Vacation rentals in Playa del Carmen

It was excellent, the host was always attentive to us, and answered quickly. The house is very comfortable and above all very clean, with everything in order. In a very safe private community, friendly guards at all times. I recommend it 100%. They welcomed us with the air conditioning in the room on for a comfortable welcome. It has everything you need to spend a long time in Playa del Carmen. Convenience stores two blocks away, it has a shared pool. Overall excellent, that's why 5/5.

Quiet place and very secure

Excellent property for families, it's not as accessible without private transportation. Suitable for activities near the area. The house and the furnishings are first-class. I suggest that the stay can be made more pleasant if there are details such as coffee, tea, oil, oatmeal, and especially water available for guests to drink.

It was a very comfortable, safe and conveniently located accommodation. The pool is excellent.

A good place , clean and quiet

We had a great time, Francesca's house is perfect! Well-equipped, secure, in front of the pool and well placed to visit the surrounding sites. The people who monitor access to the residence are very nice and helpful. Francesca, despite her physical absence, was always available and provided good advice. if we have to come back to this area, we'll be back with pleasure at Francesca's ☺️ We highly recommend this accommodation.

Very good house for a large group, all stays were large enough not to feel tight. It has everything you need for a good stay. The host was always attentive to anything. Sure we will take it into account for when I return to Playa del Carmen

Very clean, nice, upscale house with modern amenities. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, including beach towels. Public beach right around the corner, a 2 minute walk. The kitchen knives were actually sharp, something lacking in prior AirBNBs we've stayed at. Everything worked, coffee maker with filters and even good coffee stocked. Beautiful back deck with pool. We loved everything except for the washer/dryer, which didn't work so well. We let the host know about the washer and he was appreciative of the info saying he'd get the maintenance guys on it. I'd definitely stay again!

Fernando’s place is clean, central, and exactly like the photos. We loved the rooftop pool and massive hot tub; we went in early April and it was never crowded. The building was always staffed with concierge and we always felt safe. We travelled with an 18m toddler and while the Airbnb is not baby-proof, Fernando was able to accommodate a high chair and crib for a small fee. Having the washer and dryer in unit was very convenient. You can’t drink the tap water but fresh water is provided in those 5 gallon water containers. The kitchen is well stocked and even had a blender and kettle. We loved the supermarket named Selecto just a few steps away on 10th Avenue with fresh seafood, pastries, steaks, and lots more. Overall, we’d highly recommend this Airbnb to other travellers.

We had a great vacation in Dovile's apartment. We were 2 adults and 2 small children (1 and 4 years old). Dovile kindly provided a cot and a highchair. The apartment has a great layout - the bedrooms are separated from the living room by a corridor. The terrace became our favorite place, where we spent a lot of time and often cooked food using the gas grill (Weber). The Vaiven Del Viento complex itself is very calm and peaceful. We will be happy to come back here again.

Excellent place, it exceeded our expectations, very well located a few minutes from the shopping center with a currency exchange and bus stop to and from the center, also close to the Xcaret transportation wing. Only observation, the main bathroom had low water pressure in the shower.

Excellent service, we had a problem with the second lock but there was no problem in repairing it and from there everything was fine, we had everything at hand, the washing machine was excellent, which was a plus and the AC was great, I would come back here without hesitation

This was the best place I have ever stayed. Everything was nearby, so even though it rained heavily, I could access everything on foot. The interior space was exactly as shown in the photos, and it was very clean. I was very satisfied with the value for the price.

The apartment is in one of the corners, so limited facing. Very nice balcony/terrace at the living/dining room level. View of the interior with the pool. The terrace with the jacuzzi is also very nice. We had a great time with family!!! In short, very well designed, well furnished, well equipped and matches the photos and descriptions. Our hosts were also impeccable before and during the stay!

This was an AMAZING location for convenience!! Best taco place in playa (El Fogón), lots of other restaurants, an organic market, and major supermarket all right on the corner! Carlos was absolutely THE BEST host ever!! I accidentally locked our passports in the safe day 1 and he made it happen to get it open so we could enjoy our vacation!! He gave TONS of recommendations!! I loved that the property had a balcony and there were beautiful plants everywhere!! I love to travel and I’m always so excited when I find a bnb that actually has a comfy bed!! The bed was large and super comfy!! The place was clean and there was even some cold water for us when we arrived which we were grateful for!! The beach and 5th Ave are each about 15 minutes walking or a short 3-5 minute taxi ride. The taxis were $3-$10 depending on who you ask and which way the wind is blowing 😂 (with tip we never paid over $175 pesos) Overall we had an amazing stay and I would absolutely recommend to stay with Carlos!

If you want a fantastic beachfront condo in the heart of Playa del Carmen, this is the place for you. It's a 2-minute walk to the beach and a 2-minute walk to 5th Avenue. It's maybe a 10-minute walk to the Cozumel ferry. You can't beat the location if you want to be in the city. The condo, the view, and the beach were excellent and felt luxurious. All of the staff we interacted with were professional and friendly. When we booked, we were a little nervous about the noise, knowing it was near some beach clubs. We could hear the faint sound of music when going to bed, but it wasn't a big deal. We had no problems relaxing in the condo, even though we were in the middle of the city. Bottom line - this place was incredible!

Patricia’s place at El Taj was wonderful. It was exactly as she described in the listing, even the warning about the fishing boats and lack of beach. All of the amenities provided were welcomed. The restaurant attached to El Taj served as a beach club for the guests. The food (optional) and service from them was top notch. The gym is in a neighboring building that is only a couple of blocks away. It is a very nice gym with fitness classes offered. El Taj also offers included water fitness classes twice a week, which were excellent and well-attended. Most nights it was a quiet location, but one the weekends some noise could be heard from the nearby beach club. It wasn’t enough to keep you awake though. Fifth avenue is just a couple of blocks away. Patricia was very responsive with any questions I asked. She responded within 10-15 minutes.

My guests and I had an excellent stay. Alex our host was incredibly attentive and responsive to our needs. He checked on us throughout our stay, communicated, and provided recommendations to restaurants and attractions within the area. The condos were in excellent condition, clean, and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and stores.
