Cozy, Quiet Carriage House With a Wood-Burning Fire Pit

Built in 1927, the interior of the carriage house showcases a harmonious mix of antiques and modern pieces which are arranged on bleached original hardwood floors. Snuggle up in the evenings and read by a decorative stone fireplace. Our light-filled, two-bedroom, one bath carriage house is located in Morningside, one of intown Atlanta’s most prized locations and is available for you to enjoy the best of Atlanta. Private and secluded, the newly furbished and hardwood-floored home offers approximately 900 square feet of comfortable living just steps from Piedmont Park, The Botanical Gardens, the Beltline and lots of shopping, dining and entertainment options . The two bedrooms feature queen beds and a pull out sofa In the living room creates a comfortable arrangement for up to six guests. The full, updated and compact kitchen is fitted with Bosch appliances, a sizable pantry and has all that one might require to prepare a special meal to enjoy in the spacious and separate dining room. A private screened-in porch overlooks a large shaded garden, babbling goldfish pond and hundred-year-old oak trees. Together, with our Midtown skyline views and walking access to so many amenities associated with urban Atlanta living, this home truly offers a rare oasis from which one may enjoy the best of our wonderful and vibrant city. Our home can truly be enjoyed without a car, a rarity in Atlanta, but there’s plenty of on-street parking available should it be required. We’re located just steps from the closest MARTA bus stop and 1.5 miles from the Arts Center MARTA station. Ansley Mall offers Publix and Kroger supermarkets as well and all sorts of retail and dining options and is just a two-minute walk from our front door. But if you must have Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods or Sprouts, all are within walking distance or if you’d like, hop on one of our Dutch-designed bikes and get just about anywhere in a matter of a few short minutes. The Beltline is accessed from the north extension of Piedmont Park via a dedicated and safe street crossing just off the corner of our street. From there you’ll have quick access to Ponce City Market, Virginia Highlands, Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park. Uber rides are plentiful and readily available and 20 minutes and $20 gets you to/from the airport, fares of $5-$10 will get you just about anywhere intown or downtown from our central location. The carriage house was originally constructed in 1927 and lies tucked behind our main house on the high side of a private, yet very accessible street. A short walk up our driveway brings you to a stone staircase that provides entry to the the screened-in porch and front door to the cottage. There are twelve steps, so this might not be the best place if you have trouble getting around. A back door to the house opens directly to a small patio for your private use. The shared, flat, landscaped back yard is shaded by a 150-200 year-old giant oak tree (this tree witnessed the Civil War up and close!) and features a large fire pit with plenty of seating that you are welcome to use with prior arrangement. The setting becomes quite special on cool fall and winter evenings when the vantage point provides clear views of the Midtown skyline. Towards the front of the carriage house there's an additional tiered, level area with a small goldfish pond and a huge outdoor dining table that seats 16. The table is constructed of two antique barn doors that we brought back from Spain years ago and provides a magic setting for a big family or special meal or a nice place to spread out the paper for morning coffee. The table is yours to use but please let us know if you're planning something special as we dine there as well. The carriage house sits on a two car garage, so if you need to store bikes, strollers, etc., there's plenty of room. In general, the entire back yard is yours to enjoy and we hope you do! We live in the main house, so we're just a knock on the door away to assist you with making the most of your stay. We've been in the area for a long time and are avid and adventurous travelers ourselves, so we're ready to help with any of your questions. The house is in the prized Morningside area, on a shaded pedestrian-friendly street. Stroll to supermarkets, restaurants, and nightlife. A park and playground are on the street, and Piedmont Park, Botanical Gardens, and the Beltline are nearby. A car is not necessary to stay here, but if you must, we are very convenient to I-75/85 and have plenty of on-street, free parking. The Arts Center MARTA train station is 1.5 miles away - a 20 minute walk or $5 uber ride. A MARTA bus stop is located just down the end of our street. We're 20 minutes from the airport by car (about a $20 uber fare). Via train, just take any train from the airport to Arts Center Station. Please use our bikes to explore the area! We brought them back from Amsterdam and they are much happier when they're out rolling through the Beltline and the Park! Locks and helmets are available as well, just please return everything in the same condition in which they left.

