“The Tidepools house is perfect for a stay on the Mendocino Coast! Great location and amazing views from the patio deck. It was nice to wake up and enjoy the ocean view with a cup of cocoa. We could sit on the patio and watch a seagull family and their newly hatched babies on a distant rock. Our small family (2 adults, 1 child) had plenty of room to sprawl out and be comfortable. Nice big tv and comfy couch made for a fun family movie night. Trulee emailed and texted us local recommendations leading up to our visit, and took into account having our kid as well. All of the amenities were as described, and the house was very clean, comfortable, and well-kept. There were some ants in the kitchen when we arrived which made it hard to cook and there was some minor construction noise going on. All in all, it was a great experience and we definitely want to visit again!”
We are open! And Sea Cloud is the perfect place to relax & renew. Our cottage nests cosily on a high bluff with breathtaking panoramas of the ocean, at the junction of Anderson Valley wineries & the majestic coast. Sit on the deck or take a soak in a hot tub under the stars. A short drive takes you to historic Mendocino village. A Zagat-rated restaurant is steps away! Our calendar respects 72-hour period in-between guests. Price includes 11% county tax.
“Jonathan and Genevieve are absolutely perfect hosts! So welcoming and gracious. The property had all the amenities one could hope for and THE VIEW is absolute perfect. Hot tub on the deck, what more can you ask for? The sound of waves crashing all night...? Done. A beautiful garden to welcome you upon entry? Done. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Jonathan and Genevieve for everything!”

“We had a wonderful time. The size of the yurt was perfect. The yurt area was great, very private, a big table, chairs (you have to rent the fire pit, it’s a must at night), the grill... and it’s only 20 seconds from the stunning swimming pool. The toilets did not smell at all and were easier to use than what I thought. We had no mosquito, no spider... but we had ants ! They really do find their way to your food ! It was a magical time... And I like the fact they communicated well regarding COVID. Pretty rare on Airbnb. They even added hand sanitizers next to the pool and showers. The only 2 little downsides is that the inside of the yurt had many stains (from the previous guests exploding insects on it probably) so it was not as white as in the pictures, and because of COVID, you can’t chose your seats at the swimming pool (each guest has an attributed long chair for more safety) but we were lucky to have great seats next to the pool! We would love to come back and will recommend the place to friends. Sorry again to have hit your parking sign when we left :(”
