With plenty of room to accommodate up to 10 guests, it’s the perfect spot for your family getaway. 2 minute walk to the sandy beach and 2 to 5 minute walking distance of charming shops, delicious restaurants, and the pier, The fenced backyard is great for kids and pets, featuring a playhouse, a covered picnic area, a gas grill, and a fire pit for making memories.

Secluded chalet near the top of a mountain on 8 acres, just 70 minutes from downtown DC, 20 minutes to old town Front Royal, close enough to get Instacart from groceries, Costco and Target, and private enough to enjoy your sunset view from the deck every night and to not see any other homes! The home is at the end of a long gravel road and parking in a small cul-de-sac. Dogs are allowed for a $75 fee per stay for the 1st, $25 after, up to 3 dogs max, extra fees charged after reservation.

Short hike to mountain stream on property picnic area. Water is from a deep well, tested and 100% free of any bacteria. No RVs.

We love our little imperfect home that creeks and looks pretty good for being over 100. Currently it is getting a makeover and upgrade. Please be aware of this as you are booking. It has a roomy, walkout basement apartment with windows in every room and is tucked away in the heart of downtown. This home dates back to the 1800s, with loads of character and occasionally a bit of noise from the upper levels. It’s not a high-end trendy spot, but it’s humble, and perfect in our eyes.
