We enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb and would definitely come back again. The location is excellent—just a short and easy walk to town. We loved being able to grab coffee, shop, or go out to eat without needing a car. At the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful, and felt completely safe, even at night. The house itself is clean, spacious, and full of nice homely touches. It’s clear the host has put thought into making it comfortable, from soft blankets to a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well every night. One big plus was the strong and reliable WiFi, which was perfect for working remotely and streaming shows. The space is also great for relaxing, with a comfy living area and even a lovely little outdoor spot to enjoy the sun. Check-in was simple, and the host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. We would recommend to stay here.

This was a beautiful place and loved our stay. Our kids enjoyed the lake and house a lot - so much they started missing it once we left. Andrew was very helpful and proactive in communicating with us and made it very easy.

Great place to stay and day trip to Denali NP! Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Mom’s Thai restaurant and Jana’s coffee were both great options to grab food from that are within minutes of the Airbnb. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Kale’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Kale was incredibly welcoming and friendly to both my wife and our daughter, making us feel right at home. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with a unique mission and atmosphere that made our visit extra special. We truly appreciated the little touches and the care Kale puts into hosting. Our daughter especially enjoyed the family-friendly environment, and we all left with great memories. We’re already looking forward to booking another stay in the winter for a family dog sledding day—something we’re all excited about! Ora's property was wonderful. She set up the house and amenities with love and caring. The amount of thought she put into all the little details was nothing short of astonishing. She was incredibly responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at her property on your next visit to the Talkeetna area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mary Jo’s place. The cabin was easy to find and check in was also very easy. The cabin had everything we needed. We were thankful to be able to do some laundry after spending 10 days on the road already! From Mary Jo’s place it’s a very easy walk to the beach where we were lucky enough to get a good view of Denali! From there down town is also very easy to get to.

The guest house was near downtown making everywhere walkable! My kids loved the ping pong table and piano to play. Excellent choice with kids!

We had a great time at the property! The atmosphere is quaint. It is easy to find. The host is very timely with communication. The property is located in a wooded area close to Talkeetna. Very beautiful!

Loved this lakeside getaway! Definitely check out the host’s recommendations, Flying Squirrel Bakery/Cafe and Spinach Bread were highlights of the trip. Be aware this is a downstairs space so if the host is around you will hear normal living sounds (i.e. footsteps, music, etc.) but this was never a problem for us as it was always quiet during sleeping hours. It’s a beautiful location and feels very homey, the kitchen is lovely and set up well. The outdoor setup is great if you catch nice weather (it rained the whole time we were there). Perfect for a solo or pair of travelers looking to relax and still be near plenty of things to do. I would book it for a longer stay next time!

Sarah gave great directions. The town is very cute. The cottage was terrific for our needs. We only used the microwave and fridge. The shower is great! Bedding is comfortable. The cottage has an eclectic vibe, shabby chic and vintage furnishings. I would definitely stay again if in Alaska and would recommend to anyone.
