Barn vacation rentals in Erie Canal

The Phoenix Cottage was a great place for our family to stay while our son spent the week at Cooperstown Dreams Park. We loved the vintage style cottage and the beautiful natural surroundings. I particularly enjoyed the quiet mornings drinking my coffee with the large barn doors wide open to the trees and lake. Hyde is a fabulous host and extremely flexible and responsive. We highly recommend this lovely home! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality!

Great for multiple families that are participating in Cooperstown Tournament. House is amazing, spacious. Huge yard, will definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful property! My wife and I were able to snowshoe right out the back door. Will definitely return and spend an evening at the cabin when the wildflowers are in bloom. Loved our room…rustic and quaint. Thought the kitchenette was cool. Town of Skaneateles was fun. Great restaurants and shopping. The Milkhouse Diner in Marietta was our favorite…incredible breakfast!

The location and setting is fabulous. The apartment is super quaint and cute with lots of charm. Hosts are wonderfully responsive

Awesome place! Dana couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The location, with many acres, was very peaceful and quiet. The only sound I heard were the church bells in the distance which was so soothing. The nicely appointed room (and great shower) is part of the barn with a small window looking out into the stables and the horses in the pasture beyond. Her place had everything I needed for a memorable stay.

It was a great experience. The host was very responsive. And the house was great for someone who wants to feel like home.

Dana’s place was perfect for our 2 night stay… cozy & comfortable room in a quiet & picturesque rural location, yet with convenient proximity to Cooperstown attractions. And loved the little window in our room looking into the stables and out to the horse pasture! Highly recommend!!

My wife and I had a fantastic Valentine’s Day weekend at Kate’s Carriage House. The house was spotless and very nicely decorated. Kate went above and beyond to even pick up flowers I bought for my wife from a local florist and set them up so beautifully in the house! My wife was truly surprised when she entered and saw the flowers. We felt right at home and are even already planning a return trip for the summer time!

We loved our stay at the property. Comfortable, clean, nice smelling beddings. Spacious house for the family, very private and safe. Kitchen was equipped with proper utensils and the house had all the amenities you need during travel. Overall excellent experience, nice location and view, would love to visit again!

The Cristman barn was the perfect venue and place for my wedding party and family to stay for my extended wedding. The house is rustic and beautiful with our pups being able to run around the property and frolic in the open lands. There are a lot of bugs in the wetlands but nothing a flea and tick collar won’t cure for your pups. Elliot was a responsive and helpful host, always ensuring that all my questions got answered in a timely manor and any vendors I was working with had knowledge of what they were supposed to to do and when they could set up. The oven is a bit smaller now that they’ve replaced the old one and the ping pong table no longer is there but the stay was just as pleasant as the last time we were stayed. I’d 100% recommend for a big gathering or peaceful getaway with friends and family!

The Serenity Barn was perfect for our stay in Cooperstown. Our son was playing at Dreams Park and the location of the barn was great for all of the back and forth trips to the fields. It is centrally located to many of the great dining options as well. The barn is a great option for 1 or 2 small families that are visiting for baseball or any of the other attractions the area has to offer.

We had an excellent couple of nights in Albany! The place was just what we wanted & needed at the end of a long week of travel - a peaceful, rustic haven.

My family has stayed in many a vacation rental over the years, this home is right at the top of the list! Jan has this home stocked to the brim with anything you can need during your stay ; pots/pans/cookware/small incidental items. It feels like a home. Onto the house. The home itself is a great setup for a small family or couple looking to get away. Clean, well spaced out, and beds/bath are great. The home itself is REALLY quite, not a peep from anything. We really felt like we were alone for the week. The land is beautiful, we did not get to enjoy it as much as we wanted due to rain. You can see easily how the stream would be relaxing to sit by for a few hours. The horses were great to visit with, all very friendly. Location wise the house sits right between All Star Village and downtown Cooperstown, a perfect spot! If you are coming up here for baseball, this is your spot!!!!

Shawn and Maggie’s place is so charming and a perfect cozy getaway. My friend and I were in town visiting friends and family and this little apartment is in such a great central location. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with the basics & even some extra amenities, the bed is so comfortable and we loved how well the whole place was designed. Even as a studio apartment, it has very defined little areas, which makes it feel really spacious. Keep in mind the a-frame, so taller people will have to crouch near the edges, mostly using the sink in the bathroom. And the shower has a pretty small footprint, so just a heads up for people who want more room. As short people, we loved our time and have recommended it to out friends in the area when they need somewhere for loved ones to stay. Such a great find!
