Vacation rentals with a patio in Terlingua

Our stay at Stardust Big Bend was amazing. We had a great time and an easy 30mins drive to the national park. The space itself is well equipped and a slice of glamping in nature. We enjoyed the amenities and even utilized the clubhouse for some darts and air hockey. Overall the place is cute, the night sky looks stunning once you adjust your vision. The pods are spaced apart well so you don’t get any disturbances from the neighbors. The only two things to note are Frame #1 , where we stayed faces the road and this being the long weekend there was a lot of through traffic which hampered the quite of the night. I would recommend getting some of the other Frames as they are further inside. Also, because of the dry weather we kept getting a static shock when trying to open the doors. Nothing terrible but became a running joke btw my partner and I on who should touch the door handle first. Overall an excellent stay! Highly recommend

We loved Karen’s Chili Pepper Inn. The restaurant was so convenient and the room was clean and stocked with essential/emergency items. Karen provided a binder with local information and a guest book that was so sweet to read through. We had an incredible view of the mountains and stars which we took advantage of using the foldable chairs provided in our room. We were nearby lots of food options (we didn’t expect such long wait times but it seemed most restaurants here were greatly understaffed) and right by Big Bend where we hiked the Santa Elena Canyon (amazing!!) and a little Hot Springs trail. It was far too hot to get into the hot spring but it was a lovely walk. Overall, we’d stay at Chili Pepper Inn again if we come back!!

The location was ideal for exploring Big Bend and nearby Terlingua Ghost Town, which had a couple great bars and restaurants. The place was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to cook. Loved having the outdoor space to watch the sky!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the A frame which was perfect for the two of us. It had everything we needed. We cooked 2 of our meals and took a little adjusting to the stove top. The stargazing was fantastic, the 2 separate outdoor spaces were great for relaxing. We also utilized the community center which had a pool table, Foosball, air hockey and darts. The proximity to Big Bend was 15 min to the entrance and about 45 min to trails. Our favorite hike was the lost mine, you have to arrive before sunrise to get a parking spot or go later when it's super hot. We went Friday morning around 830 but were too late so went Saturday about 650 in the morning, and there were about 5 spaces left. The hosts were great at communicating before and during our stay. the helpful hints really made our drive and stay seamless. We would definitely stay here again.

Ashley’s place is the best choice I could ever found in surrounding area, private peaceful beautiful Mountain Views, and the plus sunny sunrise and sunset without any block. It’s close to the big bend national park. Some convenient stores at nearby Terlingua. The house just the right size for me to stay. Truly enjoyed everything here. Ashley even texted me to let me know I can early check in. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Absolutely fell in love with this gem of a place. Location, location so close to Big Bend National Park and across the street from multiple dining options including our absolute favorite, Venga! The house is done with beautiful wood craftsmanship and attention to detail. High end appliances, and toiletries made it feel so luxurious in the most beautiful natural setting. The view I cannot put in words of what a joy it was to experience every day. Coleman defines the art of hosting. He truly has created a beautiful oasis to experience such a beautiful area. Thank you Coleman. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place, beautiful art, great placement as according to the park.

Super responsive host. House is comfortable and well stocked. Appreciated details like a small bench in the bathroom and plenty of towels and TP. Kitchen has everything. House is 20 minutes from the highway so if quiet is what you are looking for, it’s got it. Enjoyed the front and back porches with comfy chairs on both. Comfortable furniture in the living room, too. Lots of throw blankets… Really well stocked house.

This place was great. Out in the middle of nowhere. The sky was perfect. Felt right at home and we had an absolute blast out here. Will definitely come again :-)

Jonathan was extremely helpful and accommodating of our schedule. He made it very easy to check in and check out. The cabin (#29) was very clean and had everything we needed. It was great having a full kitchen. There were window A/C units in every room that worked very well. I highly recommend this location if visiting Big Bend, as the cabin was only minutes away from the park entrance.

A beautiful stay! Everything was clean and pristine when we got there. Messaged back quickly for any questions/concerns we had. A great location!
