and comfortable space. It was equipped with coffee, tea and snacks - and the sauna was an extra bonus for our sore muscles! We would love to visit again to enjoy the beautiful surroundings more.

Super enjoyed our stay! We had a much needed time to relax and slow down. The kids enjoyed the amenities a lot! (Especially the kids at heart haha) House was a little hard to find since we checked in late and its super dark in the area obviously haha! But that wasn’t an issue. One thing tho, I wish they labeled the switches cuz we don’t know half of what they turned on.

Great location, near Shenandoah NP. Lovely setting and spacious home for our weekend with friends. Michele was super helpful and responsive.

This house looks exactly as pictured; comfortable and clean and modern. Beds were very comfortable, lots of amenities (extra towels/sheets/blankets, snacks and coffee, etc). Great value for a 3 bed/2 bath private family home. We were in town for a wedding so didn’t get to explore local area much. We arrived at night and house was a bit difficult to find due to Apple Maps being incorrect, I let the host know and she responded immediately. Great stay and great value!

The house was very comfortable for our family gathering. This was really appreciated when the rain and fog kept us inside for much of the time instead of venturing out to explore Sky Line Drive as we had planned. Mike was very quick to respond with helpful suggestions when we encountered a hiccup with plumbing. Thank you, Mike!

We had a great stay. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed hikes around it. Alex greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour/history of the property. Very nice! Our kids and dogs fell in love with Louie. Louie showed us new areas to explore and always kept a watchful eye on us. (The big white dog) We stayed here over thanksgiving and would like to return during the summer to enjoy the water.

Taby's place is in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It is a great location to explore the Shenandoah Valley. Taby greeted us upon arrival, provided great recommendations about the local attractions, and was very responsive when we had questions. The place was a nice, ground-level studio with a comfortable bed, nice kitchen space and comfortable sitting area. We recommend Taby's place!

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Our family met here to celebrate an early Thanksgiving/Christmas. The house was extremely clean & organized, had everything we needed, and was so much bigger than the pictures. We had such a great stay and a relaxing time celebrating the holidays together. Thank you!

What a stunning little hideaway! Kim’s property is gorgeous, especially during the fall. We met her friendly kitty which my friend and I loved. The cottage was cozy and perfect for 2! There are a few stores about 7 min away which is nice. ~1 hr to Richmond. But very quiet, peaceful stay. Lots of land to walk around and Kim was responsive! Even got to meet some of the horses. There seemed to be lots of lady bugs inside but didn’t bother us much. This property is full of history, it is definitely aged but that’s what makes it unique! Will definitely stay again in another season!

My friends and I had an AMAZING time at their place. It was very clean and had lots of amenities. Mary and Chris were also very communicative, which was highly appreciated.

We couldn’t ask for a nicer stay. Jill is probably the most laid back host I have ever met. She gives you total privacy in your stay. I have adopted her 2 goats. We love visiting with them daily. And to sit and watch her donkey with his best friend a cow is hysterical. They run together and wrestle like two dogs. I am definitely a city girl but have loved the farm. So relaxing for both of us. Definitely a place to come back too.

My friends and I just stayed at this cabin for 4 days and we absolutely loved everything about this awesome place! There was 6 grown men reuniting and there was plenty of room for each of us. This place is really, really nice! I highly recommend it. We went to Thirstys cheeseburgers and had some cold beer and the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day. Thanks for everything! We will be back here soon hopefully!!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The house was great and the view was phenomenal. We loved the hot tub and being able to watch the stars come out from the hot tub. The river view is gorgeous. The grandson of the owner even went into the muddy part of the river to retrieve my niece’s croc when she ran into the mud and got it stuck. They were very informative and super quick to respond. We have a wonderful time.

Jeff was an awesome host. He was very helpful and friendly, gave me a ton of recommendations for the area. He was also very responsive with any issues I had. The apartment is located right downtown, there’s restaurants, shops, and a brewery just steps away. Great antique/vintage stores, and very friendly people. The apartment is really cool, it is the upstairs of a very old building, with shops below. The space is very large, all hardwood, and Jeff provided tons of blankets, towels, etc. I love the claw foot tub! Upstairs was converted from old offices, so the apartment technically has 3 doors (one in each room) to access the hallway. The door in the middle room has a deadbolt lock, unfortunately it locked behind me and I had to wake Jeff up at 7am (sorry Jeff) 😬 I wouldn’t use this door or you might accidentally get locked out and have to harass your host Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Good Airbnb for being close to Shenandoah. We visited over thanksgiving, so it was a little cold and we weren’t able to enjoy the river, but very beautiful area and the open area across from the home was a nice touch, especially with dogs. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighbourhood. House very well equipped. Especially useful /thoughtful to have condiments, herbal teas, plenty of paper towels, toilet tissue, etc. Owen very responsive to questions before arrival. No issues while we were there.

The farm house is a beautiful, quiet property close to the national park, Luray Caverns, and the charming downtown of Elkton. Our family of six adults, one toddler and two pups were very comfortable inside and out. There is a lot of space to roam and explore. The slide was a huge hit and we had a fire at the pit close to the house which was well stocked with wood and starters. Inside the kitchen and dining spaces are wide and accommodated all of us. There was plenty of seating options for our toddler too. We made most meals in the kitchen and had all we needed. Bedrooms worked well for our group too and had enough linens for everyone.

My friends and I had an amazing weekend getaway at Gary’s place. My only regret is that our trip wasn’t longer! We will definitely be coming back.

Loved the cabin, was very peaceful and secluded. Couple that lives upstairs are super friendly but respect your privacy.
