The location was convenient to the venue we attended. Rachel is very accommodating and quick to communicate. We had everything we needed.

Tracy and Chris were absolutely amazing hosts. The place was perfect! Tracy is an amazing cook, so be sure as to not miss breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely look forward to returning. You will not go wrong staying here.

This was our second stay at Doug and Elaine’s place, and we were once again charmed by their gracious hosting. Their place is a historical gem, and the beautifully-appointed home and scenic landscape feed your soul. Don’t hesitate to book this place right away!

As the other reviews have mentioned, John is a beyond excellent host!!! And very responsive! He is also very knowledgeable and helpful regarding shops and restaurants in Troy. Nigel and Margaret (John’s greyhounds) are also very good companions at this Inn! The decor in the rooms and in the shared rooms and hallways is just beautiful and very interesting! And he serves delicious homemade breakfast! With alfresco dining as an option in the warmer weather.

Linda, husband Dick and dog Penny were a complete delight. Our one-week stay was so wonderful. We had great conversations over breakfast daily. Their home was comfortable to be in. We were welcome to come and go as we please. There was an entire downstairs with sofas, tv and additional bathroom to be able to relax outside of the bedroom. We were always welcome to join them upstairs in the living room. I was able to use the kitchen to prepare a couple of meals. They had great suggestions on places to go around the area. We were in town for a family wedding and visiting extended family and friends. The private bathroom is big with a large walk shower. There is a jetted tub that we did not use. There was a washer and dryer available to use. The bedroom has two windows that can be opened to have fresh air. We asked for a fan for the room, and one was provided. The bed is very comfortable. The visit was like being with family in all the best ways. Highly recommend staying there. TY

7 of us stayed here while on a bike trip along the Erie Canal. Margaret was an accommodating and helpful host. She provided a hose to wash down our bikes and there's a barn to store them in. The house itself is pretty and very interesting, filled with art and artifacts from previous times, and is in a lovely spot out in the country surrounded by fields and farmland. There's only one bath on the upstairs floor but there is another downstairs as well as an outdoor shower so that wasn't a problem. We really enjoyed breakfast and "story time", when Margaret told us about the history of the house as well as stories from her own fascinating life. Overall our stay here was an enjoyable and memorable part of our bike trip.

I've visited this area the last eight Octobers and I dont know how I missed Bill and Joann's place! I will certainty book early for next year. Bill greeted me after ok'ing a late night check in. He was warm and welcoming. It was like visiting my brother's house! My room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Coffee, snacks and homebaked goods were offered in the morning. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

First time in Finger Lakes region, and Canandaigua, and Lisa’s place fit the bill perfectly: totally walkable location to coffee, wine bar (best one is called Pintxos!), Canandaigua Lake, all of DT and more. Also spotless clean even though there are quite a bit of things and furniture in each room. Two more things: 1) her homemade breakfast each morning was a true delight 2) unlike so many corporate air b n b’s now, that are soul-less and sterile, this really is someone’s well cared for and welcoming home, how air b n b is supposed to be! Will absolutely return and 100% highly recommend.

Beautiful, Historic, Sumptuous, Elegant, Welcoming, Delicious... I know you won't read a novel, so I'll just say WOW. Super sweet people, & a spectacular space. & come to breakfast hungry. We have never felt as welcome and comfortable at a B&B as we did at Chic and Dwight’s. Dwight showed us around and pointed out and explained everything that we needed to know for our comfort and safety. The house is tastefully furnished and decorated and is also beautifully homey and welcoming. The grounds are gorgeous and it is easy to walk to restaurants. The daily fresh baked cookies and fruit in our room was especially nice. The hearty breakfasts were beautifully presented and every bite was delicious. Chic and Dwight were perfect hosts and readily available to answer questions, provide suggestions for things to do or places to eat, or to just take time to talk. It was a wonderful experience. We would go again.

Our stay at the Laurentide Inn was perfect! The inn was perfectly located and impeccably decorated both outside and inside. The 1880 room was beautiful & cozy and the ideal place to stay for the night. The breakfast was also delicious - some of the best pancakes I have ever had! Will be sure to return to the inn on future trips to Penn Yan!

Beautiful, historic house. Quiet and peaceful but still less than a 1/2 mile walk to SUNY Geneseo campus and restaurants and shops.

Had a wonderful one night stay at Chapman House. Check in was easy and breakfast was delicious.

the couple is very nice, friendly, easy-going, considerate. Very satisfied with the room and bed, cozy and comfortable. Very good memory!

Field was an absolutely wonderful host! His instructions prior to arrival were very helpful, especially as we were navigating during a weekend with particularly poor weather. Field’s home is immaculate, filled with storied antiques and charming paintings and lived history - living and breathing! Field was so friendly and accommodating, with many excellent recommendations for activities of all kinds. We had a few lovely engaging chats about life and art and love, and it was wonderful to connect! He was a highlight in a weekend already chock-full of highs! Thank you, again, Field! Words cannot adequately convey how delightful Nancy and her B&B are. Far beyond any description or photos is the magic of this place. I stayed on New Year’s Day and following a long day of driving was invited to join Nancy and Sean for a lovely meal during which we shared amazing food & rich conversation. I also adored Woody and Abby! And in the morning in the still blowing snow, Sean and Nancy warmed and cleaned my car off prior to my drive. I cannot wait to return in a different season to further explore the property and area. You will not find hospitality that exceeds what you will experience here!

Katleen and Jack were fantastic hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our dog, Salty, had a wonderful time with them as well. Since we were the only guests, they even offered to watch Salty for a few hours so we could enjoy a quiet dinner together, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The river view is stunning, and the beds are incredibly comfortable with high-quality linens. They put so much care into the delicious breakfast and ensuring we had a great stay. We highly recommend staying at Katelyn and Jack's home!

Marikate and her husband were fantastic hosts - we felt welcome and taken care of the moment we arrived. The accommodations are as described…the environment is tranquil and relaxed. The house is very close to Saratoga Springs’ main drag where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to explore. Strongly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Priscillas home. it was well equipped with what we needed, quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. We will be sure to return!

Kristi could not have been a more kinda and gracious host. She not only provided a lovely home and very comfortable sleeping space, she provided a loving emotional space for a weary traveler. Everyone alludes to her warm and welcoming spirit and they did not exaggerate. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay here. As soon as we walked in we were overjoyed with the accommodations. Very spacious, warm, and inviting. My son was so excited he couldn’t get over it. The fireplace was a huge plus! Robert was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking to visit Lake George. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary here! We both needed time away from civilization and to enjoy nature. We slept like babies in the big comfy bed with Mr. Heater doing his job to keep our tent toasty. The babbling brook outside as well as the other nature sounds acted as a natural “white noise machine.” The kitchen was fully stocked and Joan provided breakfast in the morning. This was a great location to spend time together and reflect. We will be back and we will bring friends next time! Definitely recommend this beautiful sanctuary that Joan and staff have created!
