Townhome vacation rentals in Monterey Bay

Cilia's home is located in a quiet area which makes it ideal for having a restful evening after a busy day. She went above and beyond to accommodate me, and even allowed me to stay a bit past check out due to my flight being rescheduled to a later time. The area is low key, which worked perfectly for me because i work overnights so it was very peaceful while I was on my shift. Most things are within relatively close proximity if you don't mind walking a bit. I highly recommend staying here, and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be doing so myself.

This was my second stay with Sherry, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, Sherry made me feel completely at home with her warm, accommodating nature. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable, and her hospitality is unmatched. The house itself is consistently spotless—clean, tidy, and well-maintained. It’s clear Sherry takes great pride in keeping everything in top shape. This is our second stay at this property. We occupied two units. There is always plenty of space, and it was clean and ready to go. We enjoyed the little details: plush towels, the “nice” TP, etc :) Thanks for hosting us - we’d come back if you’ll have us.

We really enjoy staying with Tracy. She’s very kind and hospitality, makes our stay enjoyable. The room and place is clean with a good taste of design art decoration. Considering the price and location, I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely condo, back from the street, so relatively quiet. Clear instructions, roomy. The place was much better decorated than other AirBnBs, with vintage Santa Cruz photos and lovely Santa Cruz art posters. We’ll definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Its a Shore Thing!! The home has been updated so nicely! We all felt right at home as we enjoyed fun evenings and a great launching pad for our day excursions!! Being a quick walk from the beach was fabulous!!

I had a wonderful stay at Jaya's place. She is incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view—exactly what I was hoping for. This place is amazing!! My parents and I rented this place for the weekend to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. The location is so peaceful and it was amazing to stay RIGHT on the beach. My mom is not very mobile so it was nice that she was able to enjoy the beach from the balcony without having to be on it. You could also tell there was a lot of care put into the place, overall made the weekend very special for all of us. We can't wait to come back!

My son stayed at Soheila's place for 14 weeks during his internship. She was a great host and made it very comfortable for my son to feel at home away from home. Her occasional homemade dinners and desserts were delicious additions to all the recommendations she made for restaurants around the area. She was extremely accommodating and made sure the place was cleaned biweekly.

This home was absolutely beautiful. Right on the water. Everything inside the house was clean stocked with utensils. Had some of the best sleep here. Very peaceful.

The home was very clean and comfortable, I definitely felt like it was a home away from home. There were also a wide variety of spices available in the kitchen, which was convenient. The beddings and towels were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This is an awesome place to stay!! Literally less than 5 mins to walk to heart of Capitola wharf, surfing & restaurants, yet quietly tucked away on the river. They had a canoe and launch site right there at the house, plus we brought kayaks & surf boards. Beautiful, shady, quiet area to canoe/kayak that feels very private, as no public access on river. House fit the 6 of us well. All beds and furniture a bit worn, but super comfortable!! Kitchen has what you need to cook and eat with, but no supplies of spices, etc…You have to provide all, but if you forget, like us, Safeway, Nob Hill, even local liquor store had milk/creamer, condiments, etc…had it all & very close. Car port only fit a smaller car & rest of us used the local lot that was a 5 min walk away if you take the back streets, but you do have to pay daily for that lot. Overall, great trip and great house, the privacy feel yet literally just around the corner from the heart of town was such a blessing for our family get away!

Our second stay at this cute townhouse. It’s wonderful because it’s centrally located when you have a lot of family to visit in the area. It’s a great walking neighborhood with walkable access to the grocery store and ice cream shop. It is a very clean and comfortable space to stay in as a family of 4. Thank you so much!

nice quiet location. responsive hosts. overall nice experience. recommendations: a water heater or a coffee machine would be nice. and if you guys had a washer/dryer, could have easily charged $10/night more.

This was a great property right on the beach. We saw the pictures and we loved the location when we booked it. The check-in instructions are very easy. I wish the keys would be somewhere on the property rather than pick up from office. But it was not too much of an inconvenience given that it was barely 10 minutes drive. The house was more than what was advertised on the listing. They were well equipped with appliances and condiments in the kitchen. It was very clean on the beach. They had toys and chairs to go on the beach. We just spent our time relaxing at the place and connecting with our friends. They were flexible with our checkout time as well. The hosts were super responsive on the app whenever we had a question overall, I highly recommend this place. It is definitely Something that we would love to return to.
