The place was beautiful and private with great views and not too far away. Linda & Michael were wonderful. They were very nice, helpful and ready to meet any need to make our stay relaxing and memorable. We look forward to going back in the future.

I love the beautiful house and the beautiful surroundings. We used it as a family get away and it certainly filled that need, especially because of the lack of cell phone service and Wi-Fi. Great place to disappear to for a few days. Adam is very helpful and responsive!

This place was great! We booked it to celebrate an 80th birthday with the family and everyone thought it was beautiful. The working farm is lovely, and the farm dogs and barn cat are super cute/friendly. It’s a gorgeous area, sitting out on the porch chairs listening to the cows, horses, llamas, donkey, and other animals on a crisp morning was great. Perfect cup of coffee.

If a peaceful, sleepy, serene example of what living in a small town is really like, then this is the perfect place for you! This absolutely beautiful and well preserved farmhouse, which dates back to the 1890’s was clearly restored by people who obviously love this house and a way of life that has become very difficult to experience for most folks today. The grounds are picturesque and the livestock on the grounds, only add to the genuine appeal of the overall property. Karen is a very kind, generous, and responsive hostess which only serves to make a stay here more comfortable. The dining area is spacious and well lit. The finer details of this house have been preserved in working order as well. Check out is just as easy as checking in as a side note. To be certain, I have never stayed in any other Air B&B, that I would have been proud to call my own. I have nothing but praise for Karen and the job they did in making it possible for folks to experience this area, and Lee County VA!

We had a wonderful stay. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Jimmie was a wonderful host, who happily showed us the farm animals. The mini donkey is adorable! The bath was very nice to soak in. Would happily stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The location is stunning, the farm manager is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the cows were so fun! We will definitely consider a return visit!

Celeste was an amazing host! We had a bad experience at a hotel in town and Celeste welcomed us last minute into her home. We were so grateful, but better yet, the home was unbelievably charming! It was the perfect place for our little girls trip. The yard and views were just beautiful and we hope to be back someday! The home was clean, private, peaceful and we had everything we needed. Our family loved our time at the Silo House! Ashleigh and Mike have devoted much love and time to creating this private oasis at Lake Glen Haven. The attention to detail with the look and the function of the renovated silo/barn along with the natural swim pond gives a relaxing and magical experience for all ages. This is definitely on our "will return" list!

Great stay for a weekend getaway. It's about 20-30 minutes from downtown Charlottesville so you can easily drive into town, yet far enough if you just want to enjoy some peaceful time on the farm. Joel and Molly were very kind while Goose and Ernie were a lot of fun!

We absolutely loved our stay!!! My husband and I are huge animal lovers and decided to stay here for our wedding anniversary. We could not have been more impressed!! The animals were so sweet and were our favorite part of the whole getaway!!! Tim was incredibly kind and even left out muffins and brownies for us! The animals loved our snacks, but look out for the donkeys. They REALLY wanted our animal crackers 🤣. We loved every minute of our stay!!

What a great house to base a trip to explore Charlottesville and the Northern Shenandoah Valley out of! Monticello, The Blue Ridge Parkway, wineries; all waiting for your arrival. Steve and Debbie’s Rose Cottage all of the amenities to set the mood for a wonderful adventure. Oh, did I mention the heated bathroom floor? Toasty!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our family of 6 stayed at Brenda’s place for a quick weekend getaway- we didn’t leave the farm all weekend! The home was perfectly stocked for cooking in, spending quality time together, and of course- learning about alpacas! The beds were super comfy, and we especially enjoyed a little time down by the fire pit and creek. Brenda is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and was very patient with our younger kiddos. We highly recommend staying at their alpaca farm home if you are looking for a beautiful spot to slow down and relax!

Cat and Eric were amazing hosts. We were here with several friends and celebrated a wonderful birthday. It was the perfect place for all of us. Cat and Eric went beyond to welcome us and make our stay the wonderful. The surroundings are wonderful and peaceful. The Farm so well taken care of and each cottage we rented was in pristine conditions. We will be back again soon. We had a great stay at Derek‘s cottage it’s right under the Shenandoah mountains in an extraordinary and beautiful location. The cottage is rustic and has great charm. If you like peace and quiet and ability to have an outside fire with plenty wood or a warm wood stove, this would be perfect for you. Very relaxing and refreshing.

This was such a nice cabin and had so much charisma for our winter trip. Cullin and Danielle were great with recommendations and providing basically everything you should need at the cabin. Views were incredible and any issues we had were resolved quickly.

This house was lovely and peaceful. Spent a wonderful day in the surrounding town shopping at the local stores all of which had friendly service and excellent recommendations. Ate at the dredge, delicious food and great drinks. And had a serene afternoon relaxing in the sunroom listening to the rain. The perfect place to get away from the world for a while.

A Perfect Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this charming cabin! The peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, and cozy atmosphere made for the perfect retreat. Our dog absolutely loved exploring the open space, and we appreciated how pet-friendly everything was. The cabin was spotless, well-equipped, and had thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee on the porch was a highlight. Larry the host was wonderful—responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

Living Waters is a fantastic location to retreat and get away from the busyness of life. We've come here for Elders Retreats for Blue Ridge Community Church in Ruckersville 2 years in a row now and it has provided great space for conversation, prayer and fellowship. If you need a quiet peaceful place this is a great option!

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Mike and the family dog, Gigi. There was a "happy birthday" banner hanging on the deck railing. Inside Sarah had left a birthday gift and two slices of cake for my husband's birthday. What a nice surprise! The cottage was comfy, cozy, and met all our expectations. It was warm when we arrived, but it got cold overnight. The downstairs heating unit was not working, and after we reported it, they brought in a floor heater which nicely heated the area along with running the fireplace. We really enjoyed meeting and feeding the alpacas. They visited us at our back deck frequently. They were lots of fun and provided many smiles! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah & Mike's place.
