Vacation rentals with a kayak in South Carolina

The home and the surrounding area was beautiful, more than we expected! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were lovely and the furniture was cozy!! We had so much fun playing foozball and sitting by the fire. We would come back to this house anytime!

We stayed for a baseball tournament hosted at Lexington and River Bluff HIgh Schools. Location was perfect for both venues. House was restful and well stocked for us to hang out and cook before/after games. Great property!

.We hosted our family of 10 Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. Kids loved the kayaks and the dock. We took a pontoon boat ride with Captain Kenny- highly recommend.

Beautiful house and scenery. Had a nice family vacation on the water. The house was perfect for a family. The boat bed was a hit with our daughter, she thought it was so cool. Nice patio with fire pit which is a plus. Neighborhood seems very safe. Very quaint town so it’s more of a relaxing and outdoorsy kind of vacation spot. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Amanda and her husband maintained a really good property here it was clean well laid out well lit everything was functioning with a few problems we had as far as drainage of the drain. She was already working on. She was flexible as far as my family coming to town to visit with a sick relative for the holidaysoverall, just a great visit highly recommend Amanda and her family.

Stuart was an outstanding host! He graciously accommodated our last-minute reservation, and the house exceeded all our expectations. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook any meal, the entire home was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. This little cottage in Bluffton was beautiful. Expert decorating, everything was new beautiful and comfortable. Rooms were cozy but not small. Bathroom was a really well designed. Great access to the riverfront and also very pretty neighborhood and easy walk into town. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Oh goodness…it was hard to leave! So very peaceful, precious neighbors, and that lake!? The backyard!? The fireplace!? The decorations!? THE LAMINATED, ORGANIZED INSTRUCTIONS!? Impeccable. Already counting down days until we can return.

We had an amazing stay at Eden Wind Farm! The property is private and gorgeous. Denise and Tanya were very accommodating, relaxed, kind, and literally thought of everything to make our stay what it was. They had horseback riding class twice while we stayed-one of my son’s favorite parts of the trip! Molly, the horse he rode, is a retired competitive quarter horse that is gentle and was perfect for my son (he’s 5.) I felt confident in Molly. My son got to pet chickens, collect eggs, and fish for bass! Honestly, staying at Eden Farm was the highlight of our vacation. Thank you, Denise and Tonya!

Chris’s Cottage in the Pines was absolutely perfect for me as I spent time enjoying all that the Beaufort area had to offer! The tiny cottage was stocked with whatever I needed, the bed was comfy, and the outdoor fire ring was perfect for relaxing. A pass to nearby Hunting Island State Park was available in the cottage for my use. Chris was the ideal host and responded almost immediately if I had a question. He is native to the area and thus is knowledgeable about just about anything a visitor would want to know. In addition, he is a local musician and (at my request) offered suggestions as to where I could listen to live music. I highly recommend this AirBnB!

Our second time staying here. This property is exactly as described and more. It’s furnished wonderfully and exceptionally comfortable. This is exactly what an Airbnb should be. My wife and I come here when we need an escape. Host is very responsive and super helpful. We will absolutely be back again in the future.

This is our 3rd time staying at Archie’s place in the past year. It is truly perfect. The home is always so clean and has everything you could ever need to relax and enjoy your stay. We spent our days fishing off the dock and on the lake using the paddle boat and kayaks provided for guests to use. It was truly so relaxing and peaceful. Our evenings were filled with cooking, sitting around the beautiful fire pit and enjoying family. We love playing darts and pool in the game room before settling in for the night. We will never stay anywhere else. This home has something for everyone and is so relaxing and peaceful. Thanks Lisa for sharing your home, we have made great memories!!

A quite little place to relax and sit off the water. The host even provides fishing gear if needed. Also, the private boat is a plus.

Lovely spot for a quiet get-away. Close to everything we needed. Enjoyed lake swimming, hot tub relaxing, and fire pit ambiance. Great view. We also enjoyed antiquing and thrift shopping in the area.

We stayed at Lizard Lodge last year at the same time. We loved it so much we booked again and this year was just as fabulous. We enjoyed the hot tub, playing games around the kitchen table, and just visiting. The house was perfect for our needs. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

My husband and I had an amazing time at the whitewater cabin! It was the perfect space for a weekend escape. We wish we could have stayed an entire month if our jobs allowed. We highly suggest staying, you will not be disappointed. Tom and Kylie were wonderful super hosts and we will definitely be back!

We all felt very comfortable and extended our stay for a longer period. We felt right at home and very relaxed with the beautiful surroundings.

Great place for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing evening or weekend… is definitely a diamond in the rough. Looking forward to visiting again

Scott was responsive to all requests/concerns we had during our stay. The amenities are A+ and the cabin is very spacious with multiple areas to congregate or separate! With the exception of hiking Station Cove Falls trail, attending a Christmas Eve service, and fishing at a childhood fishing spot, we found that the amenities of this cabin were very sufficient for the 5 days we were there. An important detail to note on this review is that the bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. The other 3 bedrooms are up a very steep flight of stairs. The room with the king-sized bed does not have a single bed, as indicated on the site. For my family of 6 adults, we found that this cabin sleeps only 5 comfortably. There are 2 cots, one on the upper level and one on the basement level along with a futon-style sofa. Scott has put a lot of thought into making this property a vacation home waiting to make special memories for families who stay here!

Great place to stay for anyone wanting to enjoy all Lake Murray has to offer. Really convenient to the bridge as well as local restaurants.
