Vacation rentals with a kayak in Ohio

Amanda’s place was so incredibly gorgeous and absolutely perfect! The vibes were incredible. The view was incredible. My friends and I are actually thinking of doing a girls night like this annually because it was so amazing. We had everything we needed plus more. Thank you Amanda for this gorgeous Airbnb ❣️ we couldn’t have stayed anywhere better.

We spent almost almost 4 weeks at Bill’s ranch with our three little kids and it was magical. His cozy house gave us a place to slow down from the hustle of city life, enjoy nature and make memories. From kayak rides on the lake, s’mores at night, climbing on the jungle gym, and learning to fish, there was so much to experience. Bill had everything ready to go every morning as if we were at a resort. The kitchen has everything you would need for a long stay. My favorite was having coffee in the summer room while watching the sun come up over the pond. The kids felt at home, husband could easliy work from any room in the house, and it was a great jumping off point from many places to visit. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back. Bill was a wonderful host and so accommodating. Our kids loved him and his dogs.

It was such a genuinely unique stay. I adored the entire place. Great walkable neighborhood for nighttime strolls. Tug was very helpful and incredibly friendly. LOTS of antiquing and hiking to be had all around.

Our stay was great! The house is right on a very quiet and private lake. The yard is a good size and there's a lot of pace to hangout. Inside was a bit smaller, the kitchen table only sat 3 comfortably but there was plenty of seating in the living room.

This house it great! It’s super cute, very comfortable, a great place to stay in and do nothing or to go visit wineries. The buzz are extremely comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The host Even left us a bottle of wine and snacks. They couldn’t make it any easier.

What a charming house, and it couldn't get closer to the water without being a houseboat! The furniture was comfortable, but the views were the real star here. We loved sitting in the sun room at night playing cards while watching the lake. Also Alex was great to communicate with and very friendly and helpful. I hope we'll make it back to stay again sometime!

We enjoyed our stay-especially the hot tub view! The beds were comfortable and not far from food/ice cream. We would stay here again!

A great little escape! The owners care about details… decor, landscaping, activities, bathrooms, kitchen, all curated spaces for a peaceful engaged existence!

We loved the area, amazing birding! Came to Ohio for a wedding and got so much more on our little extra vacay days. The combo of the beauty of the river right outside the windows, accessible kayaks and the hot tub were wonderful. Fun to paddle around the islands. Very quiet and private but part of a group of cabins along the river. Robert was very responsive when we contacted him for help on a few things. The living room is huge, would be comfortable for a much bigger group! Definitely a “cabin experience” which fits his description!

Dear John.... Cozy Comfy Curious. If any of those aren't you, then I encourage you to expand your horizons and come have an Eye Spy unplugging on the apron of Leesville Lake. Walk the maze of tiny roads and transport randomly through time from now to then and back. Safe, friendly community. We enjoyed the switch from the suburbs. Our drive home up the curvy roads made us wonder how necessary is the strip mall corner RX, and et al really....the cabin is like a magic laso for your heart and soul. A longer toilet is all i ask....but its a heritage vibe...i get it. Thanks John!

Great boat dock, plenty of parking for two trucks with trailers. Host was very responsive and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Helped with rides to and from restaurants. Neighbors were very friendly and fun to hang out with.

Great quiet place, the fish was caught well!

This was my second stay at Anne’s cottage. It was perfect and we will be back next year. Anne is a great and timely communicator. The cottage was very clean and has everything we need. We enjoy fishing off the deck and caught a mixture of blue gill, catfish, and crappie. If you venture out for a meal, we really enjoy Woody’s at Russell Point.

We had the most amazing Thanksgiving getaway at the Cottage by the Lake! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere and breathtaking views of the lake. The cottage was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our holiday feast. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was how dog-friendly the property was. Our furry family member had the best time exploring the spacious yard. It’s not always easy to find accommodations that genuinely cater to pets, but this cottage went above and beyond. The quiet, peaceful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for family bonding, were unforgettable. We are so grateful for this beautiful place and can’t wait to return for another stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat!

My family spent our annual family Memorial Day weekend and had such a wonderful time! Location was perfect, lakefront but also peaceful in the cove. There were so many activities available indoors and outdoors, Bryan and Jerrod did really well with making sure a family is set for fun filled memorable weekend! The hosts have added the cutest little outdoor bar, which we enjoyed very much! The only glitch was that a company came to spray for spiders while we were there- not the owners fault but the company that sprays could have chosen a more appropriate time to spray. Otherwise, an amazing stay, wonderful hosts, definitely recommend!

Whitney and Vincent were fantastic hosts. We loved the natural beauty of “the Roosevelt”, and enjoyed so many amenities. It was a beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy nature, unwind, and spend time with family. Can’t wait to come back!

We definitely enjoyed the beautiful cabin and grounds, as well as the Pool Table, Slot Machine, Golden Tee Golf Game, Theater Room, Hot Tub, and all the other amenities. The beautiful Peacocks and Cats were also great to see. The Scavenger Hunt was enjoyed by all our guests. Alan and Laura were very responsive to our needs and are great hosts. The cabin was well stocked with anything we needed and we had a great time.

This cabin was so beautiful. Perfect on the river. Caught 17 lb cat fish. Matt and his dad were wonderful host as well. And beautiful dog ! 10/10 would recommend !!

Pamela was responsive to any questions. This is a "tiny house" but all we needed was a place to sleep so it was perfect. It does have a nice deck overlooking a lake. It is connected to baseball/softball fields so leaving in the morning when a tournament was beginning was a little hectic.
