Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sacramento

Very spacious house with amazing views, an excellent choice for a weekend getaway. Lucy is great host and was very responsive to any questions and concerns I had.

Although we only spent one night in this rental because we went to a show in Sacramento, it was very comfortable and welcoming. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked. Neighborhood was nice to walk around in. I would definitely come again.

Such a wonderful 2 bedroom with 2 bath to stay while our remodeling. We ended up staying at Teya's place for 2 whole months and it did feel like second home to us. Thank you

Perfect base for visiting Sacramento and surrounding areas. Accommodation was excellent and was perfect for what we required. Close to local amenities and restaurants. We would recommend staying here.

The location was great-close to the Kings arena, State Capitol, Old Sacramento, and other downtown attractions. We had a minor issue about parking our vehicle but Robyn responded quickly and helped us resolve the issue. The place was just like the pictures and we had everything that we needed. There is some street noise but it is a downtown area so it is to be expected; it did not interupt our sleep at all.

Steve’s property was absolutely beautiful. The unit was detached from the main house with double doors that opened right up to the pool. The unit had everything that we needed to be comfortable. It was organized, clean and well stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils and other cooking items necessary to make and store food. Plus all the droors were labeled describing what was inside. There was no stove but he had a hot plate, toaster oven and toaster in the unit and a propane grill outside that I used to bbq. The adjacent property had friendly cows that came up the fence, which our 15 month old daughter enjoyed. There were many lounge areas, a hammock and a hot tub on the private patio conveniently placed right outside another the door. There were mature trees through out the property and an outside tv viewing area that we watched the 49ers game on. Steve communicated well and gave us our privacy but was available to have a friendly conversation with when we crossed paths! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

Close to stores, restaurants and local businesses. The area is quiet and calm. Took family and friends to a festival and this home was beautiful and spaces enough for everyone. Gary is very good with responding to messages when he is needed. I would def book again if given the chance.

Loved staying in this guesthouse, with the hot tub and grassy yard steps away! Very peaceful neighborhood and we appreciated the thoughtful touches from Cynthia.

One of our favorite Airbnb stays!! Great location to apple picking/ fall activities and all the nature and hiking. Christina was so responsive and shared lots of recommendations. The space was perfect for our family of 5, including two toddlers and a dog. The perfect setting for a long weekend away!

We stayed again at Mike's place for our annual event in Folsom. We loves this house and it always feels like home. Thanks for accommodating our group again! :-)

I stay often. The house is comfortable. Lovely view. You can walk around the property with your dogs. The dogs on the property are friendly. It's not far from Sacramento. I feel like I am out in the country while stores are nearby if I forgot something. The hosts are very nice, and helpful. They will also respect your privacy. This is a great place.

Mischa was a very kind and gracious host! The location of the Airbnb is ideal, in a great neighborhood and close to great local shops like Freeport Bakery and Chocolate Fish coffee. The light rail station is just steps away for easy access to the downtown/midtown grid. There was an issue with the heating system breaking down, but Mischa was great and provided space heaters and blankets and graciously refunded part of what we paid for the stay. The space was great, with a beautiful dining room, great kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great for what we needed. Response time was quick and easy. Close enough to Sacramento proper to Uber. Be mindful if you have a bigger number of guests there is only one bathroom but it is quite doable. Big common spaces.

The tiny house was an amazing stay! The goats and horses were incredibly friendly and fun to interact with—we loved petting them, and the horses even stopped by for a late-night snack, which was such a unique experience. The house itself was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was also wonderfully quiet, and the night skies were breathtaking, filled with stars. Overall, it was a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

Prior to check in all the way through check out, Christian was an extremely communicative host. I really appreciate that there were very clear instructions for everything. Some of us were flying in from out of state and Christian was very accommodating with an early check in. This place is huge and spaciously laid out. We hosted dinner for 12 people multiple nights and with so much space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Our group spent a ton of time outside-enjoying the relaxing pool and lounging area. The property is maintained and beautiful. We had 3 kids with us who were obsessed with this house! Christian has so much for the kids to do that they never got bored. Seriously - between the cinema room upstairs, pool, water slide, sports outside, foosball, there was never a dull moment which is really saying something for kids! I’d stay here again when I’m in town in a heartbeat. Thank you Christian and your family for the wonderful stay, we sincerely appreciate it

The place was spacious, clean, and so comfortable. Best of all, it was at the perfect distance for cycling to Sac State. We were able to enjoy cooking in the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and even took advantage of the garden and splash pool. Also, I was grateful to have a desk to work at. Honestly, there were so many wonderful aspects of our stay that I could go on and on. Needless to say, we loved every minute of it. Thank you to our host, Marwa, for providing such with a fantastic experience!

Sandy's house is clean, comfortable, and absolutely lovely. A group of 4 of us had the house for 5 nights while attending a conference at UC Davis. The house was conveniently located (2 miles / 10 minute drive) and our check-in / check-out process was smooth. Sandy was so flexible about the check-in and check-out times as well, which made our trip all the more manageable. Leading up to our stay and throughout the visit, Sandy was always available and responded promptly to any questions or concerns. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent option for a family/group wanting to stay together and possibly have a few people over for small gatherings. We booked this house because my family wanted to stay together while we were in town for a funeral. It was perfectly located for where we wanted to be. We found the house and yard to actually be bigger than it appears in the pictures! We accidentally missed the note that the pool isn't heated, but we were okay with that because the days were warm enough to take a few cooling dips! The area is very close to the highway, but also very peaceful and quiet and we were able to spot the turkeys and the peacock that live in the neighborhood. It was nice to have two full baths available for the size of our group. We also took advantage of having washer and dryer available. The only negative that we found was that there was one bed that nobody was able to sleep in because it was very uncomfortable. We were able to overcome that issue by having one person sleep on the couch.

Great spot for a family trip, house was very clean and conveniently located. Would highly recommend.
