Treehouse vacation rentals in Ohio River

Loved our stay here! Great location right in between Blowing Rock and Boone. We were able to walk to dinner at The Gamekeeper! Cute little cottage- had everything we needed for a weekend stay!!

Enjoyed a trip here with my wife. Was a beautifully little town and the cabin was plenty comfy. We stayed in the love shack and plan to come back again and try one of the other cabins in the future! Got to talk to the Hostess during check-out and she was very welcoming and friendly!

Rustic and peaceful hideaway for those ready for some private time. The guest cabin and treehouse offered further retreat from the main house. This was an idilic location for our private family time and everyone enjoyed the rustic vibe with modern amenities.

Absolutely amazing last minute quick getaway with two teens. They forgot about their technology and were off exploring all the extras. (The tire swing, trap door, peddle boat, star gazing deck. Hammock…) The hosts were highly communicative. proactive and unobtrusive - the best of all worlds! My kids have asked to go back annually in the summer for more time on the lake.

No tv or service but beautiful little cabin in a beautiful town. Great to get away. Town was empty when we visited.

We had a great stay! Laura’s Airbnb Felt like grandmas house as soon as we walked In! It was a cozy and delightful stay. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful time exploring nearby city’s and enjoying the wilderness!

This is a great location close enough to town but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet, and the home is wonderful for larger groups. The kitchen has everything you need and then some! With 4 1/2 bathrooms there is never a line. The beds are comfortable and there is space in every room to add a cot or baby bed if needed. Ashley is a great host and is quick to respond to all questions and fixed any concerns we had during our stay. This was our second time staying here and we had a wonderful stay once again.

My fiance and I have never stayed at an Airbnb before so being this was our first, I have to say it was definitely worth it! The cabin itself was worth a thousand words let alone the friendly hospitality from Tammy. We will definitely be back!

Madison’s cabin is unique and perfect for a small group of friends. The large deck with hammock elevated in the trees was the perfect place to relax. This cabin can’t be beat if you are in the Burkesville area.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! We especially enjoyed the secluded hot tub, drinking coffee in the bright, sunlit living room and behind the cabin (the view is beautiful), and playing games on the front porch. We went on two of the three hikes from the cabin and they were so much fun. I also appreciated the clear communication, from checking in and out procedures to the directions for the private hikes to local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The rocks and river were so beautiful. The down stairs really feels more like a “tiny home.” The kids had a great space upstairs in the loft. They had a microwave and outdoor grill for cooking, but we didn’t see the toaster oven shown in the pictures. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. The couch on the porch is very relaxing. We did feel the price was a bit high for it feeling more like a tiny home, but we definitely loved our stay.

I would give it 10 stars if I could! Great hideaway spot with beautiful views. Wonderful if you like camping/want to get introduced to the camping world. Definitely will glamp here again very soon!! We got a surprise visit from a very friendly pup, was the best way to start our day. Oh and so peaceful falling asleep under the moonlight/stars and being able to see it all :)

We absolutely loved staying for my hubby’s birthday @ Dawn’s lil Treehouse ! It was so peaceful and loved the simplicity of it ! Enjoyed the surrounding animals and traveling into town to grab some good meals and a movie! The hospitality was top notch ! Fresh farm eggs and multiple snacks were a nice touch ! The decor was so cute and encouraging! Thanks so Much we really enjoyed our time of relaxation!

This home is an absolute gem—far more than just a rental, it’s a true labor of love. The craftsmanship, custom finishes, and thoughtful design make it a stunning and comfortable retreat. Every detail feels intentional, creating an atmosphere that is both stylish and welcoming. Our girls, both younger, kept talking about how much they loved the “birds nest” in the Bird House. That is what they called the upstairs space that they slept in on the pull out couch. One small note for future guests: the driveway is not paved and the slope is at a slight grade. If you drive a vehicle that sits lower (a regular car or minivan) you might scrape the bottom of your front bumper a little. No big deal, if you have the choice to drive something that sits a little higher it might be better. Overall, this place is truly exceptional, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We loved our weekend stay here for a girl’s trip! It was just what it needed to be - a comfortable place to sleep, nice bathroom and shower, bare necessities for kitchen. We made all our meals outside on our camp stove and spent each morning and evening on the large deck! We loved being surrounded by the trees but close enough to others that it felt like being at a campground. The hosts were accommodating and very kind. We’d definitely recommend!!

Be sure to have 4WD as explained in the description. The driveway is very steep but doable with 4WD. I would highly recommend!

Very fun and cute place. The treehouse looks like it’s made from mostly recycled/reclaimed materials. Lots of creativity and love have been put into making this property.

An awesome place to stay. The A frame is well appointed and plays like a private spa. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub and sauna were well taken care of. Owners made it easy. Just a lovely place.

This cabin is super nice and the host was very responsive. Allowing pets is an absolute plus as well since it is usually hard to find someone to watch them when going on trips. Also since the cabin was off grid it actually worked out in our favor due to a storm putting most of the town out of power for the first day but we werent 👍

Hello darling! Katherine’s house was absolutely perfect for a quiet weekend retreat for sisters and their mom! The location was private and beautiful! We had a run in with the local deer. Highly recommend this place and would return!

We loved the secluded cabin feel with lots of attractions, restaurants, and shopping nearby. We loved making a fire by the stream and the coziness of the space.
