“Great location and Kathryn’s personal touch at home is easily felt. Everything is perfect. 9 miles to Marfa Lights, 30 miles to Prada store. Kathryn’s all suggestions on where to eat drink etc were perfect. Will come back again”

“Michael is the most helpful host we have ever had. We were travelling in a 1984 Westfalia and as cool as that may sound, a high clearance vehicle is more than necessary to make it to this oasis. After car battery issues, then getting stranded on the gravel road between Marfa and Ruidosa (I highly suggest taking another road, even if you’re in a more substantial car as it’s very, very remote...we saw 6 cars in 12 hours while waiting for help, two of which were border control), and then once again getting stuck on the road up to the house, Michael was always available and willing to help us out—calling a tow truck, a nearby friend, offering another home to stay in while stuck in Marfa. We ended up only staying in this incredible home for one night (as opposed to the planned three) but it was heaven. It was a perfect, well decorated, high desert ending to a more than eventful trip and we will absolutely be back, this time with a non-vintage car!”
