House vacation rentals in Virginia

Our stay at Anna's Biking Dog was perfect for our needs. Location was by Norwich Park and very close to the Greenway. Grandin and Wasena neighborhoods are close by. The house was very comfortable with all we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Space was perfect for us staying as a family of 6. Bedrooms were great and the home offered plenty of space throughout. Awesome backyard, although we did not really use - very close beach access. Had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend!

I was traveling for work in DC area and needed place close by. Really liked the place. I would love to go back if ever I need to stay close to DC.

This place was amazing! We gathered for a 70th birthday dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. The screened in patio was the perfect place to gather, have lots of laughs and make lots of memories. Thank you Jackie! Looking forward to next time!

Near downtown and lots of rooms and comfy couch

we enjoyed our stay! the home was cute, the location was great, and there were some nice touches to make us feel welcome. our host was always responsive and everything was intuitive.

We had the most wonderful weekend at Michael’s cabin! From the moment we arrived, I could tell how much care and thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with such thoughtful toiletries - a nice touch that made us feel right at home. The bed was also very comfortable, and we slept well each night. The cabin’s modern decor is beautiful and really elevated the whole experience - it felt cozy yet stylish. The location is beautiful: quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect escape, and we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and fresh air. Michael was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and friendly in his communication. We really appreciated the detailed online guide he provided for the cabin and the local area - it made everything so easy, from check-in to finding great spots nearby. Melanie was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Her place is very peaceful, cozy, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen, dining room, and living room is all open which we loved. We could all be together wherever we were. The beds were comfortable. We went for a beach vacation and we weren’t disappointed. The beaches we went to are so clean and beautiful. We would definitely stay at Melanie’s house again if we’re in the area.

A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

Lydia’s property is fantastic and is in the perfect location for anyone visiting a student at Liberty University. Lydia is extremely responsive, her home is spotless and she includes all amenities needed for your stay! I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the not so distant future!

Great place for a larger group!

Absolutely beautiful overlook to the water from the entire rear of the house. Huge deck with plenty of seating and things to do. The inside is very spacious and had plenty of room for our group. We would visit again in the future without hesitation!

This place was perfect for our family of 5, so much better than a cramped hotel room. The location was great as it was just a short walk to the beach and we appreciated all the beach gear that was provided (umbrella, wheelbarrow and plenty of chairs). Mark and Alison were very responsive to any questions I had and even provided local recommendations of activities and restaurants. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It just felt like home as soon as we walked in. We will definitely look to rent again if we ever return to VA beach.

Our stay was peaceful. Our first time for my wife and I along with our 15 year old daughter in Woodstock. The home is located around 3 other homes on open cow pasture land, but far enough to be very private. The kitchen was just remodeled and looks very nice along with new appliances. Inside was very clean and beds comfortable with memory foam mattresses. Internet was good enough to stream over TV in home. It was quiet at night, road you're on is private and very limited noise from vehicles on it day or night, although I did not see a speed limit sign so vehicles go any speed along that route. We didn't use the hot tub, pool(off season), grill or firepit(burning ban). We did use the ping pong table in garage and watched the TV in the area attached to it, very nice addition! It turned out very windy during our stay and with that it carried the highway traffic noise downwind which was worse at certain times outside, not inside. Other than that out stay was relaxing, visiting the area.

The place was great! Very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I stayed 5 nights so the two bathrooms were nice for her to have her privacy. The carport was awesome. Parking was right in front of the entry door so carrying in luggage etc was easy and out of the weather. The home is located on a quiet street in a safe area near stores and restaurants and about 15 minutes from the boardwalk. Our host recommended some really good places to get sea food. One place we went and ate twice during our stay (Chix). We would definitey stay again...highly recommend.

We cannot thank Star & Austin enough for opening up their beautiful home! Very easy to find, close to restaurants, activities and the beach. The home was immaculate. We will stay here again in the future.

I was in town for a family wedding. What a great home for us to be able to stay together. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing. Our host, Ned was great and left us plenty of notes and suggestions for things to do.

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Beautiful and serene weekend retreat. We felt so at home. Hosts spare no expense to ensure that quests are content. I will defenitly stay here again in the future.

Our kids had such a wonderful time! Between the game room, the hot tub, the fire pit and the huge field, they always had something to do. Our favorite part was the sunrise view from the bedrooms. Stunning!

My family enjoyed staying here for a fun weekend in Charlottesville. It was a quick, easy drive to Charlottesville and other local attractions. We traveled with our 8 month old baby and our in-laws and everyone felt right at home! The sun room was a perfect spot for family time. The hosts were mindful about having plenty of toiletries and snacks for guests. We definitely recommend staying here!

The name says it all! My week at Sandi’s place felt like a slice of heaven. Beautiful lot, peaceful, quiet, but also just a quick drive to anything you need or would want to see! Immaculately cleaned. Stocked with everything you need! I cooked nearly every meal and all the basics were there, which was great after long days on a job site. That covered porch is THE BOMB! Comfy, clean beds, too. Great wifi! Sandi is extremely response, so friendly, and any instructions were crystal clear! She put her heart and soul into this home & it shows! My dogs loved the little walking trail behind the house & napping on the porch! 110% will be back! Thank you Sandi!!

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you
