Our garage loft is a renovated and refurnished 900sf apartment. Clean, simple spaces and furnishings make for a relaxing getaway. We are in the Monte Vista Historic District, a 1-mile square walkable neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown and a 1.5 miles from the Pearl District. Our main house is a 1914 Prairie Style residence sheltered by the largest oak tree in San Antonio. We are happy to share our back yard, pool pavilion, and pool during our guests' stays.

There were 13 of us staying at this house. Four of them were from 2 to 4 years of age. The accommodations were outstanding for our group. Our little boys loved the living space and being able to play with their little cars on the floor with lots of room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic. We loved the modern showers, but still with a tub for the littles. Each family had just enough privacy throughout the house at night. There were four families staying there including 2 teenagers. I cannot think of anything that I would change. We enjoyed the pool several times a day and the lounge chairs were very comfortable. Thank you for sharing this house with us. If we come again, we will look up this house's availability again.

We planned for 14 people & ended up with 10. There would have been plenty of room! We loved this house!! We played games, went swimming & played tennis!! We grilled and used the kitchen! had plenty of supplies & they had everything we needed. I would for sure book this home again. We even stayed an extra night & didn't want to leave!

This home is gorgeous and looks even better in person than the photos. It’s peaceful and feels secluded even tho you are very close to anything you might need (Walmart, restaurants, HEB, gas station etc). Very beautiful house and fit 7 of us very comfortably.

The house was accurately described and looks exactly like the photos. Easy access to town and the highway. The kids loved the pool!! We were very pleased with our stay, and it was a clean, well-stocked, comfortable, home-away-from-home for our family!

Retreat on the River! Heated Pools & Hot Tubs

This is our second time staying at Matt & Nikki’s place and we enjoyed it almost just as much as the first time. The condo itself is so nice and Matt & Nikki do a great job adding a lot of aesthetic touches and conveniences that make us feel right at home. Also, with easy access to the water park, the river, pools, and great restaurants, the location makes this a perfect vacation spot. I do have to mention that our vehicle was towed to San Marcos during our stay, which was unfortunate… we put the parking permit away when we went out to dinner on our last evening and forgot to put it back up when we got back the condo. When we woke up in the morning, our vehicle was gone. However, Matt was very responsive (on a Sunday) and accommodating in giving us extra time on checkout day and helping me find the information to get it sorted out. Don’t let that scare you away though. All that is just to say, take Matt & Nikki’s warnings about keeping the parking pass visible at all times seriously!

My wife and I went to the pickle festival at the fairgrounds, and this location was perfect. Could walk to the fairgrounds and downtown is a 5 minute drive. The condo was homey, clean, and perfect for our weekend getaway. Carrie was very friendly and responsive, couldn't ask for a better host. Highly recommend.
