Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Alaska

This place was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed the perks (like coffee, champagne and the hot tub). It was fun watching the plane land in the river and the river boat push by daily.

We enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb and would definitely come back again. The location is excellent—just a short and easy walk to town. We loved being able to grab coffee, shop, or go out to eat without needing a car. At the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful, and felt completely safe, even at night. The house itself is clean, spacious, and full of nice homely touches. It’s clear the host has put thought into making it comfortable, from soft blankets to a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well every night. One big plus was the strong and reliable WiFi, which was perfect for working remotely and streaming shows. The space is also great for relaxing, with a comfy living area and even a lovely little outdoor spot to enjoy the sun. Check-in was simple, and the host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. We would recommend to stay here.

This was our second stay and that says it all. While its just the two of us and we don't need two bedrooms, we stay here anyway. Carl was in touch with the checkin details and from there it was like coming home. There is everything you need for a short or long stay, a friendly new puppy to greet you and a beautiful view. It is removed from the hustle and bustle of "downtown" but an easy drive. Everything is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Since we have family in Soldotna, we will be back and hope that we can always stay here!

I cannot say enough good things about this hangar home and the hosts!! 10 minutes from the airport, convenient access to everything we wanted to do, and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the curtains let us sleep well in the light. There are the planes that take off and land outside, but it was never a bother or very early or late. Most of all, Ruth and Johanna were incredibly responsive, and went above and beyond to help us out during our stay. (And their binder of local recommendations was fantastic…we tried out several and loved them all!). I hope to come back and stay longer.

We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals across the country and abroad but the house view and setting here in Homer was simply breath taking. Add to that, a pair of sandhill cranes, a soaring eagle and nightly moose visitors and Miyun’s house simply was the best. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of space to move around in and be comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable and we slept well each night. All of the amenities outlined in the descriptions were there and available to us. Miyun was a prompt responder answering any questions we might have and warmly welcoming us to Homer. This is the one vacation rental that we will fondly remember forever. We can’t say enough good things about Miyun and this property. We highly recommend you consider renting here if coming to Homer, Alaska. You will not regret it and you will take home memories to last a lifetime.

We had an amazing time staying here! Our flight was delayed 6 hours, and to make an already frustrating start of our trip easier Daniel unlocked the door and had the lights turned on for us when we got there to ensure that we didn’t have any issues upon arrival. Very responsive and friendly! We loved chatting with you guys on our way out to go fishing! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cannot say enough about Mrs. Yvonne and this place. The view is stunning, the property and host were amazing and the activities near by were so easy to get to! Yvonne was super knowledgeable of the area and was always willing to help with any questions we had! If you visit Kodiak, this is a great place to stay!

This place was exactly as described — clean, functional, and super comfortable. Everything worked perfectly, and it had all the essentials. One of the better Airbnbs I’ve stayed in, for sure. Would absolutely book again!

Andre’s place was so cute and cozy! After fishing all day, Andrea’s place was a nice place to relax in a peaceful room. Also was a plus for me that they were dog friendly. Our pup goes everywhere with us!

Wendy’s place is a beautiful, super clean studio space. It’s private yet they are onsite if you need something. She checked on me a couple of times to see if I needed anything. She even provided a things to do list and places to eat. I highly recommend staying at this cute place in North Pole.

No complaints. I loved that the kitchen was very well stocked and there were plenty of useful condiments. Having the extra toiletries was very nice. Great location between Anchorage and Wasilla. Both Jeff and his wife were friendly and so very nice to meet.

This apartment is delightful. Quiet, extremely clean, spacious and close to several high schools which makes it easy to attend sporting events/tournaments. Kelly is an excellent host and I would highly recommend a stay. It’s a little slice of heaven!

Cute dry cabin. I did have cell service in the cabin so was able to make calls without issue. Walk up the small hill from the parking area and it’s right there rounded by trees birds and squirrels. Served its purpose for my time in the area and would go back for sure.

This might be my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The A-frame is beautiful—everything felt brand new, super clean, and thoughtfully done. We spent hours by the fire pit outside, which honestly felt like the best part of the trip. The beds were insanely comfortable—comfiest ever. Location was super convenient—right by the park entrance, with some good spots to eat just down the road, and only about 10 minutes into town. There’s something about this place that just feels special. Definitely one we’ll always remember.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed. The only negative comment would be the very uncomfortable pillows. Which made sleeping a little difficult. Otherwise nice stay.

A good, central location to a lot of activities! Reasonably priced and in a quiet area. Patsy was an excellent host, helping accommodate a special request and her cabin was extremely clean! The best Airbnb experience I’ve had! If we’re ever back in the area, I will be checking to see if there’s availability here first!

Nice cabin in the woods!

We loved our stay at this quintessential Alaskan cabin. Full of charm, handcrafted details and character, this place was perfect for our family. We had room to spread out and relax, and we enjoyed a paddle on Long Lake as recommended by Lawrence. We highly recommend this lovely cabin and Lawrence as a great host!!

This place is a must if you like being in nature…. We had moose each day we were there right beside the deck…. The cabin is really nice…
