Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Virginia

Our experience was fantastic! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and in a great location. The host was incredibly accommodating. We’ll definitely stay here again!

On a Whim is an excellent place to stay on the island very neat and well maintained. The road to find the house is a bit small and difficult to find at night other wise the house has room for up to 6-7 people good utensils. They do charge extra for Lenin or bedsheets and pillow covers make sure to keep that in mind we brought our own. We thank the host for a good experience.

We had a great stay for a couples get away celebrating several birthdays! The house was clean, comfy beds, and plenty of space to gather and hang with friends. The location was convenient with a quiet, safe neighborhood. Thank you for hosting!

We stayed at Xiaoming's Airbnb in Norfolk, Virginia, for 30 days while our home in Virginia Beach was under repair, and it was truly a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the house was immaculate, with a fresh, clean smell. Xiaoming went above and beyond to accommodate our pets, making it an ideal space for our German Shepherd to run and play in the backyard. Our two young children had plenty of room to play as well, which made our stay stress-free. The downstairs master bedroom was perfect for getting our day started easily, and the location couldn't be better—just a short drive to amazing restaurants and beach access. The outdoor grilling area and porch became our favorite lunch spot, giving that summer vibe, even on chilly days. Having access to the garage was a huge bonus, keeping our vehicle clean and giving our dog a comfortable spot to sleep and eat without any worry about dirt inside the house. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Highly Recommend!

It was the perfect place for our stay. We were visiting our family for Christmas week and it was only a mile and a half away. So very convenient for us. House was the perfect size for the three of us.

This was the perfect house and location for a weekend exploring Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. We had 3 moms and three boys and the basement space was a perfect sleepover environment for the boys. And was soooo much more peaceful than staying at Great Wolf which was just around the corner so we were able to take the boys there for a day in the water park.

The hosts did an incredible job using videos to describe everything we needed to expect. The place was immaculate, the coffee bar was amazing. Oh, you have to get reservations at Fahrenheit 132. The service was impeccable the food was perfect. Look no further, this is a great place to stay within walking distance to everything in Fredericksburg.

This was a nice two-person apartment close to shopping and restaurants. Well-stocked kitchen, a great screened porch with table and chairs (we ate meals out there), and a huge bathroom. About the only thing missing was a TV, but we had laptops and wifi so it wasn't really an issue for us.

Debbie was a fantastic host and her place was perfect for a weekend swim meet. We appreciated the early check in and snacks and it was so nice to have a dryer for the wet swim towels. She had clearly thought about the guest experience with things like detergent, soap, coffee creamer, etc. We definitely hope to book here again if we have another swim meet in Christiansburg.

We really enjoyed the property. It was close to our family, quiet, and the parking and backyard space was super nice. Clean, organized, and well-equipped. I definitely will return to the property when visit family, and recommend it to friends and family. Bryson was great and very responsive. Thank you!

Comfortable place, clean and well appointed. Bathroom shower tiles are outdated and due for remodeling. Bathroom and bedrooms were warmed by hallway thermostat but dining room and TV living room were cold. Entry living room carpet and furniture are old/stained and due for upgrade. Hosts were wonderful responding to washer/dryer issues.

Eric's place was wonderful! I was struck by how clear his directions were - even if I had been confused about which door to enter, he had put out a little sign with my name on it! The view was absolutely gorgeous, and the location is awesome for local universities. The amenities were exactly as described, and everything was lovely for our stay.

Great stay, central location! Perfect home for our family getaway!

This was my second time staying at Pam’s place and it is always great! Loved being able to walk on the beach and walk to many different stores and restaurants. Pam was super responsive whenever we needed something, and I hope to stay there again in the future!

Adam is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and accommodating. I loved that they gave a pet friendly home and that allowed us to bring our furr baby. His home is definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed being able to walk to the boardwalk and restaurants. Was very clean and felt homey inside.

Kelly’s oceanfront condominium is perfect! It has a wall of windows overlooking the ocean. It was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and immaculate. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay. We had one issue, but Quinn handled it as soon as we contacted him. We have no complaints. The bathrooms were beautiful and it appeared that they had been recently updated. All supplies were well-stocked with quality items, including the bathroom and kitchen towels. There was even a “Welcome, Gale” sign on the kitchen counter. I highly recommend this place!!

Tara was such an amazing host! She was very helpful and flexible when there was mix ups with my flights. The condo was amazing and very nice. A great place to stay!
