Cottage vacation rentals in Erie Canal

It was a beautiful private setting with all the accommodations listed. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was a great addition. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed although the pans might need updating in the near future. It was close to all the places were had planned to visit but private enough to feel like it was a get-a-way! Intimate and sweet.

Had a great time at the Finger Lakes! Terrific location for exploring wineries on the three surrounding lakes. House was very well equipped, hot tub felt wonderful in the evening after exploring during the chilly days, and such a relaxing and serene setting right on the lake. Host was very quick to respond to any questions. This will definitely be a choice for future trips.

Peppermint Cottage was the perfect place for a cozy, relaxing getaway. We loved the big fireplace and hot tub under the stars. Everything is just as pictured with comfy beds, plenty of towels, and very clean. Diane was a great host who thought of so many of special touches from a fire going when we arrived and lantern for the hot tub walk to cookies, coffee, and fresh eggs. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

The house was perfect for our family of three! We went for a 3 day weekend - house is cozy, impeccably clean, located only a mile and a half (5 min drive) from the downtown area in a very quiet neighborhood. There’s a fenced in backyard with games for the kids and a hot tub (such a bonus!). Amanda was extremely communicative and responded immediately with a few small questions we had. I highly recommend and would stay here again!

My fiancé and I had an amazing weekend here. It was quiet and peaceful. The lake view was beautiful and the house as well. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery!

Booked a sister’s weekend at the cottage and couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more! The home was adorable and we loved the views of the creek. The host was responsive and gave us great recommendations! Some of our favorite things to do on our stay were kayaking in the state park, brownies custard, Matty’s pizza, jet boat tours in lewiston, and of course seeing the falls! We also enjoyed seeing our beaver friend in the backyard every day! Can’t wait to come back!

Couldn’t recommend Green Haven anymore. Barbara and Gregory were fantastic hosts, were extremely hands on and accommodating to make it a perfect stay for my family and dog. Everything in the listing is described perfectly and the property and cabins are super clean. Location is fantastic as well, just a very short drive into Lake George village.

This cabin is the perfect place to switch off from the world and relax. The lake is beautiful. The cabin is clean and well equipped. James and Renee are lovely people whose main aim is for people to enjoy the experience of staying at their properties. Jamie brought us fish from the river and kitted us out with bikes to save us hiring some. A lovely stay.

Beautiful place to stay. The cottage had everything we could ever ask for for a 3 day fishing escape. Neat and comfortable rooms and living space, a great outdoor deck space, combined with the outdoor fire pit and wood stove inside. Made our fishing trip more memorable!

MJ and Packy’s listing was exactly as described. Right on the Hudson River with beautiful views. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked. Rooms were comfy (beds could be upgraded but were adequate). Super clean bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of linens/towels. It’s 15-20 minutes from Glen Falls and Lake George and 25 mins to Saratoga Springs, if you want more options for food/nightlife/things to do. We were snowed in for a day and it felt just like home - games/tv/comfy couch. Would recommend.

We had such a nice stay here! It was a quick last minute one night getaway and it was perfect! The host was so accommodating and responsive. The place was spotless and the little welcome package was so cute and thoughtful!

I stayed at this Airbnb over New Year’s Eve, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was fantastic. We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

Wonderful place to stay for our family of four! Beautiful view and clean, cozy home with all amenities needed to feel at home. We look forward to the next time we have the chance to make it to the upstate NY area and stay here again!

No frills, but exactly what you need for a relaxing stay on the lake in FLX. Cabin is well equipped for whatever weather you encounter- plenty of fans, heaters, blankets, and windows. There are many lighting options, portable lamps, and tons of outlets. There are 2 wineries walking distance from the property, and dozens of wineries, breweries, cideries, restaurants, stores and more within a 20 minute drive. Just a little further gets you to Geneva, Ithaca, Watkins Glen and more- the scenery can't be beat. It is incredibly dark and quiet around the property, so rain, wind, falling branches, etc. can seem a bit alarming, but just know that going in and don't let it deter you! Bruce was available for check-in and checked-in to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely return!
