Had a great stay here! The space was perfect and the porch was beautiful and relaxing.

We had an excellent stay at the Fish House- right on the water with beautiful views and peaceful morning cups of coffee on the deck. Michelle was very responsive and provided great recommendations on everything from restaurants to kayaking spots. While the marina is a working business we did not find that it negatively impacted our stay and in fact it enhanced it since the employees there were very kind and courteous. We can't say enough about Michelle's hospitality- she has a true gift! We wanted to have direct access to abundant kayaking and this was for sure the spot to be. While we paddled the creek/inlet area we also found the Oyster Point paddling trail (just a few minutes down the road) to be a great excursion. We will be planning to return!

Loved our visit. So nice being on the lake, easy access to kayaks and fire pit right by the lake. Irene was very welcoming and let us do our thing and gave us a lot of space. The lake access was a huge selling point for the place. Would definitely return.

Mickey and his wife made us feel right at home. Nothing like sleeping with a piece of mind knowing that your belongings are safe and sound.

Anne's place was the perfect place for us to stay when we visited the area for our son's graduation in nearby Williamsburg. The backyard is beautiful and inviting--I wanted to move in the moment I saw it! I spent every spare minute out there, enjoying the beautiful view of the water. The walkout basement apartment is filled with light, spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. The beds and pillows were extra comfortable. The living room, kitchen, and 1/2 bath are in the center of the apartment, and on either side is a private suite with its own bedroom and bathroom. This was perfect for our group. Anne was kind and positive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Carla & Shannon’s place. Everything was neat and in order. The check in was super easy & flexible. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and walked around the town. They’re both very quick to reply back & we had a chance to talk with Shannon in person & she was super sweet.

Perfect weekend getaway! The space was clean, cozy, and just what we needed. We especially loved the proximity to the beach, restaurants, and bars nearby while still feeling like we were in a safe neighborhood right on the lake! Highly recommend for a weekend getaway for a couple!

Kim and Holmes were very accommodating. We decided to book same day for a wedding near their place. Great location! They were very responsive and helpful.

This house was absolutely gorgeous! It has everything you need ! It was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The view every morning was beautiful. We had so much fun and it was so peaceful. We will be back for sure

A great stay on the river. The kitchen was well equipped and the rest of the house was comfortable. The screened in porch and access to the dock/beach/river was our favorite part. Our dogs were in HEAVEN. The location is rather remote, so recommend bringing any food you'll want as there are no close stores or restaurants.

Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

Beautiful house I a peaceful location. The house had everything we needed and more. Stocked kitchen, movie theater room, fire pit and nice size dock with water toys. Stephanie was responsive and friendly throughout the rental process. Her house is a little out of the way but worth it for the peace and quiet in a beautiful location.

Really nice quiet place on the James River. Kitchen and living room/breakfast area served our family really well. The house is close to the Jamestown ferry which allowed us easy access to the historical sights of Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown and some great restaurants in Williamsburg. A great place.

My friends and I stayed at Hawk Nest this past weekend and it was amazing, such a awesome place to stay. Definitely will be back!

Wow, Samantha’s place was just the ticket for our stay at Virginia Beach! She has thought of everything and provides all the amenities imaginable. She even went above and beyond to respond and provide a special request of ours. The place is clean, has plenty of space for our family, and even had things we needed for our kids. All the beach toys and chairs are especially helpful!! The location is just 5 minutes from the beach and so much around the condo is walkable. Loved staying here and recommend for everyone.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet studio with great views. And this is it. Their home is located at the north end of the boardwalk. A tableau of ocean and sand greeted us as we entered the space. We sat on the balcony for hours taking in the sounds of the waves and the sea breezes. The bathroom was very clean and well-equipped. I'm a large man and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen and coffee area were stocked. The building was very quiet. And when I met other residents, they were friendly. My most restful vacation ever. Highly recommended. We are looking forward to our next stay at Rebecca and Sean's.

“Tranquility Cove” is a perfect description of our restful & relaxing stay that my husband & I enjoyed during Mother’s Day weekend. Mary Anne is an exceptional host who provided for all our comforts with every amenity that we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend at Smith Mountain Lake. The view of the sunrise over the lake & mountains along with the peaceful surroundings, access to the swimming pool & fitness center provided all that we needed for our dream-vacation-weekend. My husband & I have found our vacation destination at SML!

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.
