“This bus is awesome and located in the sweetest small town! The bus is equipped with everything you need, and extra thoughtful touches! The decor is fun and has real character. You can tell that Recebba and her family put a lot of thought and effort in renovating this bus. We arrived late on our first night and Rebecca put the heat and lights on for us before we arrived. The bed was really cozy too! Rebecca has a great list on the bus of suggestions for things to do and see in the area! We took her suggestion for a gorgeous hike and loved it!! We would love to return to stay here again in the future!”
Our cabin is bright and modern, yet comfortable and cozy. We can accommodate up to 7 guests. We have 2 bedrooms that offer queen beds, 2 daybeds and a click-clack sofa that makes a twin bed. Our kitchen is stocked with basic spices, coffee, tea and dishes. A 10 minute walk to historic downtown. Beach, mountain and trail access are all minutes away. It is not uncommon to see eagles, moose, bears, coyotes, harbor seals or beluga whales right out the window!
“Staying at this lovely home was a highlight on our travel to Alaska. The home was clean, relaxing, and beautiful. There are no words to describe the amazing view each day. We wanted to stay longer! Laura is a perfect host. We even got to meet her dogs and horse! We enjoyed the town of Hope as well. We are planning to return.”
Tucked in the woods, off the main road, Discovery Cabins is the perfect Alaskan getaway. With your own deck right on the creek deeply nestled in the woods, and a shared lodge with all the necessities, we're convinced you will love this place as much as we do.
“Cabin No. 1 was the perfect weekend getaway for our family (including two furry children!) The distance to all of the activities in Hope was perfect - we brought our bikes down and basically parked our truck the whole weekend and rode our bikes everywhere. The little river just outside the cabin was a lovely backdrop, and I was impressed at how sound-dampening the walls of the cabin were - once we shut our doors we couldn't hear the outside world at all. The bathhouse was incredibly clean and had nice large spaces for drying off and getting dressed after showering. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Hope! Thanks!”
