Jonathan and his team responded to all of our queries. The room and common spaces were clean and as shown in the photos. You are close to 5th avenue and beach 38. We would definitely come back.

The apartment is beautifully laid out, and feels like a home away from home. Lovely open planned kitchen well equipped, plenty of seating space in the living room, two well-sized balconies, two full bathrooms and double bedrooms. The location is about 10-15 minute walk from 5th and 10th avenue / ADO turistica and is across the street from the Chedraui supermarket, super convenient! It’s also around the corner from the collectivo point for buses Tulum. Gisela and Sergio communicated excellently! Super warm, friendly and welcoming! Provided recommendations for restaurants, bars and things to do in Playa and well as recommendations for visits across Quintana Roo and Yucatan! Would 1000% stay again!

The place was amazing, super beautiful, and makes you feel at home. From the host's hospitality to the location with affordable food options, a supermarket nearby, this place offers excellent value for the price paid. It's perfect for a group of five; two couples have their own private rooms, and one more person sleeps on the super comfortable sofa bed. The place has everything you need and of great quality, and many extras are provided, which was really nice, like beach towels, coffee, laundry soap. The air conditioning in each room makes it an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates comfort and value for money.

I’ve stayed in around a hundred Airbnbs, and this is truly my favorite one yet. We stayed for about 9 days in July, and loved every minute of our time in the home. There are windows absolutely everywhere, so the home is bright and sunny and the beautiful garden and flowers surrounding the pool are on full display. I loved how we could see the pool from the bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room, allowing us to keep an eye on the kids. The daily cleaning was the most incredible benefit. Every day while we were out, our beds were made, floors cleaned, everything. It felt so luxe. Also, the kid’s room being up the spiral stairs was so fun - like a castle tower. The home had everything we needed, was absurdly close (6 min?) to Xel-Ha - our favorite activity, and only 15/20 minutes from Tulum, Zacil-Ha Cenote and Cenote Calavera, which our kids loved. Very close to Xpu-Ha beach, too. The neighborhood felt very safe and after driving through other areas, we were glad we chose Akumal!

To say I had the best stay in my life would be an understatement. From the gorgeous interior to the exquisite grounds and pool, it was breathtaking. What really made the Villa special was Carlos and his staff. He provided an experience unlike any other. I wish I could keep his home a secret because I want to visit as many times as possible, but meeting and now knowing Carlos, it would be a disservice to his kind soul. 100/10 recommended. David’s place was great. It was just like the photos. Lupita and Carmen truly will go above and beyond for whatever you need. The location was great. It was close to downtown, restaurants, and nightlife. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous home set in a jungle ambiance. The home has beautiful decor with a nice sense of place and very thoughtful amenities like a coffee bar, drinks in the fridge and loved having hammock time outside on the lower jungle patio and rooftop area. Very easy walk to the beach and the jungle fish beach club was adorable and they were so friendly with our 3 year old. he transformed after one day at the pool into a brave swimmer. Short driving distance is Downtown Akumal is adorable! There's the old town where there are lots of street food options. We got delicious pastor tortas and oddly enough great pasta at the same place for our son at Tacos y Pastas, Luis y Marisol. Closer to the water are the more traditional restaurants. Grab happy hour drinks at La Buena Vida but dine elsewhere. Turtle Bay Bakery and Cafe has great dinner and their margs are delish! I wish we had more time to explore the area! Very friendly and helpful hosts. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! The house was gorgeous, the staff made delicious home cooked meals every day, and continuously cleaned up after us! Patricia and Yessi checked in and made sure we were happy with our accommodations. This was such a special stay and experience and I would highly recommend it! When my friends and I walked in, a few of us said, this was the best airbnb we'd ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious for our group of 8. Rooms were clean, lots of space to lay out belongings. Air conditioning was nice and cold once it reached temp. The master bathroom alone was an experience with its double rainfall showerheads. The rooftop access felt very unique and private, overlooking the city with quiet residents on one side and the parties from downtown. We wish we had more time to make use of the grill and pool. We made a 10 minute walk to a grocery store for drinks and snacks. Any time we were hungry, several great choices were within walking distance. We had come for my bachelor party and plenty of places and activities were straight down the street. Cannot emphasize enough how central this rental was. Communication with the property manager was also great, he was very helpful with recommendations and letting us extend our check out time.
