We cant say enough about the stay at Marielle’s place. Started with some delicious soft baked brownies, an impeccably clean space, fully stocked kitchen. The surroundings are breathtaking and the house has such a peaceful vibe to it. The views of the ocean and trees is idyllic and we sat there drinking coffee for a sweet amount of time. The home is also stocked with bathroom essentials, hot tub, and fantastic coffee options (coffee beans, espresso, brew). We felt perfectly at home, serene, and wish would have stayed even longer! One of the best airbnbs we’ve been to.

Tammy’s place is a wonderful home to stay at while visiting the area. It is comfortable and clean with plenty of room for several people. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The backyard is very inviting and the hot tub is a nice perk. Tammy provided clear instructions and was responsive. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house and host! We traveled to Monterey with our three children and my mother in law. House was comfortable for all of us. The backyard was such a lovely space. Hot tub was awesome. Location was close to downtown Monterey, warf, aquarium while also being in a quiet residential neighborhood. Also a short trip to Carmel. Host was very responsive. We would stay here again!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! We came here for a relaxing getaway to celebrate our 20th marriage anniversary. The accommodations were top-notch, and the decor truly set the perfect ambiance for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need and an impressive spice rack! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — it was amazing and the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Point Lobos. The views from the property were breathtaking, offering a peaceful, serene backdrop and magical sunsets. Karin was incredibly responsive and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape. We would definitely like to return in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Ali’s home. They were very responsive to all questions and requests. The location was perfect, very walkable to downtown and also the boardwalk, but private and peaceful at the same time. A perfect spot to explore and enjoy Santa Cruz!

What a great house in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house layout was perfect for our family gathering and the kitchen is well appointed. I will keep this house in mind for the next visit!

Near the Morgan Hill Downtown which has a lot of food options and entertainment.

Wow! What a gorgeous beach house. We LOVED Heather's place; it was a (very) short walk to the beach and coffee shops like Cat and Cloud (my favorite). The house itself was spotless and welcoming. Bed was super comfy too. Heather was a tremendous host - friendly and helpful. We will be returning over and again. Thank you for making our stay awesome!

This place easily earns 5 stars for its superior location, but Claire doesn’t stop there. Warm and welcoming touches everywhere go above and beyond. Warm and responsive communications are a real comfort in these days of chatbots and customer service humans who sound and act robotic. Easy walk to all the charm, scenic waterfront boardwalk, eclectic mix of high end boutiques and regular people shops that Capitola has to offer. Plenty of eating options within walking distance. A few short scenic miles up the road and you are in Santa Cruz. 7 out of 5 Stars.

This was our third stay at the Blue Whale Bungalow, and it remains our favorite place to stay in Rio del Mar! Mariam is a wonderful and generous host who immediately remembered our family and welcomed our two dogs. The Blue Whale Bungalow is clean and cozy, with everything you need to enjoy the beach or relax indoors. It is located just two blocks from the beach, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze, search for sea glass, and admire the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to visiting the Blue Whale Bungalow very soon!

Very beautiful spotless place. Very responsive host and easy to communicate with. Have everything that you need to cook if you want to. 5 minutes walking to the beach but peaceful neighborhood. We are definitely come back and stay here if we ever come back to Santa Cruz

This place was so cute and we loved staying here! It was in a great location within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and the beach. Ashlie was a great host and was really responsive and gave us a great recommendation to see some redwoods. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Roberto's place was in a perfect location with easy access to everything we needed. The response to my one question was quick. The house was great. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to the area.

I had a lovely stay. I work overnights and cherish quiet places like this. I almost can never sleep during the day without ear plugs and a noise machine. It was so peaceful! The hot tube and outdoor shower are amazing. The host was very friendly and responsive. They talked on the phone with me twice, once before I got there, and once after, but left me to my privacy. Honestly couldn't think of a single improvement. The house is clearly lived in and has everything you could think of. The bedrooms are older, but that's part of the charm. I spent most of my afternoons waking up on the deck or throwing the ball for my dogs. I wish I could stay here every time!

What a great find in an out of the way place. Would love to come in summer but honestly, it was great cool weather to enjoy the house and view of the ocean. Saw seals and dolphins and birds, barely any humans! Best find was Pezzini Farms right outside the colony. Go there for good food!

She was very responsive and provided clear instructions, making everything smooth from start to finish. The place looked exactly like the photos in the listing, and we loved being able to walk down to the beach to play all day, then wind down at night listening to the sound of the ocean. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

Great place to stay! Jessica's place is comfortable, spacious and a cozy home-away-from-home in a nice quiet family neighborhood. Close enough to shops, beach, adventures and outings, but perfect for both quiet down-time and restoration, and our family meals and game nights. Check-in was a breeze, communication was effortless and easy, and felt that Jessica's home was hard to leave. We highly recommend Jessica's place and would love to stay again when our family gathers to this beautiful redwood location!
