Campsite vacation rentals in Chattahoochee River

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

This spot was extremely convenient and cozy if you don’t mind smaller spaces. I had everything I needed, and despite some minor inconveniences of utilities, Shelby was super helpful and had everything taken care of for me. Would absolutely stay here again!

This place was absolutely amazing! My best friend and I wanted to stay closer to a festival this year and I am so happy we chose to stay here! It was very nice, and comfortable for us two! Most places now have very strict rules, but these rules were very reasonable and respectful. It was location in a very safe area with a beautiful view of the lake. The only thing that was not the best was the pull out couch(mainly because we are pretty tall women) but what pull out couch is 5 stars any way!🤣 We both said we would 100 % stay here again no doubt! We had the absolute best fall weekend at "the Kayaker." We are already planning next fall. The tent had every amenity you could want and was so cozy (I brought a stack of blankets and never needed them)! The bed was so very comfortable. The lodge was much nicer than we anticipated and I don't think I've ever seen a campground bathhouse SO nice! We loved how private our glamping tent was but how easy it was to walk everywhere else. One night it drizzled and it was just so cozy inside our tent to play a game by lamplight with the little propane heater on. The fall colors were spot on and we were nice and close to hiking and mountain biking as well as an apple orchard, Wineries, breweries and shops! Can't ask for anything more!

Had a fantastic stay! The converted vintage school bus was unique and cozy, with a separate building that included all the necessary amenities. Both the spacious covered patio and the fire pit areas were perfect for relaxing and chill time. The peaceful, woodsy neighborhood made for a truly tranquil experience. Highly recommend!

This was such a great experience for my family! Absolutely beautiful location, everything was clean, the communication was great, and even in mid July the tents with the mini-split A/C was comfortable. Overall 10/10.

Very nice get away, easy to find and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly ! Very quiet and secluded, perfect for a weekend getaway!

It was an amazing night in the micro camper. I took a shower in the morning when there was still a chill in the air and I loved seeing nature all around me. The micro camper was nice and snug but not too small, and I absolutely loved spending time with Roxanne and Glenn.

The location is right on Lake Wedowee with stunning views, especially Sunrise and sunset. The camper was super clean and the deck was superb. Alan and Cathy were great! I will DEFINITELY stay here next time as well.

power in the neighborhood went out twice, and they were right there bringing me propane and heaters. can't say enough good about krystin and ryan, they were spectacular hosts. shame i did not make use of their hot tub and other amenities, but really enjoyed the outdoor heater for when it got chilly. wonderful property by the lake, complete with cow, horse, and chickens. just fabulous.

The camper was so fun! It’s very quaint and cozy and we definitely felt like we were on a vacation. The farm is absolutely stunning! It was so fun to watch the donkeys, goats and mini horses every morning as they went in and out of their barn. Our dog felt very comfortable on the farm as well. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions that we may have. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time! We stayed in Disco Daze & our friends stayed next door in the Flamingle. We had dinner, watched a movie from the front porch, & enjoyed time together. This was a fun night & a great stay. We love the Tiger drive-in.

Our boys had a tournament in the area so we booked Eric’s place. They were very pleased with everything. They really enjoyed visiting with him. Very friendly and made sure they had everything they needed. If they ever have another tournament in the area hopefully we can book Eric’s place. Also, if we are in the area needing a place to stay hopefully it is available. Thank you so much for the hospitality that was shown to our crew.

Debbie and Dan are incredibly responsive, even proactively to make sure everything is perfect during your stay. Appreciate having the lights on and adjusting the thermostat ahead of our stay. So much attention to detail to make sure you have a great stay not only at the glamper but also in Greer/Greenville. We truly felt welcomed start to finish. Would definitely return for another stay.

Rhonda has been the best host I had in more than 5 years, she accommodated us with every request we had and gave us recommendations for places around that were amazing. Getting carrots for the deer is a must do if you have kids (she told us ahead of time). My kids still talks about it. Overall, a great place to stay and experience the campers life in the woods.

Steven was a great house very nice always answer in a timely manner if we had any questions. We got rerouted along the way and got lost. Steven and his partner helped us get back on track and make it so where we needed to be. Anything we needed help with why we were there Steven it was right on it. Me and my family definitely enjoyed it. Thank you Steven for a great stay. We will definitely come again. Thank You

NOT a review for the Cozy RV, but a review for the Cozy Cabin. We originally booked the Cozy RV, however it was having some issues so Heather upgraded us to the Cozy Cabin! The Cozy Cabin had an issue with heating. Heather remedied the situation very quickly! The cabin is just that, very cozy! We enjoyed having coffee on the porch and watching nature. Heather and Brian are very good hosts, have great communication skills as well as problem solving skills.

We Loved the camper! Woke up to clean crisp air. Restaurants are only 2 miles away. The furnace and fireplace are plenty of heat. We were able to relax, cook, and sleep. Definitely want to return.

Rhonda is a great host. The location is absolutely beautiful very well kept up the RV is very tidy and clean and smells nice. I felt like home. Very peaceful had everything I needed was available. I cannot wait to stay again. The lake in the morning and in the evenings were so pretty. Rhonda is very responsive if needed. I can’t say enough. I love every minute thank you for letting us stay.
