Houston was awesome! He shared a couple beers with us and was really interesting to talk to. I wish we hadn't been too tired to take him up on his pool invitation. The cats were also adorable.
Chelsea2015-02-20T00:00:00ZThis was a very pleasant stay. My two friends and I pulled in a little late in the evening but Houston came out to greet us right away which we really appreciated. We came inside, put our bags down, and had a nice relaxing chat with Houston. He is very personable and social but also respectful of his hosts' privacy and space. We basically had the entire downstairs to ourselves which was very convenient. This place is perfect for a quiet, peaceful overnight stay.
Jesse2015-07-11T00:00:00ZHouston was great! He met me when I arrived, explained the location, got me settled in, and made some great recommendations on where to eat and go out (definitely try Quack’s bakery in the neighborhood). I had a conference downtown and the location couldn’t have been better. There are several bus options and I even walked to downtown one morning (about a 40+ minute walk). The buses run late so be sure to ask Houston where to have a beer. The cats were a plus. Great place, great location, great price, and great host.
S2017-01-08T00:00:00ZHouston has a house with charm in a prime location in Austin. It's enjoyable to walk around and see the beautiful and interesting houses. We walked to Quack's 43rd Street bakery-delicious, popular, and a nice place to sit with a book or computer. Houston is very easy to communicate with.
Martha2016-11-26T00:00:00ZI had a great time staying with Houston and his cats! The house was awesome, conveniently located, and it was fun to get to know my host. Houston was super thorough and responsive throughout the whole process. If I make it back to Austin in the near future will definitely look to see if this is available again!
Mohona2016-04-25T00:00:00ZGreat location within walking distance of Hyde Park restaurants & grocery, also 2 blocks from Blue Moon Glass if you're in Austin taking a workshop there!... Comfy accommodation., especially if you need a cat fix! Highly recommend it for a stop over in Austin. .Great value. Houston and his two cats make you feel very welcome!
Lynne2016-10-28T00:00:00ZHouston's place comfortable, pretty and clean! He is a great host! Very friendly! The cats are great too!
Julien2017-01-21T00:00:00ZHe was a very cool guy ! We were barely in the house but when we were around he had tons of recommendations for us. The cats are love too.

Please is cheap in relative to everything for sxsw, Host gave nice directions however I've never stayed in such a uncleared place. I saw flys. And it smelled. Please clean your place if your planning on hosting people please. I don't even think the sheets were clean, I found black things all over.
Stephanie2017-03-19T00:00:00ZLoved Estibaliz she was so sweet and great with helpul communication!
Hannah2016-09-06T00:00:00ZFun chatting with the host
Daniel2016-09-10T00:00:00ZSleep and go that's all ... As some other coms says it's small dark , dirty and no privacy at all . Hot as hell during night time , the AC was too noisy , bugs fly and smells bad into the room . Kitchen was dirty with a coconut pot oil with 2 massive dead roaches inside in the middle her foods , salt ... After saw that there was no way to use anything there to cook , the bathroom was ok but way too small and no lights worked inside... Thanks i had my sleeping bag cause the sheets smells so bad . I had to cancel the next night there and found another place to stay cause sleeping in a place where massive roaches are under your bed when you sleep it's kind of nasty ... I didn't met her but seems super nice by messages .
Mike2017-04-20T00:00:00ZEstibaliz was gone, but the communication was great! I texted her with questions and she was very responsive and clear. Her friend Katie was in charge of things and she was amazing - very friendly, accommodating and fun to talk to. She made great suggestions for things to check out. I would definitely stay here again.
Alana2016-11-10T00:00:00ZA great quiet place to crash for a night, plenty of places to visit nearby.
David2017-01-19T00:00:00ZGreat location at a very affordable rate!
Aditya2016-12-11T00:00:00ZIt is a very comfortable place right in the city centre. A short walk to the Metro Light train and bus stops. Wifi works great, and Natalie and Mark are good host, provide good information to the area.