Newly constructed this Charleston style house offers guests a private bedroom and access to hallway bathroom with shower/ tub combo (devoted to the Airbnb room). Designed with your comfort in mind room is outfitted with a pillow top queen mattress, two-night stands, full-length mirror, secured wifi for your use (code provided upon arrival) and ample storage options for personal items. The calming color palette paired with culturally infused decor gives the classic structure a personal touch and is reflective throughout our home. Living room welcomes you with vibrant natural-light, open floor plan, and 10' vaulted ceilings. Our porches, fire pit, and garden offer outdoor seating and areas of reflection. Guests will have access to kitchen for coffee and tea preparation, living, dining, deck and front porch. Fresh linens, towels, and personal care products provided at the beginning of each stay. You also have an option to send you clothes for wash + fold service. We do live in the house and are available to offer recommendations for the surrounding neighborhoods. We can interact as much or as little as you like. As retirees with active lifestyles who recently relocated from New York, my husband and I are enjoying the process of learning about this historic community and look forward to sharing some of our experiences with our guests. Tucked away on a quiet street, the home is close to East Atlanta Village and downtown Decatur, and steps from East Lake Golf Club. It’s a short drive to local restaurants, boutiques, and live music venues. Bus route 34 is within walking distance. Our home is conveniently accessible by public transportation. Marta (East Lake Station) is 2.1 miles away, and Bus Route 34 is within walking distance. Marta directly connects from Hartfield International Airport and is a viable mode of transportation to get around the city. If you are planning a stay in Atlanta without a rental Lyft and other ridesharing options are highly recommended. Street parking is free if you have a vehicle. Early check-in is an additional $10. We have two very small, clean and friendly dogs that are usually more interested in following us around the house then our guests. They are not allowed in your room but always open to receiving a good belly rub in the common areas. We are a smoke-friendly property for your convenience and because one host is a daily smoker and limits intake to designated areas as to not affect the stay of any of our guests.

Parquet floors lead from an open-plan living area to a quiet bedroom. Located in the historic Peachtree Towers. The building is known for its insulation so you almost never hear you neighbors. Everything is updated and clean from floor to ceiling. Fully equipped kitchen. Top of the line queen mattress and bedding included for your comfort. You will love the versatility of this space. Living space is perfect for business meetings or you can convert the high end sofa bed to accommodate 4 guests comfortably. Sparkling bathroom. 50 inch TV with Roku and wireless internet. You cannot get more downtown than this location. 5 minute walk to the Peachtree center MARTA train station which is a 15 minute ride directly to the airport. Less than a 10 minute walk to - America's Mart - Phillips Arena - World Conference Center - Mercedes-Benz Stadium - Centennial Park - Coca-Cola Museum - Georgia Aquarium - less than 1 block to restaurants and convenience stores. I meticulously renovated and decorated this place. I tried to think of every thing possible for comfort. Little details, like an outlet on the night stand, have not been missed.. You have access to the entire condo. The space is entirely yours so make yourself at home. Laundry is on the bottom floor of the building. Check in is extremely easy. There is a 24 hours concierge available to check you in and direct you to the room. Keyless entry to the unit. Key fabs available in order to freely enter and exit the building after check in. I am always contactable for anything you need, please use the airbnb app for messages to guarantee delivery. The condo is in the downtown Hotel District, walking distance to Falcons and Hawks games. The World of Coca-Cola, Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium, Georgia State University, and CNN are also in the neighborhood. 2 MARTA stations are close by. Surface parking lot right next to the building and a parking deck a block away. Note: Parking fees are not included with the rental and are paid separately. Uber is always less than 5 minutes away and very reasonable on price. Other Notes: I have shampoo, conditioner and body wash available. I welcome all! Come and stay at "The B Unit".

Please use the handrail leading to the house due to uneven/level steps and accompany children Guest will have own private space. Hosts lives in lower unit and will be available as needed to help facilitate stay. With 25 different arts and cultural venues, more than 30 permanent performing arts groups, and 22 various entertainment facilities, Midtown features the largest concentration of arts facilities and organizations in the Southeast. All options available here. Close proximity to many attractions and Piedmont Park, makes walking a viable option. Street parking available with residential parking pass. Marta Midtown Transit station is a 12-15 minute walk. Uber is a common travel method. But our favorite mode is a bicycle ride to Piedmont Park or the Atlanta Beltline Trail. MLB on Roku and NFL Ticket on Direct TV included!

Look across the leafy courtyard from the sun room of a landmark building in Atlanta. Built in 1907 by the famed Southern architect G.L. Norman, this restored apartment boasts eclectic accents such as stained-glass windows and original hardwood floors. This unit is on the first floor level, with an expansive sunroom overlooking the courtyard on historic Ponce De Leon Avenue. Please note that this is an urban setting. The building has been restored with new windows, doors and drywall, even so you will hear faint noises of the city. You will have access to your private unit on the first floor and gated parking for one car. Christina is always available by message should you need her. The apartment is in The Woodruff on Ponce that’s located near all things Atlanta. It’s a few blocks from Ponce City Market, the beltline, and Piedmont Park. Many well-known Atlanta eateries including Mary Mac's Tea Room, Bon Ton and Pappi's are close by. The Woodruff is on the bus line, close to two Marta Stations (Peachtree Center and Midtown Arts)and uber is always within 2 minutes. The city also has Bird and Lime scooters as well as motorized and non motorized bikes. If you are traveling with a car you will have one off street, gated assigned parking space. We can provide only one parking space per reservation. The building has a total of six units. Urban noises may be heard at times. Pets are considered, please ask before booking. You will be given a key fob to enter building and a electronic gate opener if you have a car. If either are lost there will be a $200 replacement fee.
