Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Guadalupe River

The house was PERFECT for our graduation celebration with family and friends. All of the amenities were spot on - including the pool and hot tub, the size of the property with all of the trees, and the large kitchen, long island and spacious dining room. We were blessed with a beautiful orange sunset off the back of the deck which was the icing on the cake. I would definitely rent this house again.

We had an amazing family friendly vacation at Streamside Retreat. The home was spotless, very well organized, and everything was clearly labeled, which made settling in easy. Despite the 100+ degree weather, all the rooms stayed perfectly cool and comfortable. Our 5-year-old had an absolute blast in the playroom and especially loved the doggie door! The kids had so much fun swimming and kayaking in the river, roasting marshmallows, and even catching a few fish. It was such a peaceful, memorable stay. Denise was incredibly prompt and helpful throughout. We will absolutely be repeat customers. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed just being at this house. We sat out back in the evening on the deck enjoying the nature that surrounded us. We felt like we were in a treehouse out there. Our first morning we were greeted by the most adorable deer with babies in tow. The house was cute as could be and very comfortable. The host were proactive and polite. We will for sure come back next year!

Had a great stay. It was a bachelor party with 12 guys and we needed a place to stay that was close to the river and had great amenities. The pictures are spot on. The communication was top notch, everything was clean and in excellent condition. Instructions were clear, entry was easy. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit but the pool and hot tub were both excellent. The pool table in the downstairs area also got some good use. Good experience, would recommend!

The place was extremely clean and the location was great. We used the patio area , the bbq pit, the jacuzzi and we also watched movies at night and the internet was working great. We had an amazing time and we had everything we needed we even got an extra day and we didn’t have any issues Melinda was a great helper and she answered very quick. We will definitely wish to go again any time soon :)

Perfect location for wedding weekend at Park 31. Made things so much easier for my family and we had a great time on the property.

What a perfect home to stay at in the hill country. The home is exquisite. Lexi designed the home and her husband built it. It could not be more beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor fire place was great for long conversations and s’mores. 10/10 would recommend to others.

Great getaway with my toddler kids. We really enjoyed the pool and the area the space. We were far from others that we weren't stressed or concerned when our kids were being loud. We paid a little extra for the firewood and we made s'mores with th campfire. Great place and had an easy checkin and checkout process. Thank you to our host for making our mini vacation memorable.

This was a great getaway weekend for my husband and I. The house was perfect! We loved the privacy this house offered. It was a great place to unwind and disconnect for a couple of days. We would definitely recommend this house for your perfect little hideaway!

We loved our stay at Kim's ranch! The house had so many daily necessities that all I needed to do was order my groceries. The kids were never bored and Otis was too cute. If we're ever back in the area, I know where we're staying. 😊

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lyle’s condo. Our family had plenty of space, a pool and river to enjoy, and lots of in-unit tools. My family noted many times how helpful it was the way Lyle kept the places stocked with all sorts of kitchen tools - it made making food here a breeze. Lyle was super helpful and communicative - would stay here again.

This home is exactly like pictured. Incredibly clean. Hosts are very responsive, kind, and helpful. My biggest praise for the home would have to be how incredibly well stocked it is. Everything you could think, they provided. As a busy traveling family with small children, this was so wonderful. We didn’t need to unpack much other than our clothes. Would definitely stay again!

When my girlfriend and I stayed at this place we were amazed at how the treehouse looked. Words cannot explain how amazing this place was. Two days is not enough, you need at least a week!! Would recommend to anyone looking to have a good time in the wilderness and connect with nature :)

Such a great location, easy walk to downtown, river and pool access, and right by schillerbahn. The place was clean, spacious, and pretty much already childproof/safe. We felt so comfy and at home!

Absolutely worth it! Susan was very responsive when I had questions. The house was so beautiful and clean. We were able to relax and enjoy the pool. The view was amazing. I wish the house was a little bigger for more people. Aside from that it was perfect and would definitely recommend and return.

This home is so charming. You feel at home. The beds and furniture are clean and comfortable. Being on the river is so peaceful and refreshing. Irises were in full bloom adding to the beautiful Springtime surroundings. The host has provided such a thoughtful and gracious accommodation.

This home is exactly as listed. Felix was very attentive and helpful, he answered all of our questions and returned multiple phone calls. He is very passionate about the history and quality of the home and is willing to help whenever possible. Our dogs absolutely loved it, especially the easy walk to the lake. The backyard was not fully fenced, but our dogs are off leash trained so it wasn’t as issue. We loved the many restaurants around as well.

In all my years of staying in really beautiful places all over the country, this perfect little cabin on the Medina River is maybe my favorite. I stayed for three nights and almost couldn't bear to leave. Even my dog was depressed when I started packing. The cabin is thoughtfully appointed--love all the 1950s, Wes Anderson-esque touches, including the record player, used books, puzzles, and games--but it's also comfortable, clean, quaint, and simple. The screened porch is where you will want to live, especially if you love delighting in the constant stream of hummingbirds. That is, when you're not enjoying every inch of the gorgeous surroundings. My dog and I spent many hours hiking the greenbelt, swimming in the sparkling river, sitting with the fireflies at dusk, meeting friendly neighbors (though you'll find mostly wonderful solitude), and photographing the butterflies, frogs, turtles, and birds. It's a true gem of a getaway, and I can't wait to return.

Jennfier was a super host. She was very responsive to any questions we had in advance of our arrival and checked on us once we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and that we found things. The house was just what we expected based on the description and pictures and was very nicely appointed and comfortable. It was like being at home. The location on the Guadalupe River was perfect and allowed us to enjoy some time out at the river since it had such easy access. We couldn't have booked a more perfect place our weekend in New Braunfels.

We had a wonderful stay here over the long weekend! The place was comfortable, clean, smelled nice, and had everything we needed. Not only did we enjoy it, our dogs did too! The location made it easy to get downtown and explore nearby restaurants. We’d definitely stay again!