Awesome place to stay in Austin! Very clean and quaint. Perfect location. It was everything I expected and more! Would stay again.
Jonathan2017-05-07T00:00:00ZI had to spend a week in Austin for a brutal three day exam and was looking for a quiet place close to downtown. Shawn's place was perfect. I was able to study from the apartment and walked just a few bucks for some great food (please try Veracruz tacos!). The AC unit was perfect for providing white noise in the evenings. There's also a great juice bar (Juice in a Box) a few blocks away. If you're looking for a simple place that is affordable and perfectly located, this is it. Shawn was also super responsive and her dog, Gigi, was adorable. I will definitely try and stay here again!
Erica2017-02-24T00:00:00ZGreat location! Easy check-in.
Shayla2017-01-27T00:00:00ZSimple and unique space in a good location.
Erin2017-01-17T00:00:00ZThe host canceled this reservation 85 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Marlon2016-12-19T00:00:00ZAmazing place, close by everything, and only a couple minutes from downtown. I love this place and will recommend it to friends and family
Konstantinos2016-10-20T00:00:00ZWould highly recommend to anyone traveling for pleasure or business. Great location in a quiet neighborhood with a trendy uptown feel. Ride shares can get you to downtown in ~5 minutes for $4-8. Furnishings were simple but clean and comfortable. Loved the little amenities the host provided, such as coffee, creamer, space heater, extra blankets, blow dryer, etc. Overall a wonderful experience.
Sarah2017-04-09T00:00:00ZShawn's place was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring Austin.

Perfect! Angela was very accommodating! Thanks!!!
James2016-10-04T00:00:00ZThe bed was comfortable and Angela was very polite and courteous . However, I was not able to use a majority of my bathroom products because of the perfume rule. Overall, with compromise, the experience was good.
Anish2016-07-02T00:00:00ZAngela is very cool - always growing and ready to help w/ whatever we need - a GEM of a place to stay
Steve2016-07-07T00:00:00ZAngela was very hospitable and fast to assist with our check-in and any questions we had. Her place was definitely clean and quiet. I'd recommend her place for future stays.
Hillary2016-09-04T00:00:00ZEverything was nice. Angela is really kind and open minded. The house is clean, peaceful. It's one of my favorites AirBnb.
JUNHYUK2017-01-20T00:00:00ZAngela was very welcoming and gracious as a host. The accommodations were comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend her as a host!
Kristen2016-07-19T00:00:00ZBy far my best Airbnb experience! Thanx again Angela for everything including doing my laundry for me. It is truly home away from home!
Marcus2016-07-30T00:00:00ZAngela was very welcoming and the dogs was friendly. The room large enough for me. It had a ceiling fan and the house was relatively cool. She is a very sociable person. I would definitely would stay again.

Patrick and Catherine were very flexible in dealing with our arrival time on Thursday night. They had great recommendations around town, and a gorgeous house. All in all, this was a great Air BnB experience!
Andrew2016-10-03T00:00:00ZI loved my stay at Patrick and Catherine's place! Patrick and Catherine were very welcoming upon my arrival and made sure the ins and outs of their place were explained. The neighborhood they live in--Clarksville--is leafy, quiet, and, at this time of year, perfumed by something in bloom. Also--convenient. And full of great restaurants and coffee places. The room in particular is very private, the shower a good one to wake up to in the morning, and, while I did not avail myself of these amenities, there is a lovely private living room with coffee maker and front porch to enjoy at the AirBnber's discretion. I heartily recommend Elm Street Residence!
Tracey2015-05-02T00:00:00ZI had a wonderful stay with Patrick and Catherine in Austin! They were extremely friendly and helpful and the room exceeded my expectations. The neighborhood is also lovely, quiet, and within walking distance of pharmacy, coffee shop, restaurants, etc... It was a memorable experience and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin.
Tony2015-12-08T00:00:00ZWe love Clarksville and found Patrick and Catherine's place to be just what we needed for our long family reunion weekend. They are lovely hosts who could not have been any more gracious. They communicated so promptly, were so welcoming and helpful, and ensured that all our needs were met. The bedroom was comfy and well-appointed, a lovely bathroom, and a whole living room area to enjoy, too. Super clean, too! If you don't know Austin and would like a quiet, residential home experience with easy and quick access to great neighborhood hangouts (Josephines, yum! and Caffe Medici for coffee, yum!, plus near Lamar etc), with nice hosts, this is for you! We would definitely return!
Lisa2016-06-01T00:00:00ZEverything was as advertised. Large sitting area, private bedroom and private bath immediately outside the bedroom. Great little house in a quiet neighborhood. There are a few restaurants and a small grocery store an easy walk away.
Jon2017-04-06T00:00:00ZGorgeous home in a leafy neighborhood close to some very good restaurants. Easily accessible to downtown using the Ride Austin service (roughly a $10 trip). Patrick and Catherine are lovely hosts; always there for you but discreetly in the background should you prefer privacy. This was my first Airbnb expereince and I was suitably impressed.
Neil2017-05-07T00:00:00ZCatherine and Patrick's home is impeccable and a beautifully restored prairie style home. They are also remarkable hosts who are warm and inviting. I had an exceptionally good experience there! The bedroom and bathroom were pristine. I had no worries about cleanliness, safety or security. The most important thing was the kind nature of our hosts. This is a keeper for the long term. I can't wait to stay with them again!
Judy2015-04-13T00:00:00ZHi Patrick and Catherine, Susan and I greatly thank you for hosting us at your beautiful house!

