Had a great one night stay at the guest house. Highlights include the beautiful deck space overlooking the river, and a friendly dog that stopped by to say hello. Be prepared to be out of cell service and wifi May or may not work. Otherwise a very peaceful and well kept space!

A very unique and private place. It is located minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and several great hikes at Peaks of Otter. It is less than a 15-minute ride from Bedford, Virginia where you’ll find many antique shops and a variety of restaurants. Ask your host to sample some of the mead they produce. We had a great stay.

Another great stay. We stayed here last year and enjoyed the peaceful location and easy access to Virginia Tech to attend the football game. Dina is great and responsive to all questions and requests. Looking forward to coming back again next year.

My sister, Barb, and I had not seen each other in 2 years due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We live 500 miles apart and the last time I visited her and her husband, Charlie, was 23 October 2019 for her 70th Birthday. We met halfway at Wolf Creek Farm. Cindy and Gary made our reunion very special. Their hospitality, humor, firepit and roasted marshmallows, wonderful breakfast, critters, etc (I could write a book) were outstanding. Being on a farm is not for everybody, but most people will love it.

Beautiful grounds. Place was perfect for our 2 families to stay comfortably for 3 nights with plenty of room. Amenities were great.

Catherine is a great host. She is very responsive and full of knowledge of the area. The place is in the perfect location and we had the best seats in the house for the fireworks on the 4th of July! I will say is this isn’t like your typical suite. It is like 3 hotel rooms that are behind a locked door. But although it was different than what I expected it was great because it gave everyone their own space. That being said, I would definitely rent this place again. It was perfect for our family to be together, reconnect and make memories❤️

We loved our stay in the Anderson Room and enjoyed the amazing breakfast/coffee. My husband and I also loved having great conversation with tom. He shared some great insight about Williamsburg and you can see his love for the area. We definately will be back!

This is a unique property that has the size and flexibility to fit a fairly large, generational family. Each room, with its own bathroom is so convenient! And the large, common, eating area; with the "Cliff View" is spectacular. This is the second time our family has stayed here, and with some in Ohio, and some in VA, we will probably be back . Plus. We have runners, and the proximity to that epic trail along the Jackson is a real draw!

Our stay was perfect! Right in the middle of everything, it was convenient and ideal for us. It was very clean, and we both thought the bedding was very comfortable. Communication was amazing! We will definitely stay again in the area

First time staying at this resort location. Prime spot, easy access to. all amenities. Clean space, proactive responses, and engaging staff. Will stay here again for sure!

It was a pleasure to be back at TLK,it is an amazing beautiful, place. The Entire Farm has stunning views of the bay, easy access to walking trails ,where you can enjoy astounding sunsets & sunrises.The estate feature’s a tree lined drive way right out of a movie scene. There are several clean comfortable porches to lounge & relax. The dry sauna is excellent.The Honeymoon suite was perfect, clean& spacious with quality linens & very comfortable mattress. The spa lavatory is spacious& immaculate. The home has a quiet soothing Relaxing energy. The kitchen is Outstanding,breath -taking water views, various cozy areas to sit. MJ is a delightful gracious host .The special Blend LKR coffee is a tasty treat. Breakfast each morning was delicious with pleasant conversion. The home is exquisitely decorated. My daily yoga practice was elevated to another level. If you need to relax & recharge & exhale in a wonderful beautiful place Book The Laughing King Resort . Thank MJ …see you soon .

We had another wonderful stay at the Inn. This is our 3rd visit and we are looking forward to coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Club Wyndham, where I enjoyed a relaxing getaway for a couple of nights. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the unit was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a great stay. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Jorge in person, he was very responsive and ensured that my needs were met. I appreciated being able to do a load of laundry before my departure, which added to the overall convenience of my stay. Upon checking in, I was greeted by a receptionist and then directed to a concierge, who provided me with a room key and recommendations for the local area. However, I was also invited to attend a 90-minute introduction, for which I was advised that I would need to place a $40 hold on my credit card to guarantee a monetary gift. I appreciated the concierge's understanding when I declined his introduction offer, citing that it did not align with my needs at this time. Apart from the check-in experience, it was amazing!

Fun stay easy to get in and out. The amenities were wonderful in march 2025 they do have some construction to outdoor activities keep that in mind for the summer. However given the season no one would be usimg the outdoor pool anyways

We were very impressed with the building and the location. Having the beach just a couple of feet from us was very nice! The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The people from the resort were friendly. We have the feeling we will be coming back again.

We had an excellent stay and the room exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, had a magnificent ocean view and is centrally located to lots of amenities. I highly recommend this spot and we will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay, gracious host, comfy bed and breakfast plus a packed lunch was perfect and delicious for our day hike in Grayson Highlands State Park!

This was a great place to stay for my husband’s birthday weekend! It’s in a cute area w/ plenty of its own offerings but w/ quick access to downtown Norfolk. We arrived late in the evening but were welcomed warmly by Erin and Jason and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Street parking was easy on a February weekend, especially with the overnight parking pass provided. The patio access is essentially a private entrance, and mornings are quiet since the restaurant doesn’t open until 5 PM. Unit #2 was perfect for two people w/ a comfortable queen bed and convenient bathroom across the hall — plus an added bonus of a sitting room and coffee/tea space on the same floor. It would probably not be ideal for very light sleepers due to nightlife sounds on the weekends, but the hosts are up front about this and offer a noise machine if needed. Overall, this was a great option for us and we would stay again in the future!

I had a great stay!! It was well worth th money and the staff were all so friendly and responsive! Thank you very much! A big shout out to Ms Paula who works in the gatehouse! She was always smiling and happy and always welcomed me back when I returned from work each day! She is a credit to you all!

this place is not what you expect and that is a good thing the pictures on the Airbnb website do it no justice the pictures are beautiful but the home itself is way more beautiful than what you expect you're getting more than your money worth staying here.

Such beautiful view and location! We loved the room and the nearby food options were extraordinary. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but our schedules wouldn't allow for it. We intend on returning for sure!
