The apartment was even better than the pictures displayed. It was extremely spacious and aesthetically pleasing— especially for a studio! It was clean, had a lot of amenities (including a patio), was easy to find / get into, and the host was very kind and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back again!

Great airbnb and location. The house was exactly as described, and Derek was very communicative throughout the process. The pool was lovely, especially to cool off on a hot day.

Modern Apartment in Hip Montrose
This was an amazing stay, from the home to the host. The home was extremely clean and very nice, the host provided so many extra things to make our stay more comfortable. Zenobia and all the cohost were so kind, and left such clear instructions that any question I had was already answered! Overall, this was such an amazing stay and I would highly recommend.

Weiyang’s place felt like home away from home. It is in a great location with restaurants and shops nearby, but still in a peaceful neighborhood. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities needed for a short stay. Weiyang was responsive and accommodated a late check out. Overall a great stay and I would recommend the place to others.
Places to stay in Houston

Skyline Luxury Suite
My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and it felt like home. The kitchen has all the basic necessities for cooking. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bedroom was cozy and was able to watch tv before calling it a night. The view of downtown was beautiful especially being able to see a nice basketball court next to the Toyota Center. I would definitely rebook.

Cozy Luxe- NRG, Med Center & Downtown
What a beautiful condo and very close to medical center, galleria, restaurants, and so easy to get to anywhere. Amazing host and we felt like home. Highly recommended anyone to stay here during their Houston visit.

The Texian Cabin
We visited Scarlett’s place on a Saturday-Monday to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday and we fell in love with this peaceful home. We truly felt like it was a home away from home. Our kids loved the alpacas, sheep and goats on the property and it was extremely helpful that Scarlett had more feed delivered for us the next day so we can continue the fun of feeding the animals! Loved everything about our trip! We don’t live too far away so we will be back often!

The host went above and beyond with their communication and hospitality, offering local recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was perfect and peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to everything we wanted to explore. One of our favorite parts was the cozy and peaceful rooftop. Our favorite gathering space for drinks and laughs. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you for creating such a lovely space!

Inner Loop Retreat-Modern/Chic
Melissa’s home is BEAUTIFUL. I worked from the dining room on Friday and we spent the evenings watching movies in the living area, and it felt very homey. The bathroom was fantastic as well and everything was spotless and comfortable. This is not a place for little kids, being a townhouse with open stairs, but it was a perfect retreat for us.

Spacious 4BR Home w/ King Suite-Near Katy/ Houston
This host was very understanding and considerate. Our comfort was their up most priority. I highly recommend.

Gorgeous home in North Houston
We had a wonderful stay in this home in Houston. Be was very responsive and helpful and made us feel welcome. There were a couple of times we needed to reach out to her and she was responsive and helpful. Overall, everything you need to know is on Airbnb. The home was as described and exceeded expectations we had from the listing. The kitchen is super well appointed - stocked with starter supplies needed for those who need coffee first thing in the morning. The bedrooms very comfortable. The bathrooms all renovated with modern fixtures. The place we loved the most was the outdoor area. Many doors out to the backyard, beautiful pool, several seating areas, all very quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Within a few miles, were a lot of restaurants and retail outlets. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for this kind of home.

H-TOWN HQ-Large Home in Safe Area w/ Private Pool!
Nicholas’s place is absolutely awesome. With the accommodation of the garage being an entertainment room, it was great to take my family on a staycation. Everything was clean and up to par and the pool was magnificent. We were able to grill out and enjoy the weekend with all the amenities this place brings.. great location and the neighbors were great. No issues with us playing our music and enjoying our time . I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away or enjoying the experience it brings . Thanks Nicholas

Waterfront Lonestar Cabin in a Magical Forest!
We had a wonderful time at the magical forest. It was a good getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Everything was just as described. We lit a fire and enjoyed chatting out on the deck overlooking the water. I flipped the canoe the first day we were there and had everyone rolling. At the time I didn’t think it was so funny. The water was a bit cold at first! I enjoyed the feeding the fish and just the peace and quiet of it all. We walked the trails and swam in the pool. I noticed that there was wedding arbor which looked like a great spot for a country wedding. AC kept it nice and cool and the WiFi was very strong. Plenty of stuff to watch and steaming services to use when you want to relax and watch something. We loved the high ceilings and windows overlooking the water and the morning sun shining through. This is a great place to get away and Aimee was a great host. She was quick to respond the few times we had questions. Loved our trip to Magical Forest!

HOUSE w/private POOL
Book it! Extremely relaxing and comfortable space for families or friends. Loida is an extremely gracious and welcoming hostess! You will definitely enjoy the home.

The Leafy Lounge-Large Home w/ Heated Indoor Pool
Great spot to rent. Pool was amazing!! Really cute home! 10/10 would do it again!

Ranch Style Home- Family Friendly Cozy/Quiet
Samuel and Claudia were wonderful hosts! Very prompt responses, always super cheerful and helpful in every way. The airbnb was spacious and nice, and located in the city close to where we needed to be. Lots of great food and coffee places about a 10 - 15 minute drive away as well as a very nice HEB for groceries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Your guide to Houston
Introduction
Southern culture weaves through America’s fourth-largest city, an enormous metropolis that people from around the world call home. From its location on the Gulf of Mexico, it embodies the stereotype of everything being bigger in Texas, while also taking everything slow, as befits its Southern nature. The city is home to Rice University, the University of Houston, and NASA and much of the American space industry, while an exciting culinary scene stems from the many immigrant entrepreneurs. Downtown Houston’s bustling urbanity hosts a variety of professional sports teams, theaters, and live music venues, while suburbs offer slower options, like the greenery of Pearland, or the small-town feel of Sugar Land and Cypress.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Houston
Houston’s spring tends to be pleasant, with average high temperatures in the 70s Fahrenheit and lows in the 50s and the least amount of rain of the year. Winter is a bit cooler, but similarly comfortable. Summer teeters toward extremely hot, with average highs hitting the mid-90s and the lows staying well above 70 degrees, accompanied by significant humidity. The hot weather comes in tandem with the rain — especially in June, which averages more than six inches. Summer also brings hurricane season in Houston, which can bring wild rains until fall — so you should always be aware of the current forecasts when visiting.

Buffalo Bayou Park
This 160-acre park is located along a 2.3-mile stretch of the Buffalo Bayou near downtown. You can hike, stroll, bike, or paddle here; boat and kayak rentals are available. Along with traditional park amenities, the space includes a decorative fountain and a bat colony with observation deck, while a dog park, nature play area for kids, and a skate park mean the park has something for everyone.
Houston Museum District
Just outside the city’s downtown core, the Museum District brings together many of Houston’s most important cultural institutions. The walkable neighborhood features 19 institutions, including the Museum of Fine Arts, one of the biggest art museums in the country; a children’s museum; museums that focus on local African-American, Czech, and Asian culture; and a chapel.
