“Sierra’s place is fabulous! Very cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Beautiful views... we watched a moose in the backyard and caught a glimpse of the northern lights from the deck. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Want to feel the love of family and the power of nature? You've found the right place! Jim and Karin are magnificent hosts and truly generous people. As soon as I arrived I had the warm feeling of being at home. And speaking of warmth, since their cute and charming little apartment has floor heating, the place always felt at the perfect temperature. The views from the windows were beyond stunning. Even the moose congregate on the property to enjoy the spectacular views, although I am sure they are there for other reasons, such as the fact that they know Jim and Karin respect nature deeply and value it wholeheartedly. ***Extra WOW note: I did not expect Jim to loan me his cross-country ski gear and snowshoes too! That act of generosity really touched my heart. Karin even guided me (I followed her in my truck) to a great place to ski. Jim gave me suggestions about the best places to snowshoe and view the aurora. Although the aurora colors were not doing their marvelous dance, I sure was because I was so happy to be in a warm and cozy place that felt like home. Who needs the colors of the aurora when you have bright and beautiful people like Jim and Karin as hosts?”
Beautiful tiny home, built in January 2019 by talented local builder, many guests have fallen in love with this home.
“It’s just a nice quiet place to recharge! We bbq steaks! And just enjoyed the r and r. Absolutely will stay again! We travel to Fairbanks often and like to stay the night this was perfect! It was very homey and comfortable! It’s a dry cabin but Allan has fresh water 💦 on the counter for drinking and washing dishes in the sink. Things were simple but but very unique! Love having coffee on the porch watching scrappy the squirrel eat seeds😁”
