Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lahaina

We had a fabulous time in Maui and coming “home” everyday to Joe & De’s was just like coming home. Grateful for them sharing their little slice of paradise. It was welcoming and comfortable and we will stay again next time we visit the islands. Mahalo!

This is a cozy and convenient cottage near Wailea (although technically I think it is in Kihei). It is very convenient to all the beautiful southern beaches. Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. Even though he was out of town, Peter was very responsive. There are ample accommodations and a cozy little deck for breakfast munching. Jim was pleasant and Timmy the cat was kind enough to show us to our place and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure all was well.

This condo has the perfect location right next to the beach at an affordable price! The hosts communicated everything well from check in to check out. Hope to stay here again!

This place is absolutely great for family and friends. Great view ans Steps away from the ocean. 1 block from t9 or so food trucks and shopping, and the food is on point. Cheapest Gas on the island 1block away and a grocerystore3 blocks away. The kitchen has anything you need to cook and the knives are sharp!!! My pet peve. Bathrooms are great as well. Angela was super easy to get hold of. We left some medication in the fridge and the cleaning crew kept it for our son to pick up the day after we left! This is. Five star operation, not high rise 5 star hotel stuff but utia 100% worth the money. Don't count it out!

Absolutely beautiful property. It was perfectly away from the hussle and bussle, but close enough to cute little towns, resturants, beaches, Hana HWY, the National Park. It was also nice to have some great amenities and extras for activities while we stayed. Having our own 'home' while on vacation without breaking the bank. We ran into John while he was outside with Grace (their adorable fur baby) and she was the sweetest as he was as well as my boyfriend asked questions and complimented on the property. They were respectful to not barge in on our time or hover. They gave great insturctions/recommendations posted on the fridge for pur stay as well. Would definitely stay here again if when i visit maui in the future.

This is our fourth stay at Mary Anne’s. She is accommodating and when we are here it feels like home. We love the location centrally located and the place we call paradise.

The building, at the north end of Sugar beach, in Kihei, right on the water, was in a beautiful location to experience daily gorgeous sunsets and the clean sandy beach. The grounds which featured a pool, barbecues, chairs and lounge chairs were well trimmed. The apartment was nicely furnished, filled with all amenities (coolers, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, sunglasses, hats, sunblock, aloe vera lotion...) needed for a great stay at the beach. The elevators were clean and functional, and there were carts to facilitate transfer of luggage from the parking lot to our apartment. The owner had developed a very detailed guide that helped us operate the various pieces of equipment in the apartment. In addition, she was very responsive to various questions we had on check-in. There was also a local representative who proved helpful when a very rare power failure caused some issues. In summary, this is a wonderful place I strongly recommend to relax and enjoy the beautiful Maui weather

Gal’s place was wonderful. We enjoyed staying there taking Maui’s beauty and especially kihei’s in and then even extending our stay. We’d always come back and will definitely recommend his place. The place is just as pictured. We were grateful for the beach equipment and also that there was a washing machine and dryer that we could use. He and the staff of the place took really good care of us. Don’t hestitate - it’s really the place to be.

Lori was friendly and responsive from start to finish. Was able to check in earlier than expected which was a great surprise. Beautiful unit. Clean, comfortable, and a wonderful location that was walking distance from the beach. Would absolutely stay again.

The new Kula Jewel is an amazing property with an incredible panoramic view of the island with an exceptionally cozy and spacious interior and a lovely porch. The main living area and kitchen were beautifully designed and highly functional which made us feel at home. The master bedrooom was so relaxing with a great mattress and was made even better when opening the windows at night and listening to the gentle rhythm of raindrops falling. The master bathroom design was brilliant. Pamela and the property manager Jim made sure our young daughter was well taken care of by setting up a comfortable pullout twin size bed in the Master so she could stay in the same room with us and not be scared. The other two bedrooms were spacious and well equipped, we just didnt need to use them. Pamela is the best host we have ever had the pleasure of working with on Airbnb. Her commnication was superb, recommendations for what to do and where to eat on the island spot on, and we cant wait to come back!

Carolyn’s place was perfect for my husband and I. Plenty of space. Across the street from the beach, where we saw beautiful sunsets every night. There are plenty of amenities like a full kitchen (we don’t really cook on vacation, but the full sized fridge with ice trays in the freezer was really helpful) and a washer and dryer. The location cannot be beat if you like to walk to dinner and shopping. There is a food truck area along with lots of restaurants easy to get to. There is also a nice pool and a designated parking spot. Carolyn is very responsive to messages as well. We will definitely stay again when back in Maui.

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Elise and Bruce's condo. Explored different beaches (walkable and drive to), did some biking, hiking, many books read, weather perfect as it usually is in S Kihei, enjoyed sunsets at the pool, and cribbage matches on the lanai after a day outside. Appreciated some food staples already in the cupboards and Safeway store not far away. Tried a Bruce-recommended Sushi restaurant (Avo was the name, I believe in Wailea) which we liked and also pre-booked at Star Noodle in Lahaina to enjoy another wonderful asian meal, otherwise cooking in and at the condo community BBQ. Well set up for a small family and recommend it.

Great place - will stay again. Complex is nice, quiet and very cleaen. BBQs, small pool. Parking is easy. Walk across to beach and sunset :)

Overall good place to stay- very large and open layout. Clean and had most everything we needed. Walkable to many restaurants, shops and a park. Parking was good, fairly quiet street. Had lots of extra beach stuff to use (cooler, 2 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, swimming stuff, snorkeling stuff)

April’s place was everything we needed for our week stay in Maui. Close to everything yet peaceful. We loved having the private lanai and access to the complex hot tub, while being a 5 minute walk away from the beach.

Manolo is a very helpful and proactive host. He made sure that we were okay and had everything we needed. House is pretty, with a beautiful yard. Manolo has snorkeling equipment, flippers, boogie boards, etc. House is close to the restaurants of Paia Bay (10 min walking), which is great because parking is always a problem in Maui.

This place had special touches in it that made it feel like home like birthday candles and special utensils to use on the kitchen as well as beach amenities that we could use with our family.

Great location, nice condos, right on the golf course. Two pools onsite as well. Easy 5 minute walk to Wailea shops…another 5 minute walk to the beach!

Very nice place! It’s right across from the beach and very close to great food. The apartment is very cozy and had AC.

The place was just as described. It was within walking distance to a really nice beach. The chairs/umbrella for the beach were great and we used them extensively. We really liked that the washer and dryer were in the unit so we had fresh towels when needed. Would definitely come back
