Next, we will head to our Meliponario - House of Stingless Bees. We will learn about their ancient relationship and importance to the Maya civilization, observe natural hives, to then move to the human-made hives. We will talk about how these bees contribute to the ecosystem and the best way to support them. Lastly, we will serve you your tea and take some souvenir pictures. You can take pictures throughout the whole tour. This activity is for all ages! It's an opportunity to interact with bees without fear, from neither side. Other things to note You will not be wearing a mask of any kind (unless we're in COVID-19 circumstances). These bees not only are stingless but also domesticated. They have seen hundreds of people and know that we are here to protect them.

Returning to Monina we will take a 30 minute break. You may purchase a snack or drink if you would like while you wait or just relax an look over the beautiful ocean. Lets clean up, and get ready to enjoy Chilangos, a local family restrauant. You will have a choice of several meals. A real Mexican experience. Last, what everyone comes to Mexico for Tequila! You will taste many flavors of Tequila. You may buy to take home as well, but our guest love to taste the tequila an learn the history. It's time to return to Monina to say good bye. Lets clean up an have a drink on us (bottle of water, soda, or a juice). *You may purchase an alcoholic beverage if you want* Now lets go for a Mayan experience & Tequila tasting. You will recieve 1 Margarita. We will then tour the Mayans way of living. Their gardens, home, & homemade chocolate. They Will make chocolate for you, homemade tortillas, & sauce. Then, what you have been waiting for, Tequila ! We will taste many homemade flavors of Tequila. You will then have some time to make purchases before we move on. In our place of peace "Temazcal y Masajes Pixan" we are a team of people preserving our culture, everyone is welcome to our space With the support of Nayel and Yaollin (the man who guides the temazcal), we start welcoming people, I explain the Temazcal process, that is a traditional Mexican steam bath, which originated with pre-Hispanic Indigenous peoples, Is used as part of a curative ceremony thought to purify the body and balance mind, body and spirit. With sahumerio, copal and incense I make a energetic cleaning (preparation before entering the Temazcal). Afterwards, we enter at the Temazcal and we sit around the navel. Then the previously heated volcanic stones, which emit steam, emerge. The place becomes little warm, While the body rids itself of toxins through sweating, the spirit is renewed through ritual. And we will learn the importance of the words, the silence and the strength of the songs, making relaxing but also fun dynamics. When we finish we go out and shower in the garden with a rustic watering can, the water purifies our body. After I offer abundant and varied fresh fruits and natural fruit waters gift from our Mother Earth. Besides promoting physical well-being and healing, the Temazcal is also a ritual and spiritual practice in which traditional healing methods are used to encourage reflection and introspection.
