Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sacramento River

Very comfortable, homey house with everything we needed for a five night stay. We would certainly recommend it and return ourselves if we had the opportunity.

I can’t recommend Joan’s house enough if you have the opportunity to visit and stay in Mill Valley. My husband and I, and our two friends traveled to the bay for my birthday weekend hoping for rest and serenity in nature (while still close enough to food/coffee if we wanted to venture out) which is exactly what Joan’s place offers. Such an artistic, beautifully decorated, comfortable, inspiring home, and I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to experience it. Joan is so lovely and kind - she is exactly the type of host people hope for when booking an Airbnb! Good coffee, food and shops are a beautiful 10-minute walk from the house. If you enjoy reading, definitely bring a book or two to read on the balcony - it’s the ideal reading spot. My husband and I are already talking about when we might be able to make a trip back; we absolutely loved staying here. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality, Joan!

Great place for a family get away! We visited for a long weekend, and we enjoyed the fenced in yard as we have an elderly dog and two toddlers that loved walking along the gardens. Located in a very quiet neighborhood! We sure enjoyed it as it reminded us of the town we grew up in Michigan! Highly recommended would definitely stayed again.

This is a lovely home and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Sacramento area! Both bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds and soft, plush sheets. The kitchen was stocked with all appliances you can think of: French press, keurig, coffee pot, hot water kettle etc. There is ample street parking as well and it is close to the highway making the location highly convenient. You could hear the neighbors as others mentioned but it was minimal and not disruptive in any way. The hosts communicated proactively and kindly. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town.

Judy was quick to respond which made the last minute change in reservations easy! No problem with any! The place was very clean and beautifully decorated.

I would like to thank Deborah and her husband for the best stay ever. They were so genuine and welcoming. She provided us with goodies that were amazing and she welcomed us face to face. Just over all exceptional service. I recommend their home for a peaceful getaway and we will definitely be coming back.

Hosts were very friendly and the unit was spacious. It had everything we needed including a well-stocked kitchen and full-sized washer and dryer. Location was great too.

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

This is the perfect stay in Sebastopol. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood with easy walk to bagels hardline, shopping.’ The space is bright with great storage light and fully stocked kitchen. This was our 2nd stay and we hope it’s available in future. Perfect stay.

Best part, they had a EV charger.

Absolutely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. It was immaculately clean with vibrant, fun, eclectic decor. We loved the style and setup. It was well equipped and then some! Thoughtful touches. Such a cozy and comfortable place to stay. Bed was very comfortable Nice hot shower with ever toiletry you can think of available for guests. The patio was exceptional, again beautifully decorated. We enjoyed starting our day with coffee out there. Location was perfect. Downtown Petaluma minutes away. Surrounding area has breweries and wineries. Monica was a very attentive host, checking in to see if we needed anything a few times during our stay. Excellent communication. Answered our questions prior to booking. We have family in San Fran and will absolutely make this place our home base whenever we visit.

The Treehouse was a beautiful spot in a beautiful location. It’s close to lovely shops, the views from the room are gorgeous, and the host is very welcoming and thoughtful. I highly recommend it!

Diane is wonderful, just like her tranquil garden and home. She was a great hostess and the accommodations surpassed my expectations. I enjoyed every minute at her home, from the peaceful bedroom space to the lovely hot tub on the balcony deck. Truly a great experience and so close to amazing Nevada City.

We stayed here for our mini-moon after getting married in Sonoma and it was exactly what we needed. We’re local to Petaluma and wanted a tranquil escape post-wedding—Jan and Lou’s farmstay delivered. The home was cozy, peaceful, and full of thoughtful touches like homemade scones, farm-fresh eggs, Strauss cream, and a Belgian waffle breakfast basket. The bed? Incredibly comfortable (which we desperately needed!). We loved waking up to Highland cows outside the window, relaxing by the fire, and having access to an EV charger. Jan and Lou were warm, welcoming hosts—Jan even left the porch light on for us. Their dog is adorable too! We disconnected, breathed fresh air, and indulged in oysters from Marshall nearby. The property felt private, serene, and totally romantic. Every detail made us feel at home. We truly didn’t want to leave, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you, Jan and Lou, for making our first few days of married life so special, warm, and memorable.

Absolutely perfect - the hidden getaway that made my vacation stay peaceful and serene. It was easy to get an uber into town (a short, 10 minute drive) to walk around and visit tasting rooms and dinner. Breakfast service, a gorgeous bathroom, and cozy surroundings made it an idyllic stay. I’ll be back next year!

I had a great stay with Deborah and her son and Co-Host. She was very friendly and kind, and it was nice to be in a Home. My Room was very comfortable and I liked the ergonomics and tech, such as smart oscillating fan and Direct TV to unwind. I was able to conduct research in the local neighborhood and complete projects and publications. I had an enjoyable dip in their Hot Tub on day one and, I really appreciated the provided snacks and water dispenser.

If you are visiting Lassen NP and need to stay overnight, Martha's home is definitely the best place to be. Only 10 minutes drive to the park entrance, the huge house is situated in the quite woods. Beautiful surroundings, extremely clean inside, and the very welcoming hostess Martha. We got a lot of information around the area from Martha which is very helpful for our photo trip. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast and some interesting talks with Martha. We will definitely stay here again next time when we visit the park. Thank you very much Martha.

Dawna's place was perfect for our one-night stay. Dawna has very thoughtfully stocked her place with everything needed, and she greeted us when we arrived to give us a personal tour. We also loved having a glass of wine in the lovely backyard beside the fire pit.

I had the very BEST stay at Mark's place! Everything about the stay was magical - the cottage was quaint and lovely, surrounded by redwoods. Mark's hospitality was of the very best I have seen...he was so kind, helpful and caring and lovely to talk with during the stay. He cares so much and wants to make sure his guests have the best experience. And wow the baked goods are incredible! This was the best mini retreat I could have imagined..I will definitely be back!
