House vacation rentals in Ohio River

My team stayed in Beth's house for the Buck Fifty race and it was perfect. Plenty of room for us to spread out, hot tub for sore muscles after each portion of the race and a comfortable place to relax in during the downtime. We will absolutely be booking for the race again next year assuming someone else doesn't snag it out from under us.

We were looking for a weekend getaway for a three-generation family and this was perfect. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained while still allowing for a relaxing overall experience. We had to deal with weather that didn't allow us to fully enjoy the amenities but we still were able to capitalize on the indoor pool and wind down next to the firepit in the evening. We would certainly stay with Ryan again. Thanks for the hospitality!

This place was absolutely phenomenal. The house itself was very clean. It had tons of space for everyone that came down for the weekend. The game room is such a huge bonus to this stay, we ended up spending most of our time in here. The hot tub is also great and works perfect. I would highly recommend this place and plan to come back in the future!

Tyler's place was just as described. The furnishings were comfortable, the deck and pool were great places to chill, and the fenced back yard was perfect for us as a old couple traveling with a young dog. (Our dog REALLY enjoyed the freedom to wander and run in the back yard.) Neighborhood is peaceful and a very short drive to some restaurants and stores in Independence.

This place is a great rare find airbnb in with swimming pool. Although we couldn’t use the pool due to weather staying under 65F, our kids did enjoyed enough of the hot tub. The rear view is beautiful. Even the dirt clearing side view from distance is worth watching. Free firewood is definitely a great addition. There were enough chairs and towels for 10. The beds and rooms were cleaned and nice. The only drawback was the sound of the traffic as it’s right on the road but we knew and didn’t bother much and owner had nothing to do about it. Parking was more than enough and finding the place was easy. We will be back with kids when the weather is warm enough for using the pool. Thanks Scott & Amanda for hosting us.

Big blue was a great place to stay! The price was fair. The communication was quick and easy. The home itself was lovely and more than adequately supplied with everything one might need. Three senior citizen couples stayed here and had a great time! I would highly recommend this home.

Cute little house in a quiet neighborhood. Very nicely furnished. Close to shopping and easy to get to off the highway. Jim was very nice to converse with. Will definitely book again if available.

Three of us stayed comfortably for two weeks while horse showing at WEC. The house was exactly as shown in the listing and conveniently located for our needs. We appreciated how clean everything was. There were plenty of fluffy towels provided as well as a great washer and dryer. Mark was super nice and checked on us periodically to make sure everything was going okay. Thank you for making it a great experience!

Andrelle’s place is a beautiful, roomy home away from home. We were there for my daughter’s UTM graduation and it was just perfect. I particularly love that when the advertisement says sleeps 10 it is all in beds and not pull out sofas. She does a wonderful job of supplying all you need from a well stocked kitchen to plenty of towels to cold water bottles in the refrigerator. I only wish we had discovered it freshman year and not just for graduation!

Had a nice stay in this old farm house. We were in town for a graduation party so did not spend a lot of time in the home but it met our needs.

We were in Rio for the graduation with family from three states . We all felt like there a ton of space , wonderfully appointed & vey walkable . We enjoyed to patio, screened in porch & yard space.

We used this for a few days of spring turkey hunting, very quiet and peaceful. Worked out just as it should have!!! Would definitely use again…. Thanks Joe!

Lori was such a great host. We are in the middle of our relocation here to Muncie and needed a place that we could stay with our 2 cats. They are our whole world. Lori was great with accommodating us, and had recommendations for us since we aren’t from around here. It was fun chatting with her and I will let family know about her place if we need another stay in the future, since it is pet friendly. 😻❤️

I just visited North Garden House in Lewisburg WV 4/4/25. It was absolutely beautiful, both inside and outside. The patio was quiet and peaceful. The house was warm and inviting. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. If you are looking for a getaway and some R&R then this location is it!!

Our stay was short, but we had a very pleasant time. The space is spacious and the house is perfect for large groups. The only detail worth mentioning is that the deck was not clean—it had a lot of dust and dry leaves. I brought this to the attention of Trish, one of the co-hosts, and she kindly provided a blower so we could clean it ourselves. Unfortunately, the blower didn’t work properly. Even after charging the battery, it would lose power within minutes, so the area couldn't be cleaned as we had hoped for our gathering. (Weeks in advance, we had informed the hosts that we would be celebrating my daughter’s graduation there.) That said, Trish was very thoughtful and provided two lovely patio chairs, knowing the nature of our event. Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodations 😊.