Tommy was great, we had to come and go at odd hours during our trip and he was very accommodating and quite for us.
Anna2016-05-03T00:00:00ZGreat condo with everything you need. Walking to Congress and downtown was great.
Stacey 2016-02-15T00:00:00ZMy sister and I had a great time in Austin! We stayed for only nights but got to see most of the downtown area and 6th street. Tommy was very friendly and a fantastic host. He was very responsive to messages and made sure we had knew about all the local hip places to see and eat. Highly recommended.
Qi2015-12-03T00:00:00ZI stayed here with two friends for a couple of days while attending a conference. Tommy's place is located in a lovely and safe neighborhood in Austin. If you don't mind walking, it's only slightly over a mile walk across the famous Congress St bridge to downtown, which is what we did. The place itself was as advertised. Clean, safe, easy to access. Tommy was friendly but not invasive at all. I definitely recommend it.
Arathi2015-12-07T00:00:00ZWe had a great weekend at Tom's place. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet him since he was away, but he was very communicative. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect for exploring SoCo and taking a stroll through the Lady Bird Lake trail.
Melissa2015-12-28T00:00:00ZI had a fantastic stay at Tom's place! The neighborhood is really nice and quiet, but also super close to downtown so you can come and go as you please (and you can uber for really cheap also). Tom's place is really nice and clean, and private bathroom definitely a plus. Tom was super nice, helpful, and easy going. I couldn't have had a better stay. Thanks!

We loved our stay here. The house was so cozy and homey, and the room was set up really well. We only met Amanda briefly since she was recovering from surgery , but her husband and father took great care of us. We even got a ride to pickup our rental car which we really appreciated. Thanks for a great stay!
Kelsey2017-01-17T00:00:00ZAmanda's place was above expectations! She was extremely friendly and her dogs are wonderful if you want them around, and in no was intrusive! Everything was spotless and clean! The place is well within a reasonable distance from everything you would want to visit in Austin and at an awesome price! Would highly recommend.
Zach2016-12-11T00:00:00ZAmanda and Dan were very friendly and knowledgeable about everything Austin, Texas. Their home was clean and well-maintained, and they were always free to answer any questions we had. Overall an awesome first airbnb experience!
Katie2017-03-31T00:00:00ZAmazing house, awesome deal, good people, Cant get any better! Will be back again!
Abi2017-02-17T00:00:00ZAmanda was a great host and we had everything we needed. It's close to downtown and a very affordable option. Thanks for having us!
Skyler2017-04-05T00:00:00ZWhat a joy to stay in the great city of Austin in a quiet very comfortable home. Amanda is a great host, added touches of some interesting books to read and great info about the Austin area. I never sleep the first night away from home very well, had no trouble at Amanda's place!
Matthew2017-04-13T00:00:00ZEverything in the house was clearly marked. I had a place in the fridge and my own drawer in the bathroom. John was super helpful informing me where to go to listen to good live music. I enjoyed reading on the back patio! They have a piano- the guest who was saying in the other room enjoyed playing it. They respected quiet hours. The value of this place was great. If I am a Austin again, I would stay here again. Thanks John and Dan!
Hannah2017-02-22T00:00:00ZAmanda's home is even better than the pictures. I think it's the cleanest home I've stayed in. Bedroom is great with a desk, ceiling fan, and the most comfortable bed ever. Most houses I've stayed at keep them too warm. Amanda's has great air conditioning and it's cool and comfortable for sleeping well. The bathroom is also very clean and she provides space to keep your things. Amanda is a great host. I hope she is available the next time I'm in Austin.

