“The only reason I marked a star off in accuracy because the pictures did not do this beautiful place justice. Far more gorgeous inside than we realized. Exquisitely decorated, very clean, perfect view of the glacier, wonderful host, and thoughtful/stylish touches. Fresh flowers! Local guide tips! Handwritten note!! It doesn’t get any better than this and do not think for one moment we won’t be back for another relaxing weekend. Thank you, Jennifer and family.”

“I wouldn't change a single thing about this place! Mandy was easy to get ahold of before we left to make sure we had directions, etc. and she was there to meet us when we arrived. The location is incredible: amazing views, peaceful, surrounded by wilderness! The tent was immaculate and cozy. Nights were cold but the bed was so comfy and warm that we didn't even notice. Breakfast was delicious and we added on a dinner one night that was out of this world! I can't say enough good things about our experience and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Mandy!!”
New Alaska Mandates are that guest must be tested 72 hours before arriving or at the airport upon arrival. Our cozy log Cub Cabin welcomes guests to the Glacier View area. Come relax in our quiet neighborhood after sight seeing, glacier trekking or just traveling through! Ruff it in our dry cabin, without running water. There are 3 rental cabins on the property. Each has space around them, but part of the yard is shared by all. The cabins are in a small community.
“Listing as described. This is all written in Brolene's listing but I will write it here again: There is no running water, but Brolene has provided drinking water. There is an outhouse. If either of these things would upset you, don't stay here. The cabin shares the small lot with a few other cabins and a main house, so you will not be 'alone in the wilderness'. The lot is in a small, rural neighborhood with a few other houses. Having said that, the neighborhood was extremely quiet when I stayed, and when standing on the front porch of the cabin you can see quite a beautiful piece of the Chugach, though you should do some hiking (or simply drive the highway) to see more. Though it is a neighborhood, the neighborhood is very remote and surrounded and enveloped by the beautiful Talkeetna and Chugach mountains. Everything was clean and orderly, and the cabin was quite warm and nice. Brolene was a very kind host, and I really appreciated it when she provided information to help me on my ramblings through the wilderness in that area.”
