Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Alaska

My family and I enjoyed staying at Diana’s place. It was very clean, modern and cozy. Neighbourhood is perfect for staying with children, and if you enjoy nature, peace and quiet. Diana helped with all questions and also suggested places to visit. I highly recommend staying at Diana’s airbnb!

Carrie brought homemade cookies when we checked in as well as a few footballs after she saw we had young boys. The pictures on the ad are a bit outdated but that means the place is way better than we expected as they have all new furniture. Very cozy cabin with all the needed amenities.

Looked newly remodeled and very clean. The flooring was easy to maintain. The best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen multiple coffee makers, smoothie maker, toaster, air fryer just to name a few of added appliances. The fireplace is a wonderful addition to make it feel cozy. Ample towels, pillows and bedding. All instructions were in the binder and very easy to follow. The location was great for us as we had family north and south of town. It’s close to library and recreation center too! Host was very responsive. Coming back to Ketchikan next Summer and hope to stay here again.

We had a great stay at C's home. It was perfectly sized for our family of 5 and within an easy and drivable distance to things to do. Our messages were promptly answered and C did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The guest Netflix account was a nice added touch we don't normally see in Airbnb's. It had snowed several inches overnight on our second night and we were impressed to see the driveway and sidewalk had been shoveled while we were out the next day. We will definitely return to this house for our future adventures in Anchorage.

Lowell point is an off the track kinda place. Millers was all about local which we loved. Our hike was on Lowell Pt . too.

I love that place, its mmy family and my second time staying there. It a cute place, just right for me and my family. It walking distance to downtown and restaurants. I felt at home since we stayed there before. Ill definitely stay there again and again. Thank you!!

Book it if you can. This place is perfect. There are sounds from an above unit but they did disrupt us. Great layout. And super lil coffee bar. Really quiet. Safe. And comfortable place.

Karl and the team were lovely hosts. During our extended stay we only had minor things that we reached out to them for. They were very responsive every time! Everything was tidied and all the major contact areas were well cleaned. It’s an older building with spruced up apartments. The updated bathroom was excellent. The kids had the rooms and we slept on the pull-out couch. It is firmer than the mattresses so that worked great for us. The neighborhood was wonderful for walking with children. The side yard was perfect to get their energy out. Even though it was by the airport and a larger road, we had no trouble with noise at night. The blackout curtains made it dark enough for our kids to go to bed on time. The West side of Anchorage is very bike friendly and quick access to the Coastal trail makes it easy to explore around downtown. You can also go to Lake Hood nearby to watch float planes take off. Check out the Aviation Museum! Happy to stay again when we come back to visit.

Place super clean very nice.Just like what you saw on the photos. I would 💯 recommend their place to anyone. The location was nice, and quite it wasn't what I expected to be from outside. But the moment I walked in, it made me feel like at home nice, clean, and cozy. If u are looking for a place in Alaska. Check them out.Won't be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our visit. Jonathan was super responsive and helpful throughout. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the location was great - close to everything we wanted to see and do. Highly recommend!

The only thing that could improve the unit is a bench by the front door, but other than that, this was perfect. You are close to shops and the neighborhood is quiet. Kirstyn was very welcoming and the unit was pristine. The beds are super comfy too.

This condo was exactly what we needed after a weeklong Alaskan cruise! It had all the thoughtful touches—tea, coffee, snacks, even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Extra blankets were a nice bonus, and the location and view are absolutely amazing! We enjoyed both exploring the area and relaxing in this lovely space. The host was fantastic, with great recommendations and a sweet card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

This was my first time staying at Jodi’s but it definitely won’t be our last! Great location near the heart of Girdwood and everything is in pretty minimal walking distance. Jodi was friendly, accommodating and the condo was spotless. HIGHLY recommend her spot!

Eddie was great to work with. The spot was perfect for what we needed. There were a couple of vanities that were missing and when we requested them, we got them immediately.

We booked this airbnb from Ohio. Janna was very responsive to our questions. We were looking for a place by the train station and this was perfect. It was a great location. We walked to the coastal trail and the anchorage Alaska museum. The walk to the train at 5:45 am was easy. The Airbnb was spotless. Some reviews complained about hearing the train but we heard nothing. It was very quiet. Janna actually had earplugs in the bedroom but we did not need them. I would give this place 6 stars if it were possible!
