Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Ohio

Stayed a couple of days while visiting my 20-something son. We were within a couple of blocks of places he wanted to take us. It was cozy, cute and clean. Appreciated not having to kennel my small dog and there were cleaning supplies there in case there was an accident. Plenty of places to hang wet towels, which is often overlooked by hosts. Thrilled to find a great go-to place next time I'm in town!

Fantastic place to stay and very convenient. I would say one thing that could be improved is adding additional towels and some more kitchen related utensils for cooking would be appreciated. Otherwise great (:

The space was beautiful, comfortable, and convenient. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were clean and tidy, and the little gift basket was a great touch. The Airbnb is also very walkable to CWRU campus and the Cleveland clinic. Loved my stay!

Had an all-around great stay, would highly recommend. The apartment itself and the building in general are very nice and everything feels brand new. I really appreciated the convenience of the free parking garage and the grocery store right down the stairs. It was also great to have the gym and a washer/dryer inside the apartment as well. Check in/out was seamless and the host is very communicative. I already made another booking here 🙏

Great hosts, active communication, and very clean apartment! - Looked just as good as in photos - Fully equipped kitchen with great appliances and high quality ceramic non-stick cooking ware. Great for long-term stays. - Came with a generous amount of complimentary coffee grounds and sugar Notes to other guests: - This Airbnb is next to a busy road so do expect regular sirens and insecure motorist revving their engines late at night. However, the bedroom is located at the center of the airbnb, has no windows, and is thus well isolated against noise. - The gym as of 3/15/25 has 2 treadmills, 1 exercise bike, and a full set of weights. The cabled machine from the photos had been removed.

I had a fantastic stay at this place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The check-in process was smooth, and communication was great. The host was responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to many restaurants, and bars. Perfect Stay – Everything We Needed and More! Our stay at this AirBnB was absolutely amazing! The unit was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We have stayed at the loft twice now. We love the close distance to Cedar Point and the peaceful setting and beautiful views. It had everything we needed to be comfortable on our trip.

This was a perfect spot for us to stay for a weekend of watching volleyball at the Cedar Pint Sport Center. The place was attractive, updated, and plenty of room for 3 adults. Very clean and had everything we needed. We would also consider Paul's place again in the summer. It would be a great vacation spot if visiting Cedar Point, which can be seen from the balcony. It's close, but would be a nice place to escape the noise after a day at the park. Directions were very clear and easy to follow to enter the gate and find the unit. I'd highly recommend this Airbnb location to anyone.

This lakeside location offered incredible value for our recent getaway. The proximity to Cedar Point made our trip even more enjoyable. We had a truly wonderful time relaxing by the water. The house was comfortable and clean, Mark was very kind and gave some great local recommendations. We were attending the renaissance festival so the big mirrors in the bedroom made getting ready a breeze!

I enjoyed another stay at this property. It has everything you need. The house is very clean and well kept with a kitchen that is fully stocked for cooking your own meals. I am looking forward to our next trip to OH.

Very neat unique place. Very comfortable place, thoughtfully supplied with kitchen, bedroom, living room stuff. Well thought out for host's guests. Books, CD's, games, tv and movies, etc... Rented while it was cold out but place would be even better in the warmer weather to enjoy the decks more. Very good host and responsive. Really enjoyed the stay.

We rented the whole house for our family for 2 weeks while a family member had heart surgery at Cleveland Clinic. The home was cozy and comfortable to stay in with plenty of room for everyone. It’s a 10-minute drive to CC and very short walks to a bar, coffee shop, delicious modern Chinese restaurant, and grocery store. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with any issues that occurred.

Easy communication with Daniel , the place was as described , you have all kind of stores close by , I really recommend.

Such a peaceful experience. Neighborhood quiet. Plenty of room to spread out in the home. Nice little extras throughout the house made us feel welcome. Suzi was responsive and kind.

This stay was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend this space for anyone, but especially for a larger group of people. A group of us got together for alumni weekend at Ohio State and Pete's location was perfect! The home is pristine and every detail has been considered. Our party of 10 all had a bed to sleep on and had plenty of privacy. The kitchen/living room space is the perfect gathering spot indoors. The outdoor space is truly magical! The pool and hot tub were essential for our stay (in late October) and the outdoor fireplaces were also great gathering spots. This home allowed us to visit and catch up without having to go out all the time for our trip. The location is perfect - it is close to OSU as well as the interstate if you need to get anywhere in Columbus. Pete was an outstanding host. He was responsive almost immediately if we had any questions and went out of his way to show us how to utilize more complicated things. I hope we can return soon!
