Vacation home rentals in Ohio River

Was upset at first because they informed us the day of our arrival that the hottub broke but they were very caring and accommodated us for it and took action to fix it right away. The only thing is make sure you bring extra supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. as they only supply one of each. Also lots of geese droppings walking down to water but goes with being on a lake. Make sure you check your GPS settings so it doesn't take you backroads, learned that one. No garage so vehicle gets very hot, sunshade helps and deck is hot, no umbrella for shade to sit out at table. Overall beautiful place and Gunner was pleasant and pleasure to deal with any issues we had.

This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

Nice rental. Beautiful views of the New River in the backyard. Rental very clean and a comfortable place to relax in the evening. We enjoyed walking our dogs around Meadow Creek- peaceful and safe little town. Yes, the train did come through during the night but I was able to go back to sleep without any issue. The train was nostalgic and we enjoyed watching it go by. The deck was a favorite place to sit… watching the river—- beautiful sunset against the mountains!

Stephanie’s home is beautiful and spacious! We had a larger group of couples and friends and everyone had their own bedroom. Great having two kitchens and loving rooms to relax and visit with friends. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful with questions. I highly recommend Stephanie’s place!

Beena's home was excellent for our large group passing through. It's a very unique property with each room in a different theme, and an incredible outdoor grounds which really makes it feel special. we had a great stay and would love to go back!

Perfect and simple spot that was great for Winterfest! Easy check-in and directions on how to find it. Host was extremely responsive and friendly!

Heather was awesome! I had a small issue with the lock box and she answered me right back and talked me through it. She also offered early check in which was nice. Her home is clean and comfy. The master bathroom has great mirrors. Can’t think of anything negative. Already planning a summer outing as my sister is 2 minutes down the road!!!

Sam’s place was beautiful and spacious! There was a bit of a stink bug problem, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay :) Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The property is modern with plenty of room with an energetic vibe. Matt and Angelina quicdkly responded to questions and requests before and during our visit. They left a great welcoming book with suggestions of restaurants and other places of interest in Waverly.

The back porch has a beautiful view. It was a joy to sit on the back porch and have dinner with my kids. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is so nice. The owner is very respectful and gets back to you very fast on anything. Definitely would stay again.

I've never stayed in such a well appointed Airbnb as this one! The kitchen had small appliances I've never even SEEN, and more cooking/baking/dishes and pans than I've ever owned! The whole house was very clean, and beautifully decorated. The large ice maker was a plus. Lake was very responsive, and even offered to have her repair man come to reattach a simple door handle that fell off, which wasn't necessary! Can't think of a thing we were missing for our family long weekend, and wouldn't hesitate recommending this house to anyone wanting to be close to a marina and having all their needs met. Thanks Lake!

The Rock House is super cute and located centrally in downtown Glasgow. Peggy's is super nice and very responsive. We look forward to staying there again!

Our crews are working in the area and needed a last minute weekend stay. This place fit so well? We should change our current spot!

This property was on point. Everything was spotless, bed linens were extremely clean and had very nice scent. I will recommend this property and I hope to stay again in the future.

Perfect location to Beech Mountain resort, past the main part of town so you don’t have to deal with the traffic. Home was perfect-exactly as pictured. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bathrooms were updated and beautiful. My kids loved the place, as did we!

Just as described, he was super responsive with all questions, in a perfect location for riding,lots of parking and didn’t have to worry about us all fitting definitely will be back

Miriams place is a great little place to stay. It was close to places we wanted to go. It is a cozy little place that we felt at home in. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay! It was very cold weather and the cabin was warm and cozy! The river was beautiful and we enjoyed it so close!
