Enjoy a sunset sail with the Pacific Whale Foundation, a nonprofit working to save the whales and our ocean environment since 1980. Hosted by the Foundation's certified Marine Naturalists, this sunset sail is sure to a favorite memory from your time on Maui! Departing from the historic Lahaina Harbor, view the stunning sunset over the Pacific Ocean with the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the backdrop. Live ukulele music will be playing on the boat to set the mood for this beautiful sail. You will be aboard our luxury sailing catamaran, Ocean Spirit. First we will meet up and check the surf before going down to the beach for the land lesson. I will go over safety, etiquette and some surfing culture. You will learn techniques necessary to catch waves. With the boards still on land you will practice paddling, popping up, and the proper stances. When you're ready we will take the boards to the ocean. Be prepared to exert some energy and ride some exhilarating waves! Maui Goat Yoga is much more than just a yoga class -- it's about removing yourself from day to day stress and anxiety and focusing on optimistic and happy thoughts and feelings. It's about health, wellness, smiles...and goats! Our miniature goats are very friendly and love to cuddle and play with guests both during and after class. . There is a 5 to 10 minute introduction of the goats and "goat etiquette (goat awareness / behavior)". Then 30 to 40 minutes of yoga class / therapy and the rest of the time is goat therapy / playtime. Our classes are geared for all levels, beginner to advanced who know how to adjust poses to their liking. Total experience time is 1 hour 30 minutes. Winter on Maui is a truly magical time. We get to welcome back our part-time residents, the Humpback Whales! Being able to spend time with these gentle giants in their natural habitat is an experience you will never forget. Our Kayak Whale Watch & Snorkel Tours are hands down the best way to encounter these majestic creatures. The kayaks put us on the whale's level, which allows us to hear the whales breathe and even sing. Baby humpbacks or calves are extremely curious and have been known to come right up to the kayaks, as long as mama isn't too strict. Married Scuba Instructor couple, Alex & Emmy, offer the safest and most intimidate INTRO SCUBA DIVE on all of Maui. We are also the most experienced and qualified scuba instructors on AirBNB. We specialize in small group scuba trips with our decades of diving experience, working & diving all around the world, and thousands of scuba customers over the years. This is a unique diving experience to blow bubbles underwater and see cool aquatic life hoping to see turtles while scuba diving. New divers and certified divers are welcomed, non-swimmers/novice swimmers are welcomed (see guest requirements), and for ages 10 & older. Your experience will start at Olowalu Beach on the West Side of Maui in the Lahaina area. There you will be briefed for 15 minutes on the fundamentals of scuba diving. Then you will go into the water and practice using the scuba equipment and complete three basic scuba diving skills in shallow, pool-like conditions, in the water. After the completion of the three scuba skills, you will go on a fun dive to a maximum depth of around 30 feet around the reef. After the dive, we will go back to enjoy some refreshments and snacks and share what we saw from our dive. The experience should be done within 2+/- hours. You will go on a 40+ minute scuba dive to Olowalu "Turtle Town" and see turtles sleeping, being cleaned, eating & swimming around. We specialize in small group scuba trips with our decades of diving experience, working & diving all around the world, and thousands of scuba customers over the years. This is a unique diving experience to see turtles while scuba diving. New divers and certified divers are welcomed. You must be able to swim for this experience and ages 10 & older. (We offer another experience for beginner swimmers / non-swimmers called Maui Scuba Diving for Beginners.) This experience is aimed at seeing TURTLES and hopefully lots of TURTLES. Your experience will start at Olowalu Beach on the West Side Maui in the Lahaina area. There you will be briefed for 15 minutes on the fundamentals of scuba diving. Then you will go into the water and practice using the scuba equipment and complete three basic scuba diving skills in shallow, pool-like conditions, in the water. After the completion of the three scuba skills, you will go on a fun dive to a maximum depth of around 30 feet around the reef. Whether you've swam before and have never experienced snorkeling, we'll get you trained and comfortable in no time to experience an amazing first-time snorkeling. All our instructors are all experienced, lifeguard-certified professionals who have taught students of all ages and levels. So, join us for a lesson/tour at Wailea beach in Kihei or Baby Beach in Lahaina a perfect environment for beginners with beautiful coral reef and marine life such as the green sea turtle. How it works? Your snorkeling class/tour starts from the beach where you meet your certified tour guide and instructor. You will spend between 10-30 minutes on the shoreline with us in shallow water with a life jacket where you can stand learning about snorkeling, mask, and fins. We will hold your hands if necessary and teach you one on one. This practice makes you comfortable in the water so you can float freely. Once you have learned how to breathe with a snorkel and float on the surface of water, we will take you in search of turtles and other marine life to the very close reef where you are holding to our rescue board while the instructor is next to you. Maui's easiest and most beginner friendly SCUBA diving experience at our Island's best shore diving location, Turtle Town. No need for any previous experience or certifications. This Is a really fun and easy class for anyone!!! You dont need to be artistic to make something amazing on the potter’s wheel. The throwing explanation and demonstrations will walk you through the process step by step in 3 phases: 1. Centering-getting the clay centered 2. Opening -forming the bottom 3. Pulling-making the walls of the vessel After walking through the first pot you will have time to play and practice more on your own. There is plenty of time for practicing and people make on average between 1-3 pots. The design of this class is to feel the almost magical experience of turning spinning clay into something functional like a cup or bowl. After your class I can finish, glaze, and fire the pots you choose to keep for a small shipping and firing fee. I can ship domestic or international depending on where you live. So no matter where you are from you can still get your hand made creations delivered.