The absolute perfect space for a couple or independent traveler. Susan's property is nestled in a quaint and quiet neighborhood, a short walk to a large park (Ramsey Park i believe), to TacoDeli (home to some of the best breakfast tacos you will ever have) and several other small shops. And it's only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Austin or to the Domain where you can get your shopping on! One of our favorite AirBnb experiences hands down.

I had a great experience with Greg. He was attentive to all of my needs. I appreciated the warmth, simplicity, and contemporary decor of his home. It was comfortable and suited my needs well. I recommend this accommodation to all.
Jamar2016-06-17T00:00:00ZAs two 20 year old girls we were a little worried about using air bnb, but Gregory was the perfect host and went felt very comfortable in his home.
Caitlin2016-11-08T00:00:00ZWe enjoyed our stay in Austin at Greg's place. He was flexible with our arrival, which was great since we were coming in from an 8+ hour drive that day. The house was clean, including the bathroom! (always important to me but sometimes lacking in the more affordable AirBnB spaces - but it was great here!) and the room was comfortable. The room was large, with a big deal that was useful for getting some work done. A ceiling fan kept the room at a nice temperature. The bed was not the most comfortable but I still slept very well. As Greg is night owl like we are, we ended up chatting on the patio a few hours for a couple of the nights we were there. I would definitely consider staying here again!
Jacqueline2016-07-19T00:00:00ZThe space was comfortable and centrally located. Gregory was very nice and welcoming. The location, while very convenient, is also still being gentrified. I was asked for money as soon as I parked and there were a lot of people just roaming around at all hours. I live in a transitioning neighborhood at home so I was fine but it's worth noting if you aren't used to this type of thing.
Angela2016-03-25T00:00:00ZWas only in Austin for one night. Greg was very accommodating and made the checking in/out extremely convenient to fit my schedule. Would definitely stay here next time I'm in Austin!
Jonathan2016-08-21T00:00:00ZGreg was a great host. Was flexible with us on arrival times and made us feel right at home!
Maria2016-09-19T00:00:00ZEasy communication, walkable to lots of restaurants.

Muneeb2017-03-10T00:00:00ZThe room is comfortable and cozy, however the bathroom is not clean enough. Overall it is a good experience.
鹂2016-11-25T00:00:00ZI look forward to staying at your airbnb everytime I visit Austin.
Maxwell2017-02-27T00:00:00ZJeff is very cordial and very available. The place was quiet, clean, comfortable, and all the amenities were present. The other guests wear nice and kept to themselves for the most part. I would stay here again. Thank you, Jeff!
Paul2015-12-03T00:00:00ZJeff was really great. Very friendly and willing to give recommendations. I liked that it was close to the HEB and Torchy's Tacos. Great value for the space.
Meredith2015-10-19T00:00:00ZSo comfortable and clean! Large room, living room and kitchen. The bed was very cozy! Jeff was a very welcoming and polite host. Even though we had little time to talk, he made sure to give me tips about the city. Definitely recommend it!

Alejandro2017-03-18T00:00:00ZWe had a very comfortable stay at Duane's place. He was very knowledgeable of the area and even made a list for us to venture off with. The room and beds were VERY comfortable, especially for two travelers, but would be very comfortable even for 4. Highly recommended!
Timothy2016-07-15T00:00:00ZDuane made our stay so easy. Everything was prepared and perfect for us and he gave us great recommendations for eats and activities in Austin.

Alan2017-04-11T00:00:00ZGreat place to stay....Duane is very helpful in helping you find the things you are interested in...I would definitely stay again.
Terry2016-12-05T00:00:00ZGreat place to stay in East Austin! Close to restaurants and bars and Duane gave us a lot of local suggestions. Really comfortable beds and nice en suite bathroom. We would certainly stay here again! Thanks Duane.
Justine2017-04-05T00:00:00ZThe room is very private and in a quiet neighborhood. Duane and his girlfriend have three dogs who are very quiet and sweet. There are great bars and restaurants just a short walk away! Duane gave us very helpful recommendations of places to check out. We were able to use the public buses and a ride sharing app called Fare to get around the city; there is no uber or lyft in Austin right now.
