Anchorage Family Guesthouse

Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children.

Forest Floor Apartment

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use the canoe at Sand Lake.

Relax in our peaceful mountain neighborhood in Chugiak. Located just 2 miles from the Glenn Hwy. /Hwy 1 - offering an easy drive and central location-30 min from Anchorage or 20 min. from Palmer/Wasilla. Come enjoy our spacious 2 bd sanctuary with a comfortable living area in front of a fireplace after a day of Alaska adventures. Private outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a fire-pit and outdoor grill. Kitchenette has refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric skillet (No oven/range)

Beautiful, bucolic setting with loads of outdoor potential, hiking, biking, skiing. Quiet and private. Three minutes from world class cross country skiing, hiking, biking trails. Nine minutes to the most popular shopping district in Fairbanks. Fire pit, barbecue and outdoor furniture. Designated parking close to the suite entrance.

Log Home's Spacious Lower Level.

This spacious lower level is a daylight basement perfect for families traveling with children. Placed in the middle of two acres the home is surrounded by manicured yards, gardens, beautiful mountain peaks, and plenty of country quiet. Yard is open for play, or walking, as is the basketball court. There are swings hanging in car port and a cowboy grill for campfires in the spring and fall. Located four miles from Palmer this home and yards are sure to please.

Your private “sweet" is through the home's shared entry. We are 5.1 miles from ANC airport (13 min by car or approx $20-$22 Uber/Lyft/taxi). Fred Meyer grocery is .7 mile away (15 min walk); Costco is 1.7 miles. Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.

Ravenwood Suites

We aim for you to feel as though you are visiting family. The spacious yard features a large swing set for kids and a sandbox. Pat will likely greet you and give you a verbal tour of Alaska. Fast Wi-Fi. Guests have been treated to moose and babies right outside the back door, ravens, Steller jays, squirrels, and rarely a bear. There are plenty of resources for you to plan your trip. Guests especially like being able to do laundry.
