Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alaska

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to have a place we could all stay at, since we had family coming in from out of town. The townhouse is lovely and the neighborhood is very quiet.

It was a beautiful place with a great surrounding area being close to a lot of food and entertainment spots. Definitely recommended others to give this place a try.

We had a great time while staying here. Robert was very friendly and even gave me recommendations for a small hike starting in the back yard! I had a nice time walking along the creek and then down the utility road to the river where I spent about an hour walking through the water, rock hunting, and enjoying the amazing views. The place itself was super cozy and was the perfect size for two people and would be great for a couple more too! It was very clean and the pellet stove was easy to run and kept the place toasty until we were ready for bed. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future!

We have stayed at Eric’s place twice when visiting family in Wasilla. We absolutely love it! So spacious, serene, and an amazing deal! I’d recommend it to anyone.

Property was nice and everything is close by. Only issue that we had was with the thermostat where the temperature inside the house reached 75 even though we set the thermostat to 68, apart from that everything was great.

Nice cozy place with a fireplace and open kitchen, plenty of sleeping spaces. Easy communication with the host. If we need to stay in this area again, we'll definitely check for Whitney's place!

Amyʻs house was so comfortable for me and my ʻohana! Amy was very friendly and her house was so welcoming for our short trip to Anchorage. We love the neighborhood and had such a great time, we would stay again!

Our stay was peaceful and we felt safe and at home. Camden provided easy to follow directions, as well as information about the cabin and surrounding property. The cabin was clean and well supplied. The area was absolutely beautiful! We will definitely return.

Very good basic place to stay for the night, easy access and affordability are the main pluses.

We enjoyed our stay at Tim's unit for approximately one month. The unit is well equipped for extended stays, such as ours, with a good selection of cookware, great preparation and cooking space, room to set up a laptop, etc. We were impressed by how clean the unit was on our arrival. The location is nice, especially with easy access to Kincaid Park, and quiet. Like most parts of Anchorage, having a car will be very helpful here. Tim was very responsive and helped us with a special request that we had during our stay. We periodically come to Anchorage from a different part of the state to do some shopping and errands, and we thought that Tim's unit was one of the nicest AirBnBs that we have stayed at in Anchorage.

Great location and comfortable with lots of space. Near to trails and to grocery store/downtown. Charlotte was extremely responsive and helpful when I had questions. Would stay here again -- really love this part of Anchorage!

This is a wonderful four bedroom house in Anchorage close to everything. Jae was extremely responsive and quick to follow up with any questions. I would definitely book this place again.

My family and I stay in one of Johanna’s suites every chance we get. They are lovely and she is a rock star host! Kelly, too! You won’t be disappointed !

Ryan’s place was awesome. The hot tub on the back deck coupled with the private family setting and the view was awesome. If you’re traveling with a group that needs more than two bedrooms, this place is stellar. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

This home was perfect for three couples and added plus we could Bring our dogs! Spacious, clean and great views from those amazing living room windows!. The deck was enormous and if we had another night would have loved using the fire pit. This kitchen had everything we needed and more. Easily the most generous kitchen and cooking supplies I've ever seen in a rental. We would definitely Make this first choice when returning to Soldotna. A

Travis was a helpful and friendly host. Our room was comfortable and super clean, and downtown Talkeetna is just a short walk away. We really appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Didn’t hear a thing at night, so sleep was good. This place was just what we needed for a weekend at the Trio fat-bike race. Would definitely stay with Travis again.

We enjoyed our first trip to Alaska and the house was a big part of it. It was very clean and comfortable which helped out on the long winter nights. Also, very convenient to town for those quick trips to get something. Thanks An!!

This was a great stay. Alex and Siobhan were fantastic and responded quickly to questions and a minor hiccup when checking in (local power outage to the area). Place was clean, as described and beautiful! One of my friends kept saying it was his dream cabin. We do this trip every 2 years and will absolutely be looking at your place in 2026. Thanks again!!!

Jacob's house was perfect for our family vacation! The communal living spaces are large and comfortable, and the sinks in each bedroom are a wonderful addition. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and even included quite a bit of food we didn't expect. This property is beautiful and really peaceful. We enjoyed walking up the driveway to get a great view of the northern lights several nights of our stay. Jacob is incredibly helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again and again!
